Sydney walked around the place lost in thoughts, as she tried to get to know the new place she ended up at, the day before. She looked around herself as she walked and sighed to that, lost in thoughts. Sydney missed her home and her family, as she hoped to see them again soon. For the time being, she tried to get used to a place where she hasn't met anyone yet. She hoped that eventually, she would, as Sydney wanted to know where she was, how she even got there and a question most important than any other, how to get back. She refused to give up until she got the answers no matter what. Sydney looked around, as she shook her head from her thoughts as she saw no one around, as she began to worry that she might actually be alone there, but she hoped that it wasn't the case.
A gentle voice reverberated through the mild spring air, its presence incongruous in the calm Chicago suburb. Under normal circumstances her mind would've wandered off to more rational conclusions, usually finding some way or another to describe the intricacies of delicate reality. Instead, she was left aghast; at a complete loss for words. Her mind couldn't even begin to fathom the scenario she had been thrown into, trying desperately to make sense of it -- yet her mind fell short. She couldn't even postulate a feeble hypothesis.
Trying her best to distract herself from her distraught mindset, Phoebe continued to amble through the streets, eyes peeled for any familiar faces. The only thing she could make out in the distance was a feminine figure, an unfamiliar but a relieving sight nonetheless. Hesitant, she walked toward the woman, working up the courage to speak to this stranger that seemed to be equally confused as she was. "Pardon me, miss?" she began, attempting to quell the anxieties in her mind. "I know this may sound a little...unorthodox, but could you tell me..." she trailed off, realizing how bizarre her inquiry was. "But can you tell me where I am exactly?"
Sydney looked around confused and sighed. When she saw a young girl. She watched her with curiosity and sighed to that. Sydney was confused why the girl looked like a cartoon, which made her wonder even more where did she possibly ended up at. "I would tell you, but I don't know either," she said to her. "Wait, are you are saying that you are not from around here either? Does it means we are both new here?" Sydney added, surprised. Alright, that meant that they were both in the same boat, which didn't make things any better, that much she knew for sure. "Did you arrive today or yesterday?"Sydney asked a minute later, just to know for sure, even so, she was worried about the answer, she still wanted to know what would it be. As it was still important, at least as far as she was concerned because, that way maybe, just maybe, they could work together to find out where they were and how they got there, as well as how to get back home. Two people were better than one, as well as safer, no matter what. Besides if needed, Sydney could protect both and on the off chance that the other person was the one behind it, then she could deal with that as well.
Also. Sydney hoped that it wouldn't come to that, but since she had no idea for sure, she had to be as careful as possible, which was exactly what she did. However, somehow she doubted that it would come to that. In fact, Sydney completely doubted that it would ever come to that, as the young girl/ woman didn't seem like a bad person, no matter how careful Sydney was. Anyway, at the moment she tried not to think of that, and instead she thought of better thoughts. "Would you like to explore the place together? Who knows what dangers are there after all. Which means, whether we like that or not, two are always better than one" Sydney said, as she looked down and back at her. Besides they were on their own, so that was way better than anything else, that much she was sure about.
Phoebe blinked, her eyes offering a hesitant look. "I-I guess so," she trailed, her free hand suddenly tugging at the end of her opposing sleeve, anxiety slowly taking hold of her psyche. "I'm from Hillwood. Hillwood, Washington," the girl spoke with struggling confidence, blinking slowly as she looked at Sydney. She was preparing to retort to her last question, only to be disrupted by Sydney herself.
She posited a gentle question. A harmless inquiry, in all truth. "Oh, if you don't mind..." she trailed, her own skepticism getting the better of her as she observed the woman. Truly, she didn't look dangerous in the least, but one couldn't be too careful in this shaky realm of whimsy and mystery. "By the looks of it it appears that we're in some sort of outer-city neighborhood -- Chicago or New York City, perhaps?" she postulated, fidgeting with her glasses while she spoke. Hopefully this woman was on the same wavelength as her. Hopefully.

Elisa heard voices as she walked out spotting a woman and a young girl. Hearing they were from another place.
"Hello. I'm Elisa. Welcome. This may sound strange or crazy to you but many people have been pulled from other worlds to fight in a war. A war with three armies. This is the army of heroes. Well, mostly heroes. If you don't want to fight you can come here to just have a safe place to live and eat and rest." Said Elisa.
XXXX
Mrs. Potts walked out spying the group.
"Hello. I'm Angela Potts. Welcome." said Mrs. Potts.
She heard Elisa and nodded.
"She's right. I don't fight in the war. I'm one of the medics and cooks in the army. So you can help in other ways if you don't wish to fight." said Mrs. Potts.
Sydney watched her and sighed. She then listened to her as she looked down and back at her. "Then it means we are both new bere. SO we need to try to figure it all out together" Sydney said to her. She looked around and back at her. Sydney in away understood how the other one felt as she felt the same way. Kind off. Sydney hated the situation but new that for the time being they had to deal with it. She listened to what she said next as she was rather confused by that. "Hill what? In Washington? Really? I never heard of it before I live by the beach somewhere. It definitely sounds like we live in different places and worlds as well" Sydney said to her and sighed. She looked down and back at her. "I suppose you coukd say I live in San Fransisco California" Sydney added a minute later. She missed her family and friends but for now she had to accept things the way they were which was what she did, even if she definitely wasn't happy about it.
Sydney listened to her after she spoke again, as she shook her head to that. "I don't mind. It is usually safer in numbers than alone in situations like that" she said. Sydney meant every word that she said. Sure she could defend herself but she was human and she knew that in cases like that two were better than one. Besides a person usually got attacked by shaddy bad people when alone and Sydney knew that all too well and it was what she tried to avoid at all cost, no matter what. She listend to what she said next as she looked around and back at her. "You are right, it really does. I am not totally sure about New York though, which means Chicago perhaps! I have visited both in my home, so if in some ways it's a like. Then I think we must be in Chicago but I could be wrong, eve if I doubt that I am wrong about it" Sydney said to her. "If you were my student then for this answer alone I would have gicen you an A, though" she added with a smile, as it was indeed the truth. Sydeny looked around and back at her with a smile. She was impressed with her as the young girl/woman seemed smarter beyond her years which was impressive. "How old are you by the way? As you remind me of a college student with your knowladge, rather then a middle school or high school student. Which is a compliment trust me" Sydney said as she meant it.
She was about to say something else when she heard another voice not to far away. Sydney watched her closely as she looked at Phoebe and back at the other person, as she made sure that. Neither of them was in any kind of danger. As in not her nor Phoebe. As Sydney planned to protect both unless she saw no reason to and so far it wasn't the case at all. She did however listen to the other person, just the same."What?Excuse me?! What did you just say?" Sydney asked even so, she did head the person but she wasn't sure whether she heard her right or not. She was very confused by all of it, there was no doubt there at all. "We were pulled here to join one of the armies for war? Are you kidding me? Why and what war exactly?" Sydney asked still as confused as before if not more than that. She looked down and back at her. "If it for survival and going home, as they as protect those who can't protect themself then you got me in your army. I will fight" Sydney said simply, which was true.
She looked at the other person and nodded, as she listened to that person. "I am Sydney and thanks for the welcome" Sydney said. "I see. Well, I will fight in this war if it's the kind of war I mentined earlier! Also, lately I am more a teacher than anything else but I still remember how to fight do" she said and sighed, as she looked between the two. Sydney then looked at Phoebe and after that, she looked over at the others and sighed to that. She wondered what would the others do or say next, as she watched them all.

"Well now. Looks like we have tons of people here" Natalie said interestedly. She turned to the young child, seeing a lot of herself in the child for a strange reason, and felt pity. Natalie turned to the child, while Mrs. Potts and Elisa seemed focused on Sydney "Hi there young lady, I'm Natalie. I'm sure Mrs. Potts explained but you're with the good guys of a three army war. Ask Thatguy, a evil man, made his friend Dr. Insano tranport you here" She turned to sydney and replied to some of her questions "It is to help prevent someone taking over the world and send you home" XXXX
Ninja sensei came over to the child as well. But not before turning to Sydney "Hello, I am Ninja sensei and this is my friend Natalie. I am assuming Elisa and Mrs. Potts introduced themselves to you. You are welcome here and there is plenty for you to eat" She then turned to Phoebe and replied "My dear, are you hungry? It is good that you found us. I assure you we will make sure you are taken care of"
