((April 11th. Afternoon. Open. General intro thread if anyone needs an intro))

The female cobra was not happy at all. She was feeling slightly sluggish. It wasn't quite as warm as she was used to. Nagaina would have been happier if it had been spring or summer so her cold blood could be a little warmer. However, it hardly would have helped the thoroughly confused snake with her current mood. Nagaina was on edge. The last thing she knew, she was fleeing down her tunnel home and Rikki Tikki, the mongoose, managed to catch and kill her; effectively completing his genocide on her family. Yet, here she was, in a forest she did not recognize.

Nagaina slithered low in the grass, almost hidden in the shadows. She stopped after a while and curled up a bit. Resting her head on her coils, her green eyes gazed out, extremely alert. A sound met her ears. Hissing, Nagaina reared up. The big black snake lifted her head and spread her hood, spitting in threat.

"Step no closer. If I bite you, you die," she rasped.

Panini was lost. That was for sure as heck certain. The young pink rabbit knew this was not her home. And that she was lost. So what better way to not get lost than to find someone? She stepped on a loud leaf but before she went on her happy way, a snake reared up, hissing and angry. Panini immediately was on edge, the last thing she wanted to do was anger a angry killer.

"Okay. I won't move. I promise. Maybe we can try to get to know each other?" She was nervous but her smile was sunshiney, to appear friendly.

"Oy, love, let's not kill anybody" Mungojerrie normally would stay away but kids were something both he and his sister agreed on. They both liked them. Mungojerrie would talk his way out of it but rumpleteaser would probably attack the snake. The mere thought of his sister made him miss her all the more. He shook his head, going to take Panini away from the snake "Look love we just want to pass by. We wont bother ya. Hey, are you lost too? We can maybe get you someplace safe?"
