[That Chick With The Goggles]

Goggles was enjoying her time in Hawaii. It was only for a couple days but tonight some of the couples were going out leaving the kids to be watched by some of the others. It felt too long since she'd had a date with Spoony and tonight was going to be fun. She was dressed up a purple tanktop and blue jean shorts. They were a few luaus they could go to but also restaurants. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing and she knew they'd have fun no matter what they did. She left the girls cabin making her way over to the local hotel where they said they'd meet. She was nervous and excited as she saw she was the first to arrive but he could already be here and she couldn't see him. So she stood and waited for him outside the hotel.

Spoony was anticipating this break for this date alone. It had indeed been too long. The two were so focused on the war that they barely had time. Now that they did, Spoony was hellbent on giving Goggles the best time. Spoony went straight to the lobby. He made sure to appear at least nice enough to not look like a bum like he thought he normally did. He put on some nice body spray and had a black t-shirt with jean shorts. He had his long hair in a ponytail and turned to see goggles. He turned to her and replied teasingly "Excuse me, miss, I'm looking for the most beautiful girl in the world. Her name is goggles have you seen her?"

He then offered his hand and replied "You ready for a fun night?"

Goggles laughed as Spoony joined her.

"I think so. Let me go find her." said Goggles, playing along.

She smiled and took his hand.

"Yes. Let's go." said Goggles.

"Oh good" Spoony laughed as Goggles played along. He then took her hand and walked her outside. He then looked about and saw the local town. In said town there was a luau with a seafood restaurant nearby it. Spoony turned to her and replied "Hey maybe we can grab a bite to eat?" He then gave a flirtatious wink "Then we can have a little dance afterwards? Just for both of us?"

Goggles nodded.

"Food always sounds good to me." said Goggles.

She grinned at the mention of a dance.

"Sure. Maybe we could find a secluded part of the beach near the luau. Close enough to the hear the music but far enough we wouldn't be disturbed." said Goggles.

Spoony beamed at Goggle's approval for food and dancing. He then nodded "I'm sure there's some private areas for couples. I mean they have to in hawaii right?" He then held her hand some more as he lead her eventually to the seafood restaurant. After a small while, they eventually had a nice booth to sit in and their waiter came in. The waiter beamed "Hello, I'll be your waiter, can I start with drinks?"

"I'll try a pina colada, haven't really gotten a chance to order yet, thanks" Spoony replied. He then turned to await for Goggle's answer with what drink she choice.

Goggles nodded.

"They must have somewhere. If not we could always take some food to go and find a secluded part of the beach." said Goggles.

She smiled taking a seat in the booth as the waiter joined them.

"Could I have something fruity perhaps? I know Hawaii has a lot of good foods native to its island that are made into drinks like fruit. I'm sure you could think of something for me to try." said Goggles.

Spoony awaited for the waiter to finish with their drink orders. The waiter meanwhile beamed brightly at Goggles "Absolutely miss. I'll definitely think of a special surprise just for you. Give me a few minutes. Take your time with ordering" He then proceeded to leave to get their drinks. Spoony meanwhile smiled softly at Goggles and replied "Gotta say. It's really nice to finally be alone with you. I'm the luckiest man in the world"

Goggles smiled as the waiter said he'd surprise her.

"Thank you." said Goggles.

Then the waiter left her alone with Spoony as she glanced at the menu not sure what to get. She grinned looking up at Spoony.

"It's nice to be alone with you too. And I feel like the luckiest woman in the world. Who'd have thought a war would bring us together? Not that I'll ever thank that crazy scientist for starting this whole mess. But at least some good came out of it." said Goggles.

She glanced at the menu before back at Spoony again.

"Any idea what to eat?" asked Goggles.

Spoony pondered just a little as Goggles rightfully pointed out that the war gave them the closure they needed. Plus the experiences they had. Spoony couldn't help but laugh slightly "Yeah one has to wonder how the heck a war could manage bringing new friends and bring us together. I'm grateful I'm with you but no way am I gonna boost Insano's ego" He was then looking at the menu, seeing all the options. He turned to Goggles and then replied "Well I kind of like the shrimp casserole option with pineapples. Sounds weird but interesting" He then turned to goggles to see her reaction

Goggles chuckled.

"I doubt it could be boosted any higher. The guy's insane." said Goggles.

Goggles grinned.

"Sounds good. Guess I can always take the pineapples out and eat them separate if it tastes too weird together." Said Goggles.

[Spoony]

"Well it IS in his name that he's insane, so it's a given" Spoony chuckled to her before smiling as goggles chose the same order he did. He then replied "Alright well when he comes back we'll get two orders of those. Sounds good to me" He then held her hand and replied softly to her "I'm glad it's the two of us. I think we needed something like this" It was true. Spoony felt they needed some time together. He made the mistake of losing her before, he was going to do everything to not let that happen again.

Goggles chuckled.

"I suppose that's true." Said Goggles.

Goggles nodded.

"Sounds good to me." said Goggles.

Goggles grinned.

"Yes. I think we maybe need to do something not just for us but for all the couples. I mean all training and no fun will wear all of us out. And this war's been going on for months now. What if it goes on for longer?" said Goggles.

Spoony listened to goggles mention other couples and he then pondered "Hm. I should get critic and Linkara on that with me. I mean I'm second in command so I can pretty much convince critic to do something like that. Or at least make date schedules for everyone or something. You got a great point goggles" He then noticed the waiter come back and replied "Hey man. We will take two orders of your shrimp casserole with pineapples"

The waiter nodded "Excellent choice. Here are your drinks and I'll be back with your meals shortly" He gave them both the drinks then left once more to get their food. Spoony drank some of his drink and nodded interestedly.

Goggles nodded.

"We could always do group dates like double or triple too once and awhile. We may not always have time to have private dates out." said Goggles.

Goggles smiled as Spoony made an order as the waiter brought them drinks and left to get the orders.

"Well the service here so far is quite good." said Goggles.

She grinned and took a sip from her drink.
