Quote: "Whether for the Devine or demonic, you're still a monster in the end"
Name: Alucard(Also known as Dracula, Vlad Tempes III, Vlad the Impaler but he doesn't go by any of these names anymore)
Age: Unknown exact age. Immortal, supposedly 500 plus years old.
Where is this character from?: Hellsing Ultimate OVA
Why did you pick him/her?: Because he's a really interesting, awesome character. Plus he has a lot of abilities that can/should be incredibly useful.
Picture: Usual Form(Red long coat, ruffled yet somewhat short black hair):
"Level 1" AKA Battle Form(Long black hair, usually seen in leather one-piece with loose belts):
Personality: Alucard is what many consider to be a monster incarnated into a human form. He's sadistic, cruel, cunning, blood-hungry(Quite literally since he's a vampire), egotistical, demanding, stubborn, savage and murderous. He is not regretful of murder or the horrors he has committed, claiming he does not harm those who are not deserving of it. Even Alucard is aware of these traits of his and doesn't deny them but does not do anything to change himself, mostly because of self-awareness and pride. Despite his pride, he can actually be very humble/submissive in certain situations and does respect those he feels are worthy of said respect. Despite being a egotistical savage, he wishes to have a challenge against him and constantly wishes for someone, particularly a human, to be determined enough to try and stop him. This is mostly because of a deep inner self-hatred that nobody sees and a large desire for some interesting things to happen, his age and lack of challengers that stand against him causes him to actually be quite lax about his condition and even possibly bored with his existence. However, until the challenge comes, he has full intentions of living as long as his own vampiric self and determination allows it. Despite his boredom, he is incredibly interested with his undead life and the world around him, even if it means being a vampire hunter/servant to a human. He does not stand murder that does not have a purpose, he believes people only die when they deserve it, and so does not approve of sadistic torture/death when it is someone innocent or useless, this is why he hates plenty of vampires and has no hesitation killing many for he believes that the vampires he's against are self-absorbed fools who kill for the sake of it. He only believes "true" vampires and "true" people who are not idiotic, cowardly, falsely arrogant deserve to live. His own feelings for the world's work and how people deserve to live is admittedly complicated but it is mostly a belief that those with courage, determination, self-respect and good-will whether a human or something else will deserve to stay alive.
Although he has many sadistic, negative traits he does have plenty of good ones. He is very respectful and kind to those he feels deserves it and has a human-like sense of compassion, concern, loyalty and good-will. He may believe he is above humanity but he does not look down on humans because of it, in fact he believes humans are the most fascinating creatures out of all creatures. He is undyingly loyal to his superiors and does everything to protect those he cares most about. He does not hesitate or disobey unless absolutely, completely needed. He is also one to have a good sense of humor, making smug, quick comments to his enemies and sometimes allies. He can be sarcastic and dry, having a very intelligent wit and common sense. Speaking of intelligence, he has a lot of it, he's incredibly smart, stealthy and quick to making decisions. He does not lose his head unless of certain situations demanding it, such as cowardly deaths, harming one's he cares about, pointless death, people giving up their humanity simply to be more powerful or monstrous. He's incredibly calm, collected and pleasant despite many signs of sadism, cruelty and egotism.
History: Alucard was born as Vlad Tempes III. When he was young, his parents regretfully sold him and his older brother to be peace offerings to the ottoman turks. Many unspeakable abuses were thrown upon the young Vlad thanks to the Turks but when he became a teenager, he escaped and made his own little empire around the Romanian area. Years passed and he became the supreme leader of this empire he himself created, so he declared war against the Turks. He was unfortunately unsuccessful and was sentenced to beheadment, however by drinking some blood lying on the floor of his execution area, he somehow became a vampire. More time passed and despite rumored to be dead, Vlad actually was not and became a vampire many knew as Dracula. His story as Dracula is well-known and written but what many people don't know is that Van Hellsing actually captured Dracula instead of kill him, saying he was a weapon that could be incredibly useful. Van Hellsing enslaved him and made him a servant to a organization he himself made, a organization that took down all threats whether vampiric or not. Dracula's name was changed to Alucard by Van Hellsing's son Arthur and despite using the vampire, Arthur feared he was too good of a weapon and locked him away into a basement in his mansion for many years.
Arthur Hellsing eventually had a daughter named Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, and he loved her so much that despite being only 12 made her the heir to the Hellsing Organization. His brother was absolutely enraged and saw the need to kill Intergra, for he wanted to be heir to the organization. The girl quickly ran, hid in the air ducts and went to the basement Alucard was held in. Her uncle shot her through the arm and her blood landed on the floor of the vampire's imprisonment. Alucard came back, enjoyed the blood before going over and confronting Integra, seeing what she would do. Integra's reaction surprised and pleased him, she claimed she'd rather die than become a vampire and demanded Alucard to not even bother trying to kill her. As a result, he felt much more committed and interested with the young girl and apologized for scaring her, protecting her from another blast of her uncle's gun and allowed her to kill him. He became her undyingly loyal servant since and still considers himself to only completely obey her to this very day. He eventually met a young woman named Seras Victoria who was a police woman sent to a call of attacks on a certain city. She was captured by the vampire priest responsible and he was forced to shoot her through in order to shoot him through the heart. In a last ditch effort, he offered to turn her and she agreed. Seras then became Alucard's own subordinate and despite many shortcomings, the two became quite close. Alucard's last mission involved survivors of Millennium a Nazi organization from WWII that made fake vampires, all leaded by the Major. The Major wanted a war and Alucard, with hellsing organization, went to search for all members and the result was a chaotic, violent little attack. He also had to deal with his rival/nemesis Alexander Anderson, a member of Iscariot(A group of catholic extremists who were enemies of Hellsing due to them being protestant). Although he defeated all of his enemies, it came with prices. One was Alexander used the Nail of Helena to make himself "God's Monster", which angered Alucard due to seeing Anderson as the one to defeat him and wanting him to keep his humanity to do it(For alucard believes only humans can kill monsters), and he drank Shrodinger's blood who was a young cat-like boy who had the ability of complete self-awareness. He disappeared for 30 years just to get rid of all the souls losing themselves due to shrodingers blood, his vampiric self apparently carried plenty of souls he ate, a total of at least 3 million. He has returned and still has plenty of his powers and is still a very powerful vampire, but he cannot have too many familiars or have armies of undead anymore. Yet he is now immortal, despite his previous belief he wasn't, and has the ability to be anywhere yet no-where. He returned to Hellsing Organization and has not left.
Until now. Hellsing Organization, Integra particularly, suspected supernatural activity far beyond those of her power and ordered Alucard to search it and if evil, put a end to it. Alucard obeyed and used his skills to come here. He is incredibly loyal to Intergra but he found Facilier's army and was incredibly interested with them. Seeing them as actual humans with powers, he saw them as still human and was interested in what they were about. As such, he is not completely loyal to Facilier but he has no intention of betraying anyone until he knows the complete and utter story. His orders were to search the answer, and that is his mission now. If he needs to kill, well, that's the way it is.
His Abilities Are As Follows: Shapeshifting, Mind-reading/telepathy, illusion breaking, telekinesis, hynosis, regeneration/quick healing, summoning familiars, sharp-shooting/quick attacks, speed, manipulation, super-strength, super-senses, high tolerance of day-light, creation of vampires, memory taking, omnipresence(The awareness of everything and nothing), incredible combat, and teleportation
Allies: Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, Seras Victoria, Walter(formerly), Facilier's army
Enemies: Alexander Anderson, Walter, The Major, Ask Thatguy's Army, Nostalgia Critic's Army
Plans: Become friends with Mystomon, make someone a vampire, discover nostalgia critic's army/ask that guy's, maybe become a spy. Have a rival definitely.
Sample Post(First character needed others are entirely up to you): The scent of human blood was overwhelming, yet he had enough experience to keep himself collected. He had a job to do. That was to become friends with these people and probably get answers. Integra, his beloved master, was depending on it. The man's red eyes scoured the house, for it was late and everyone currently but him was asleep. Understandable. He slept whenever he wanted due to his somewhat recent ability to deal with sunlight. He had to thank Van Hellsing for that at least, despite his talk of god he used quite a lot of pagan magic. Hmph. If I didn't know any better, Integra's grandfather was a hypocrite Alucard thought with a self-absorbed grin. He looked and saw a wild deer out there. He shrugged. He had to eat animal blood before, he could do so again. Besides, if he didn't eat something, he'd eat someone.
