Where is this character from? Scooby Doo And The Witch's Ghost
Why did you pick him/her?: He's one of my favorite villains. And well he's voiced by Tim Curry. So that's even better.

Personality: evil, powerful, sorceror, manipulative
History:
Ben Ravencroft is a horror writer and Velma was a fan of his. He showed up helping them solve a mystery which was later revealed he staged to get them to come help him. He took them back to his home town and learned it had been turned into a tourist attraction cause of witch sightings. He helped the gang solve the mystery that the town was making it up to bring in tourists. However Scooby helped him find the spellbook he was looking for having told everyone it was Sarah's journal that could prove she was a wican. She was really a witch and Ben cast a spell to give him powers as well. They tried to stop him and stole the book. But he got it back and freed his ancestor. She wanted to destroy the world while he wanted to rule it. She trapped him in a green bubble and attacked the Mystery Inc. gang and the Hex Girls. They stole the book and she trapped most of the group except for Velma and Thorn. Thorn cast the spell trapping her back into the book. She pulled Ben along with her. He was pulled out of their into another world as the book was burning saving his life. He joined Ask That Guy's army wanting revenge on Mystery Inc. and to help take over this universe.
Allies: Ask That Guy's Army.
Enemies: Shaggy; Daphne; Velma; Fred; Scooby; The Hex Girls; Critic's Army; Facilier's Army.
Plans: reunite with mystery inc and befriend phantom virus.
