Personality: Darby is very open, friendly, feisty, sarcastic and energetic. She's very hyper, excitable, passionate and quick-witted. Darby is also quite naïve and easy to forgive, to the point of being assumed as not as intelligent as she should be. However she is intelligent and incredibly useful when it comes to word-play. She's not afraid with what to say and tends to get herself out of situations with her determination and energy. She is rather happy-go-lucky but she certainly is aware of other problems. She's unafraid of most things except hurting others and harming others related to her mishaps. She's also incredibly mischievous, curious and adventurous. Darby is very child-like, kind, pleasant and easy to get along with also. She is also extremely eccentric, incredibly determined to be herself despite her odd ways, and is incredibly passionate/obsessed/loyal to her profession as a reporter. She's also incredibly loving and caring over her stuffed animal Spot, who always apparently brings her good luck, assistance and support.
History: Darby was born in Brooklyn many years after her cousin Jenny. The two did grow up together until Darby was forced to move to Chicago, her parent reluctant but only doing so for better job opportunity. As the years passed, Darby grew interested with becoming a reporter for the news, seeing how quick and easy it was to spread awareness of causes to either assist or prevent criminals or the like getting away with the crime. Despite her mother's worry, Darby convinced her and her easy-going dad to allow her to choose this profession. She was a reporter for her school paper for many years and does indeed plan to be a reporter for the daily news in Chicago when she is old enough. She loves the life of news reporting, feeling it to be her destiny and only choice for living. Her cousin Jenny arrived not to long after her second-third year in high-school and the two were close, despite Jenny's obvious change in personality. Darby not too long after met Ninja Sensei and IHeart through her cousin and also helped save/meet Natalie with her assistant robot Angel. The six girls were a good team since, with her being the technical sidekick of the group. Then as a war broke out, Jenny saw IHeart go and went along to help her, following her cousin's example Darby followed Jenny(With Spot in tow) and is now part of the war.
