“Just embrace the fact that you are lucky enough to be a happily married man. I mean, I’m actually jealous of you. You’ve got stability, a great marriage, devoted kids. You know what I have? A Sims family that keeps getting murdered.”
Name: Elizabeth "Liz" Miervaldis Lemon
Age: 41
Where is this character from?: 30 Rock
Why did you pick him/her?: Likewise with Dipper, she is my spirit animal.
Personality
Charming, graceful, lady like, those are all perfect antonyms to describe Miss Lemon. Okay, perhaps she is alluring in her own quirky, nerdy way-however, Liz is certainly not the ideal poster woman. Driven, career-oriented and dedicated, sometimes she's so absorbed in her work that some question whether she has a life outside of catering to her show. Truth is, she essentially doesn't. Her social and romantic life are quite pathetic to onlookers, a flaw that doesn't influence her greatly. Sure, she's had a few interesting lovers here and there, but the brunette is just as-if not more content to spend her weekends just sitting at home in front of television and binge eating snacks.
Interestingly, Liz's most upfront traits are characteristics that most women try to suppress. Her immense love of food, plain choice of wardrobe and overall eccentric personality can seem pathetic to some, but she doesn't care. There are times where she wished she was less clumsy, or better at talking to men, (Or people in general) but in all Liz is comfortable in her own skin and isn't willing to sacrifice who she is to make people happy. Usually, her neurotic nature does make her prone to insecurity from time to time.
To compensate for her occasional awkwardness, Lemon is a brilliant writer and an intelligent woman with a sharp, witty sense of humor...if only that wit translated smoothly when it came to facial interaction.
In short, she's a geek.
History
Liz Lemon was born on October 14th, 1970 in White Haven, Pennsylvania as the second child to Dick and Margaret Lemon. As far as she could recall, Liz had always been awkward in the arena of social interaction. She was never the popular girl that was the apple of every boy's eye. She was just the plain, awkward yet well meaning kid with a wry sense of humor. Or so she believed that's what she believed until a recent high school reunion revealed her to be the universally loathed school bully.

Lemon later attended the University of Maryland following graduation, and later spent her junior year abroad in Germany. Following her return to the States she met and befriended aspiring star, Jenna Maroney and they lived together in Chicago for a few years. While in the windy city, the duo created a project series called The Girlie Show with Liz writing the skits and Jenna as the star. The show was eventually picked up by NBC and the two friends moved to New York City.
Sure, The Girlie Show wasn't the best skit show out there but at least it got views and that was enough to keep both women happy. In 2006, Liz's old boss, Gary had passed away thus was replaced by the new Vice President of East Coast Television and Microwave Oven Programming; Jack Donaghy. Due to changes that Jack wanted to impose on the show (Including hiring wacky actor Tracy Jordan as the show's new star and adding his name to the show title) In spite of their initially rocky relationship with Jack, he took Liz under his wing as her mentor and they began to bond, ultimately forming a strong sibling like bond.
Then she woke up back in Chicago one odd day.
Allies: Criss Chros (boyfriend), Jack Donaghy (mentor/boss/best friend), Jenna Maroney, Tracy Jordan, Pete Hornberger, Kenneth Parcell
Enemies: None specifically; though she certainly does have a few.
Plans: She's probably going to remain neutral for a while, I don't know if she could be any real asset to the war/conflict just yet. Also I would love for her to have a friendship with the Chick.
Sample Post(First character needed others are entirely up to you):
"It's okay Liz, everything will be alright. You're used to this kind of stuff anyway you idiot. Everything will just be peachy." The brunette chanted her mantra mentally as she went about making sure that all fell into place for tonight's show. Was Jenna throwing another fit about her talent not being utilized to it's full potential? Yep. Had Tracy suddenly disappeared and was most likely pulling some crazy stunt that would land him on tomorrow's top news story? Most likely.
By all means, Lemon was used to the combined stress of throwing a successful show and the antics her two main stars created-but really could things go right for once? For Liz, it seemed she could never be truly happy without some sort of due, which was typically her peace of mind and constant testing of her stress threshold. Luckily she had a plan for tonight's shenanigans.
First, she had already sent faithful page, Kenneth and Tracy's companions, Grizz and Dot Com to check all the places where the infamous star could've been. (And to keep checking news updates just in case) Secondly, she was going to have to give Jenna a pep talk in order to get her on stage. It usually worked, unless Liz made a verbal slip up, but that was rare. Jenna, while certainly not a dimwitted as others played her out to be, when it came to anything that crossed her spotlight, she was fairly easy to manipulate.
After a knock on the door, the writer opened the door of the room that belonged to her colleague. "Hey Jenna buddy, what's up? Why aren't you in costume yet?" She spoke in a soft, non-threatening choice of words, buttering things up in case they got ugly. "...This better work." She sighed mentally, realizing she had no plan B in case Jenna saw through the façade.
