Sounds Like Fun (Open)

(April 24th. Morning. Open to Facilier's Army.)

A few people walked towards the base. Gabriel Ashlocke stood with his new servant Jesse Kilmartin.

"Where are we master?" asked Jesse.

Gabriel grinned.

"We're here to join a war. This seems like a good side to join." said Gabriel.

The other three were women. Two looked intrigued at the sound of a war and the other looked more annoyed. 

"A war? Blast. I wanted to get rich. Not end up in a war. The Devil's Eye was mine. And now it's gone." said Medusa, lamenting out loud.

Mim glanced at her and chuckled.

"All that complaiming over a little diamond? You can get better ones here you know. This war does sound like fun." said Mim.

Icy chuckled.

"I like your style. This could be fun. And maybe we can find a way to get back home in the process." said Icy.

Drina sighed as she looked around herself lost in thoughts. She walked over to the base and looked around. Drina watched the others from the group as she heard them mention a war as she smiled to that. As long as she could get what she wanted, she had no issues in joining the war. Her condition was that if Ever was there, she wanted to be the one who kills her. "I am in, but I have only one condition so. Ever Bloom is mine! If she is found as one of our enemies I want to be the one to finish her off. She tried to kill me, and she interfered in my life for the last time" Drina said. "As long as it's agreed, you got me on your side. She stole Damen, and this is unforgivable" she added and sighed to that, as she after that, just shook her head.

He listened and smiled. "Drina, it is you, I just you died, but good to have you, back," Roman said to her delighted to see her. "I am joining too, I have a score to settle with both Damen and Ever," he said. "With that I mean, I am in too, as long as I get what I want and two pay pay for hurting, using my lady, Drina here," Roman said as he looked at them all and sighed to that.

[Scooby Doo]

Scooby was terrified. The poor dog sniffed anxiously for a familiar scent. He'd rather be with someone he knew it a terrifying place than alone. The dog heard of a war and the first thing to come to him was bombs and bad guys. Immediately the dog panicked and hid behind Madame Mim. "Rhere's a war? I ron't rwant to be in a war" He said nervously. When suddenly he saw a young boy and a couple others come by to talk to them. The boy immediately came to him and replied he'd be alright. Feeling safer with children than anything else, Scooby calmed down and went to the boy's side. He then suddenly smelled a familiar smell "Rhaggy? Rhaggy is here! Rhaggy! Where are you?" He then nodded wildly as Olive said his name "Reah! Reah! Rim rooby doo!"

Olive had been MIA for a small while. He had been training constantly. Since seeing a ton of battles, he wanted to be better for Gi and the rest. He wanted to make his fathers proud. Be the best future leader anyone could face, or at least be the best war solider. He then saw a couple of people come by to see a group of new people. Wanting to set a example, Olive went over very quickly. He especially took sight of the frightened great dane and immediately felt sympathy for him. Olive first introduced himself "Hi everyone, welcome to the war. Heard you guys talking. My fathers are two of the leaders in a army. They'd be very pleased to meet you. I can take you to them" He went to the dog and said kindly "Hey, hey. No need to be afraid. You're safe with me and my army. We'll protect you!" He then was puzzled but realized what the dog meant "Oh shaggy? Yeah he's here. He's been with us for a while... Wait, you're his dog! Scooby right?"

Gabriel glanced seeing other arrivals.

"We've definitely had a very interesting group." said Gabriel.

He paused seeing the leader arrive and bowed.

Jesse is silent as introductions are made not having anything to say and not wanting his master mad at him.

Icy and Mim are both grinning.

"A war? Sounds delightful." said Mim.

XXXX

Icy nodded.

"It certainly does. This will be fun." said Icy.

"XXXX

Malachite smirked as he walked out seeing plenty of the new arrivals.

"Welcome. I am Malachite. One of the leaders of this army." said Malachite.

Shaggy smelled something familiar as he walked out and froze seeing Scooby talking to a boy. He smiled and then froze as his smile faded. Scooby deserved to have a normal owner like Olive. Not an owner who could turn into a monster that would scare him to death. He never wanted Scooby to be scared of him again and he tried to go but tripped as he tried go stumbling forward to the group.

"Um hi everyone. I was just passing by." said Shaggy.

He paused glancing at him knowing he couldn't deny his best friend. He'd missed him and just had to hope he wouldn't lose him when he found out he was a werewolf again. He rushed forward and hugged Scooby.

"I missed you Scooby Doo. I've never liked being apart from you." said Shaggy.

Scooby was tempted to express his opinion, but considering he was in a weak position, he didn't argue. He did not like the idea of war at all. But this kid clearly knew who shaggy was. It was his best lead. Scooby then saw Olive speak for him when suddenly the whole situation was interrupted by a werewolf. Now normally Scooby would have the pants scared off him and hide. But the wolf's voice was far too familiar. And considering this happened before... Scooby wanted to be sure. "Rhaggy? Rhaggy ris rat you?" He asked softly, wanting to believe it was.

Suddenly the dog was grabbed and hugged. Immediately Scooby knew it was his best friend in the whole world. Werewolf or not, this was shaggy, and the dog loved shaggy no matter what he looked like. Even there was a part of him that was afraid, he knew it was shaggy. Scooby immediately hugged back and held the other tightly, licking the werewolf's face "Rhaggy! Rit ris you! I was so rorried! Ry was rooking everywhere! Ry thought ry rost you!" Scooby kept licking the wolf "Ry rissed you! Ry really rissed you!"

After some time, Scooby looked shaggy up and down and asked blankly "Rhat rappened? Row did you turn rinto a werewolf ragain?"

Olive turned to see people very willing to join them, much to the future leader's delight. Olive then saw his father and began "Dad! I'm glad I caught you, see I found scooby, have you seen shaggy he's..." Suddenly shaggy appeared and the two best friends reunited. Olive couldn't help but be extremely happy for the two. But his thoughts were altered when another person appeared on the scene. "And who are you?" Olive asked kindly. He then turned to his dad when the fox introduced himself.

Honest John seemed to see a small group of people and was glad they looked as strange as him. Some people weren't too nice with their opinions on him. Clearly he was in a new area. John quickly came over and holding his inner fear down, he exclaimed nicely "Well this seems like a lovely group of people, mind if I cut in?" Then a young boy asked who he was and he beamed brightly "J. Worthington Foulfellow... But friends call me Honest John. What do I owe the pleasure dear boy?" He then saw the boy look to his dad for assistance and he replied "And you must be the boy's father! My my, you have a incredibly bright young boy here sir, you should be proud"

Drina looked around at all of them as she sighed to that, as she wondefred if her condition was accepted or not but believed that it was. She believed that her condition was  accepted which was good enough for her. Outside she and her kind were perfect especially as they healed fast but inside she wasn't even so, she thought she was perfect inside too but then again she was indeed crazy. "Well, good to be on the strongest side, we are the strongest, right?" Drina asked as she looked at them all and sighed to that. She listened to them all lost in thoughts. "Interesting army but as long as we can win, I am cool" Drina said as she moved her hair out of her face.

Roman was just like Drina, as well as he was still inlove with her but that was besides the point. "Like Drins. I agree with all of you, or most of you" he said and sighed. Roman was ready for a fight as he  watched everything with a raised eyebrow, as he sighed. "Well count us in, as long as we are respected and get Ever and Damen to deal with, we are fine with that" he said and sighed to that. Roman and Drina exchanged looks and then they looked at the other people as they wondered if anyone would ever speak to them or would they speak to nothing, as it felt at that moment. "When do we fight anyway?" he asked over sudden as he looked at them all.

Shaggy held Scooby and paused at his words. He looked down realizing he'd shifted into a wolf without even knowing it. He couldn't control it at times especially when he was scared. Malachite had called it a defense mechanism but at least a charm of sorts had been placed on him that if he ended up wolfing out in public that normal people would see human Shaggy and not werewolf Shaggy.

"Yes. It's me Scooby. I ended up like this when I got here. But Facilier one of the leaders here made me his familiar. And I can be human now.Well some of the time. I just can't always control the changes." said Shaggy.

To demonstrate this he shifted back to his human form and smiled weakly at him.

"I'm glad your ok but I'm sorry you're here. I didn't want you or the rest of the gang involved in this war. I won't blame you if you want to go Scooby. I'm working with the bad guys but they're not all bad. And they've helped me. I can understand if you don't want to stay here. Sometimes I don't want to stay here either as some of the guys here are really creepy. I can make sure you're taken to Critic's house where you'd be safe but we wouldn't be able to see each other again." said Shaggy.

He knew Scooby had reluctantly accepted him last time but that was hope of him being human permanently. Now he went back and forth and the one thing he feared the most know was Scooby would hate him or fear him. And he'd rather get it over with now because he wasn't sure which was worse. Scooby being afraid of him or getting hurt because of him.

Malachite smiles at the new arrivals seeing the reunion of Shaggy and Scooby amongst the others.

"If any of you are hungry or thirsty or just want to rest we have plenty of room. You're also free to explore the place or talk to us if you wish. Just don't leave the area as we don't want the general public to know about us. Until we're ready." said Malachite.

He turned hearing Roman's question.

"There are two other armies led by Ask That Guy and Nostalgia Critic. Once we defeat the two armies we will kill or enslave the armies and then take over this world." said Malachite.

Icy nodded.

"So a primitive world that doesn't understand the finer points of power and magic. I can understand biding your time. And I can sense the power you have. I respect your judgement." said Icy.

Mim nodded.

"So can I. Perhaps we should exchange stories sometime. Teach each other magic and spells that we couldn't know in our old worlds. Would make usa ll stronger and give us something to do as well." said Mim.

Medusa and Jesse are silent as neither has anything to add.

Gabriel nodded as Icy and Mim said they could sense Malachite's power. He could with his empathic powers and knew he wasn't lying.

"Training does sound like fun. But perhaps for now I'd like to take up the offer for something to eat." said Gabriel.

[Scooby Doo]

Scooby's head cocked in interest as his best friend informed him of his form. Basically, Facilier turned him into this but made him his familiar so he could be human sometimes. Scooby beamed a bit as Shaggy returned to the form he was used to but was shocked to hear Shaggy offer him the chance to leave. That he was working with bad people but not all of them were bad. Yes, scooby was a bit fearful of this place and definitely didn't like the bad guys. But Olive was nice and Shaggy was here. Yes, he was a werewolf but scooby changed since the last time and knew that shaggy was still shaggy no matter what. Scooby shook his head "No way. Ry ram staying right rere. Ry ram your best friend. Reah, you're a werewolf but you're rill rhaggy. Ry ram gonna stay. Ry want to be with rou" Scooby hugged the man and licked his face many, many times "Ry ram your ruddy, forever"

He then turned to the suggestion of food and pulled shaggy with him "Food! Ret's rave food! Ry'm rungry!" He pulled the man, going to once again to the tradition of eating with his buddy.

Olive beamed as his father welcomed all the new arrivals "What my dad said. Please come in. There's plenty for everybody! Make yourself at home!" He nodded approvingly as many took the invitation, laughing as Scooby was pulling Shaggy in to eat "Wow, you got a really great pal, Shaggy. Look how excited he is!" Olive really liked Scooby already. He then blushed as he was complimented by Honest John and watched how his father would react. He then beamed at the asking of his name "Olive"

"Food? Shelter? You had me at that, good sir! So generous! No wonder you are the boss around here!" Honest John turned to Malachite. He immediately was going to join this fellow, not only because he wanted to make a good impression, he wanted his skin to be saved and to have something to eat. He shook hands with Malachite and saw Olive echo his words "A fine example you are making for your son. Oh what a fine little duo you are, absolutely delighted to be here! You must be so proud to have him and the boy has a wonderful man as a father. I'm touched" He turned to the boy "And what is your name, my fine boy?" He then beamed at the boy's response "Olive? Oh I love it, you know olives are some of my favorite foods"

The hyena undertaker was a bit behind everyone else. Or maybe he’d been hanging back somewhere, watching. Like he would ever admit to either.

Mif stepped out, approaching at a leisurely pace. On the inside though, he was wary about getting involved with such a large group, especially considering most of them were humans. In addition to this, he didn’t care too much about all this talk of war. While not a pacifist, Mif wasn’t a big fan of getting involved with conflict. Any conflict. Heck, even when Scar took the Pride Lands, he spent most of his time back at the Elephant Graveyard, tending to his catacombs. But if anyone could hide what he was feeling inside, it was Mif.

A yellowed smile was plastered on the chubby hyena’s face. He didn’t address anyone in particular. He wouldn’t until he got an idea of how they reacted to his appearance.

“Hey there friends,” he said, calm as calm could be, “Heard the word ‘food’ passed around. Couldn’t help but to be interested. Maybe that’s a bit stereotypical, but here I am.”

Drina watched them all and sighed to that. She wasn't in the mood for reunios because her ex husband wasn't on her side. Drina still believed that they belonged together no matter what. She was crazy but as far as she was concerned others were crazy but she wasn't. Drina liked the sound of food and drink, also she didn't need it especially since by luck a few boxes of the elixir showed up with her. The color and teste might sem odd to others but not her or Roman. Granted they might need to make more but it was fine by her. Drina looked at Roman and then at the others.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roman took one of the immortal elixier bottles and opened it as he sipped from it. He watched them all and sighed, as he was glad that he was there with Drina but like her he wanted revenge on the others for what they did to them and all. Roman liked the offer off food and drink even if he didn't really need it. When he asked the question he listened to the guy's reply and nodded in understanding. "Oh, that sounds delightful. Our kind off fun! We are in. Do you think those we always wanted to destroy are here too?"

Shaggy smiled at Scooby relieved to hear his words. He laughed as Scobby licked him.

"Okay I believe you. I didn't want you to go but I wanted you to be safe too." said Shaggy.

He grinned as Scooby pulled him along.

"Yeah. Let's get some food. I'm starving." said Shaggy.

He smiled and nodded hearing Olive speak.

"Yes. He is. He's my best friend. And I'm glad he's here." said Shaggy.

He turned to Scooby with a grin pulling himself away from Scooby.

" Last one to the kitchen's a rotten egg." said Shaggy.

He then laughed and took off running to the kitchen sure Scooby would chase after him.

Malachite watched amused as after the tender reunion Shaggy took off after challenging Scooby a race to the kitchen.

"If anyone wants any food you better come now. Or the kitchens will be empty pretty soon. Shaggy eats a lot already but with Scooby here too. We may have to make a few more trips to the grocery store." said Malachite.

Malachite glanced at his son and smiled.

"How are you doing my son?" asked Olive.

Malachite glanced at Honest John as he spoke.

"Glad to hear it. Welcome." said Malachite.

Malachite smiled.

"I'm proud of both of my sons and I'm very protective of them." said Malachite.

His smile faded as he walked closer to the fox.

"But if you try to hurt either of my sons like you did to the kids in the movie you came from you'll regret it. I won't have my children as puppets or donkeys for free labor. And that goes for any child in this army too. Are we clear?" said Malachite.

He turned to address the hyena and smiled.

"Yes we have food. If there's something you're not used to eating we make can make something for you. It may take awhile to cook though." said Malachite.

He then saw two other new arrivals and waved to them.

"Welcome." said Malachite.

With Malachite's warning Icy and Mim went off together the two witches talking about spells. Medusa followed behind them a bit hungry herself and not having much else to say to anyone.

Gabriel turned to Jesse.

"Come we should get something to eat." said Gabriel.

Jesse nodded following his master silently as they headed to the kitchens.

[Scooby Doo]

"Ry ram raying right rere. Ry ram your ruddy" Scooby repeated, making Shaggy know that Scooby didn't care about what happened to him. Or what Shaggy looked like. As long as the two were buddies, Scooby was safe as it was. He felt home with Shaggy. After all, he and the human had been together since Scooby was born. Scooby always knew Shaggy and there was no bond stronger than theirs. Scooby's ears perked up delightfully as Shaggy suggested a race to the kitchen. Ignoring the rest of the villains, he raced after Shaggy "Rait ror re!" He ran after the human, immediately feeling things were right in order.

Olive beamed at Shaggy "I'm glad he's here to Shaggy, for your sake" He then laughed as the pair raced into the house to the kitchen. He was about to follow the crowd when his father addressed him. Olive beamed at his father and replied kindly "I'm doing just fine, dad. You okay? I've been trying to train. I want to be the best for you and pop" Pop was Olive's name for facilier. Ever since the two developed a relationship, Facilier became more or less their second father. He then turned to Roman and Drina and saw the bottles. A eyebrow was raised but he still smiled for the pair "Whatever you both need, this army can provide for you. Try to make yourselves comfortable" He then noticed Honest John and saw his speech to his father. Although a bit weary now remembering the fox was from Pinnochio, the fox truly did seem sincere. And like most young boys, Olive was a bit trusting. Even after being neglected, abandoned and left alone, Olive still had some faith in people.

So he beamed to the fox and replied "Then we can be friends. If you truly changed, I believe we can make this work"

Honest John smiled brightly, pleased to see that Malachite's ego was boosted and he was welcomed. However Honest John froze as Malachite threatened him. John was well aware of the reputation he had here, word carried fast, especially when you got chased away. It was one he did have regret for. Although he earned a lot, it did cost him innocent lives. Honest John did have a consequence. He put his hand to his heart and replied solemnly "Oh I am very clear sir. I wouldn't dare dream of it" He patted the leader's shoulder and gave a soft sigh "You see good sir, I realized my sins and have changed myself for the better" Well it wasn't exactly a lie but it wasn't all true either. He did realize what he did was wrong but he still conned his way to life.

Honest John continued sincerely "I wouldn't dare dream of hurting any more children than I have. Believe me sir, you will not see a scratch on any of the little kiddies. I promise you, as Honest John, I have changed and will be the best behaved" He smiled to Olive "Especially to your sons" He then crossed his fingers in a X around his heart area "I swear on my mother's life" He then shook Olive's hand and replied enthusiastically as he was welcomed as a friend by Olive "Oh such a forgiving young soul you are, too kind! Too kind! I am grateful for your friendship!"

“Cook. Heh,” Mifupa chuckled to himself.

He’d watched a few humans on the savanna now and again, so he had an idea of what they liked to eat. Hell, he’d even steal food from humans if the opportunity arose. But he was still a wild hyena. Raw meat didn’t bother him in the slightest.

He padded inside, not making conversation with anyone. His head was held low, but his eyes occasionally darted. It’d be good to know where the exits are -- just in case. Mif wasn’t as trusting of humans as he was of other animals.

Nil had been with the army for a while, but she had yet to welcome anyone. She intended to keep it that way. The former racing rival wasn’t interested in making friends, or even getting too caught up in any of the conflict in general. This didn’t mean she wouldn’t watch. There was always the off chance a newcomer would catch her eye.

Nil observed from a distance, looking into the kitchen from another room. She removed a pack of cigarettes from her pocket, but didn’t light one yet.

Drina watched them and nodded to them, as she waved to them. She knew that she Roman might seem strange to the others but they were both used to it by now.  They didn't care for food or drink as the elixier was more than enough. Also, the color or the elixier was strange but they were rather used to that by now. All they needed for the past many years that they were alive was the elixier of immortality. Without it they wouldn't survive and won't have the abilities that thdy had.

"Thanks for the welcome. Also, we stand bere for a while but yes we are still new as we arrived today with the others. And it all sounds great! We will be glad to be part of that army as it is fun and we can get all that we want that way. Which works great for us." 

Drina listened to Roman as she nodded in agreement with what he said about them. When he was right he was right and now he definitely was right. Drina had no doubt about that at all. She could tell when he was right and when he was wrong, and now she could tell that he was right. Drina listened to him after they both listened to Olive.

"Yeah, as Roman here said. Food and drink for us is not needed but a bed and a lab with certain things would do great! So we could make more of the substence we drink. You could get some too once we make it but not sure if you would like the test but still. And yeah, those bottels got a unique juice for us and those like us! It is very testy for us and it helps us a lot too. It is complicated so"

Roman listened to drina and nodded in agreement. He agreed with her not just because he was still in love with her but because it was the truth what she said.


"As she said. Thank you for the welcome but we didn't arrive only now so! However, with everything it is no surprising you didn't see us or notice us. We are rather used to it. Also since we are a team we all should listen to each other and work together as it is the only way for us to win! Everything Drina here said was and is true,"

He looked between them all and sighed as he looked at Olive. Roman listened to him with Drina and sighed.  He looked at Drina and back at Olive.

"The bottles got our juice in it. It is a very good juice for us and those like us. It is a unique juice so! Not like the kind you must be used to. Thank you for the offer! We will use it. We need a bed room and a bed but no need food or drink so, as we are fine! We can't feel starvation or thirst. But we could use a lab and everything in it! To make more of this substence, as we are running out of it. It is very useful to us and give us abilities and make sure we don't get sick and such! We can make you some too if you want. We can make a lot of those so it will be enough for anyone who wants some! Just let us us know"

Roman said and listened as he was glad but not surprised that Drina agreed with him as it was the truth after all.  He looked at them all and sighed.

]Shaggy laughed making his way into the kitchen and started whipping up a couple sandwiches that were taller than his head.

"Ham goes on the bread. Then cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, and mustard. Then more ham. More cheese." said Shaggy.

He kept repeating his pattern making very tall sandwiches.

"Sandwiches for the both of us. Just like old times." said Shaggy.

Now finished he bit into his large sandwich enjoying himself.

Icy, Mim, Gabriel and Jesse followed them to the kitchens and grabbed their own food before Shaggy and Scooby ate it all.

"You two have the appetite of a troll and the manners." said Icy.

She chuckled eating a ham and cheese sandwich of her own as well as a glass of water. She saw Mim conjure the food and walked over to her.

"Could you teach me how to do that?" asked Icy.

Icy grinned pleased as Mim said she could teach her that.

Mim laughed seeing the extra large sandwiches and made some food for herself with magic not wanting just sandwiches. As she ate some steak and a glass of wie.

Mim grinned at Icy.

"Of course I can." said Mim.

She spotted the hyena come in and with a wave of her hand conjured a few steaks for him setting them in front of you.

"Would you like them raw or cooked?" asked Mim.

Jesse grabbed some food making a couple sandwiches for Gabriel and himself giving a couple to Gabriel waiting for him to start eating before he ate himself. He grabbed a couple Pepsis cans as well handing one to Gabriel

Gabriel was impressed Jesse got some food before he'd even asked. His bond with him was stronger than he thought thanks to his psinoic abilities. He ate the sandwiches Jesse gave him while occasionally sipping from his drink.

Malachite smiled at Olive.

"I'm glad you're doing ok son." said Malachite.

He glanced at Honest John.

"I hope you speak the truth. You hurt any children here or anyone in this army you will regret it." said Malachite.

He glanced at Drina and Roman.

"You are welcome to a lab. We don't have many scientists and doctors in this army so you may have to share space with them. If we wish a lab to yourself it might take awhile to make one." said Malachite.
