Training Time

[Yellow Lantern Chuckles]

(ooc: March 21st. Afternoon. Training thread.)

Dar frowned as he made his way into the woods escorted by robotic soldiers made by Smith and the others. He was silent dressed only in a pair of red shorts and sandals as he carried his white staff. He began twirling it around while practicing. He wondered if he'd have an opponent or not.

Chuckles flew in using his ring and grinned. He hadn't been able to do much since freeing Mechakara and the others. Now another training session was scheduled and he felt this could be fun. He didn't want to get rusty on his powers after all. He decided not to fight dar and used his ring to shoot at the targets set up.

Cassidy walked out next carrying a sword. She did have her own Pokemon but she had been trained to fight at Team Rocket headquarters. But she was a bit rusty and she wanted to prepare for anything. After all if someone found a way to steal her Pokemon or block them from coming out of their Pokeballs then she'd be defenseless. So she had to prepare on a way to protect herself if necessary.

Scar walked out slowly getting used to walking on two legs. It was still awkward but he was managing. He came here to train how to fight as he wasn't sure how long this spell would be. And he would not just cower in the house waiting for a cure. At least by training he felt like he was doing something.

Dr. Smith and Dr. Insuedo both arrived. They'd set up the targets and training field earlier. They'd taken a break from making inventions and decided they needed to train some as well. While both still felt science could solve any problem it didn't help if their gadgets were destroyed or disabled. So they both held swords while keeping laser guns handy as a backup. Both pulled out their laser guns and started firing at the tagets while waiting for others to arrive.

[General Zod]

Zod admittedly felt like he hadn't been around at all. Probably because he had been keeping a low profile away from Mechakara. Now that he was back, and away from him still, things were less focused on the robot and his family's rescue and more on everything else. He decided to start training with anyone who seemed worthy of a confrontation. He turned to look and saw many choice opponents. He looked to see Chuckles and nodded, seemingly satisfied. Mostly because a jester looked easy to destroy.

"Greetings jester. Would you like a confrontation with yours truly?"

"Oy you!" Rumpleteaser was of course referring to scar. Despite his human appearance, he had the scent of a feline. She wasn't entirely dumb to the situation and so could tell that plenty were not what they were supposed to be. She was quick to go for him, since he seemed the most familiar to her out of all. She quickly sniffed him before responding "You were a cat before this transformation kerbunkle rite?" Her cockney accent was evident here through and through.

"Sorry that happened to ya. I'd hate to see the rest of them"

Loki meanwhile was evidently careful and used to his situation. La and he thankfully didn't have a species change to keep them apart, yet he wasn't very glad he didn't have his powers, or most of his powers. The god swished his tail curiously, the needing to train was more important to him than most. He sniffed and eventually caught his eye on dar. He grinned, Lord vyce spoke that this human was his and loki wanted to play with someone else's toy. Mostly because he felt very bored.

The panther growled with curiousness, prowling up to dar. The robots turned ready to defend but they immediately stood down remembering Loki. The panther ignored them and went to the human. "Well there. You seem to be missing a opponent of some kind"

"Yo, science guys" Sage said in delighted greeting. Frankly he was absolutely relieved all this obsession with finding Insano and company was over. Sure the transformation was a bummer but sage was unaffected. He was glad insano and most of the important members seemed to be unaffected too. Dark Nella was much more pleasant and less stressed about it, yet her stressed behavior continued with this crap. Sage decided to let her have cool air and have himself some fun. Besides, his master wanted him to be useful anyway.

"How's about some training? Eh? Eh? Let's have some. It'll get our mind off things" He replied cheerfully

[Dar/Beastmaster]

Chuckles looked up as Zod and grinned.

"Alright. I am a yellow lantern so I have plenty of powers. I guess you make sure you deflect them with your sword. I'll make sure my attacks aren't too harmful but this is training. So your other opponents won't hold back." said Chuckles.

He then started firing energy beams from his ring aiming them at Zod.

Scar turned seeing what looked like a hybrid between a cat and a human walk towards him.

"Hello. Yes. I used to be a lion. Although not like you. Why do you look human and catlike? Did you get cursed as well?" said Scar.

Dar paused seeing the panther walked up to him. He hadn't expected to fight an animal. He was used to fighting mostly humans but he knew he didn't have a choice. Not as long as Vyce was his master.

"I am but I don't want to fight you. I'm the Beastmaster in my world. I'm supposed to protect animals and communicate with them. Not hurt them. But I know don't have a choice so I'll try to go easy on you." said Dar.

He knew Loki was one of the people who'd been turned into an animal but while he had his animal form Dar would try not to harm him too badly. His respect for animals even a temporarily animal was too great.

Dr. Insuedo and Dr. Smith both looked up seeing Sage and grinned.

"I suppose so. Are you sure you want to train with both of us? That does give us an unfair advantage. This is just training after all." said Insuedo.

Smith chuckled.

"If he wants to fight both of us we might as well let him. It's his choice after all." said Smith.

[General Zod]

"I can deflect them easily with my weapon. Don't worry" Zod was a little arrogant with the lantern. He didn't take the jester too seriously. Yet as he began fighting, Zod got slightly spooked and immediately began defending himself. He used the sword and tried to get closer to Chuckles

"Nah! The boss, Ask Thatguy or somethin', told me that I come from a show or somethin'. Where I come from, I'm not considered really that different. I'm just a cat there. But I can see why I look different" Rumpleteaser politely replied. She looked him up and down incredibly curiously. She beamed and replied "Wanna try and train? It could be fun!"

"There are enemy animals on each side that you will have to fight. Besides, I understand your compassion and will not be offended if you fight me. Seeing you are very invested with animal creatures, even ones who have been humans previously. Do not be too easy on me" Loki said, trying to be patient. Unlike La and many others, Loki wasn't too interested in being mean. He was just amused with Dar at best, unempathetic at worst. He wouldn't be cruel, but he wasn't going to be incredibly friendly if Dar kept this whole "nice to animals" crap.

The panther then came closer but didn't attack quite yet. He wanted to inspect Dar first and get ready. The panther leaned into a fighting stance, baring his teeth playfully.

"Oh come on. I'm not that fragile. I got a sword. I'm good!" Sage insisted. He could handle science. Magic was harder but science was easy to deal with. Sage handled his sword and grinned at the two scientists "Come on. I can take it! Do your worst to me!"

[Dr. Zachary Smith]

Chuckles grinned at him.

"Alright. But don't say I didn't warn you." said Chuckles.

He had to admit Zod was more of a fighter than he expected him to be. And he was dodging or deflecting his blasts pretty good. He was nervous though as he saw Zod try to get closer to him.

"So trying to get closer huh? Not bad." said Chuckles.

He grinned as his ring glowed a bit as he flew into the air.

"Now see if you can try to catch me." said Chuckles.

He giggled as he flew towards Zod firing energy blasts at him.

Scar listened to her curious.

"I see. So more cats look like you where you're from. How very interesting." said Scar.

He nodded reluctantly.

"Just go easy on me. I'm still trying to get used to being on two legs and using my hands with weapons. So I don't know how good I'll do at this training." said Scar.

Dar frowned at that realizing he was right.

"I know but I think I'd mostly fight humans if possible. I can fight animals if I have to but I'd prefer not to." said Dar.

Dar nodded to him.

"Alright. I'll do my best. All I ask is for you to attack my arms or my legs. I lose a little blood I'll be fine. But attacking my chest or my face you could do some damage that I might end up recovering for awhile for. And I won't be good to the army stuck in a bed recovering for days, weeks or months after all." said Dar.

He then spun his staff and charged reluctantly at Loki.

Insuedo nodded.

"Alright then we'll do it. Smith is right. You did ask for it." said Insuedo.

Smith grinned and smirked at Sage's words.

"Our worst huh?" asked Smith.

They both chuckled and started firing their lasers at him.
