What Are We Going To Do? (open)

[Mano Black]

(ooc: March 15th. Afternoon. Set after Transformation Central.)

A flash of energy deposited the group in the room. Mano pouted finding he was a monkey. It just made him miss home especially Souchi. La was a leopard. Hades was now a labrador. Scar was now a male adult human. Natasha was a cobra. And Pinocchio was a donkey. He seemed terrified by it and was crying.

Mano rushed over to Pinocchio and hugged him trying to calm him down only reaching his legs which made Pinocchio only sob harder.

"Pinocchio it's ok. We'll fix this. Don't cry." said Mano.

Scar was furious. He was now human. Hearing Pinocchio be upset about being a donkey made him pity the boy. Mano was trying to help but he didn't appear to be working.

"Don't worry Pinocchio. We'll reverse this. Facilier surprised us but he's not won. We will not be trapped like this." said Scar.

La walked over to Pinocchio rubbing her head against his head to try to calm him.

"Don't cry little one. We'll reverse this and be back to normal in no time. Well as normal as things get around here." said La.

Hades was furious. It was bad enough having Pluto as a roman name. Now he was a dog. He sighed in annoyance. He couldn't even summon his powers. Why couldn't have at least been turned into Cerberus. He paused seeing Pinocchio was upset and the others were trying to calm him down a little. Hades nodded as well.

"They're right kid. We'll fix this very soon." said Hades.

At least he hoped so. But if he couldn't even use his own powers he wasn't sure how they were going to do it. La was out too as she was transformed as well. He wasn't sure who was left that wasn't changed by that spell.

Natasha hissed as she slithered around. She was trapped as a cobra. She wasn't beautiful and she couldn't even hold her weapons. She was no good to anyone stuck like this. With her luck even her venom was probably not poisonous.

"Vell we should start working on a cure to this soon. Anyone got any ideas?" asked Natasha.

Dr. Smith shook his head.

"I don't have anything at the moment. I'll start working on it immediately with Insano and the others." said Dr. Smith.

[Mowgli Black]

A flash of energy caused all Ask Thatguy members to return. As Ask Thatguy and Insano looked on, many were transformed in the process of the battle. Loki was now a black panther, Patch and Ronno were human children and mowgli was now a tiger cub. It seemed many were focused on Pinnochio's change because of how upset he was getting

Seeing Pinnochio distraught made Ask Thatguy himself feel distraught. He turned to Dr. Smith and nodded "Yes. Get to work on it as soon as we can" He went over to his son and responded softly "Don't cry, my son. The others are right. We will return you to your original form as soon as possible. Please don't cry, sweetheart" He felt terrible for his son and saw Insano turn to Dr. Smith during the conversations people had.

"We really should get to work. Poor kid" Insano mumbled to Dr. Smith as he saw the young donkey cry in hysteria. The doctor grabbed a remote-like object and started typing on it "Well, it's obviously a magical problem but there's never a thing that science cannot solve. We'll find a way out of this"

"I certainly hope so!" Mowgli said as he licked his paws "This is really topsy turvy if you asked me" He turned to see lots of people comfort Pinnochio, seeing how freaked out he was and the tiger cub went over too. "Everybody's right Pinnochio. This won't last. It's just some stupid, terrible trick Facilier played on us" Mowgli sighed and laid down on the floor. "This is beyond weird. How the heck did Facilier think this was a good idea?"

"Because, young one, magicians tend to use their magic just to annoy their enemies" Loki responded, gracefully walking on fours. Loki was now a black panther, similar to La's leopard in the feline side of animals. Due to shape-shifting, Loki knew the deal when it came to being a panther. So to him this was something, although not in his control, something he could easily develop a habit of doing. He didn't mind it but he made absolutely no comment on what he himself was ok with, seeing his poor nephew panic due to his own transformation as a donkey. Seeing la cuddle the weeping donkey made him quickly go over and put his head on the opposite side and nuzzle it himself. The god wanted to be there too for the boy-turned-donkey. "We will not let this last, young one. It will be alright. It is alright. We are here with you. This problem will be fixed" Loki said in the best attempt of soothing he could manage. He felt very unpleased that his nephew was suffering like this. Obviously the animal of choice was something pinnochio was not ok with, seeing how petrified he was about being such a way.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Patch said as he struggled with walking on two legs, Ronno quickly tried to help him up but the two boys quickly fell into a pile. The two animals now were human and were trying to solve this problem together but it seemed to not work quite yet. Patch was a blue-eyed, black-haired young boy while ronno was a brown-eyed, brown-haired young boy who seemed to have some freckles around his face. Ronno turned to Patch and responded "Hey spotty, you look weird as a human no offense"

"None taken. I probably do. You look ok I guess" Patch replied, smiling slightly

"Thanks, spots. Hey, pinnochio? Oh no. Aww, don't worry bro, things will be back to normal right guys?" Ronno said as the situation with pinnochio was apparent. Patch saw everybody focused on pinnochio but he waddled and looked about for someone else "Mechakara?" Maybe his master could help him learn how to walk. He turned about looking for his master but tripped and flopped to the floor. "I look really stupid now don't I?"

DarkHeart was not a participant of the battle but she got from all the commotion that something serious happened. Apparently people were transformed into animals or different creatures and DarkHeart went over to Dr. Smith and replied "I do hope this does not last. It is rather baffling to see" She then saw a young boy and immediately knew it was patch as heard when he called for mechakara. She went over and helped him up and chuckled "No, but you definitely are light on your feet" She helped him then find mechakara.

Zira watched Pinocchio’s despair from a distance. His cries tugged at her blackened heartstrings, and she felt the desire to comfort him as she would have one of her cubs. At the same time, she didn’t dare move from the spot she had been dumped on. She had already fallen once today, and she didn’t need it to happen again, particularly not when Scar and all of her allies were watching.

Like everyone else who had been transformed, Zira was not happy about her new form. She, like Scar, had become a human. It was as if the Great Kings had played a vicious joke on her, to punish her for past misdeeds. Her claws were gone, replaced by laughably short fingernails. She prodded at her teeth with her tongue and shuddered to discover that they were now herbivore’s teeth. Prey’s teeth, flat and dull.

A low growl escaped her throat, and Zira realized with dismay that even that had been taken from her. She sounded like a newborn cub. There was nothing intimidating about her anymore. She had become prey.

The once-lioness stole a glance at her mate, who seemed to be as angry about the changes as she was. At least they were humans together – despite her complaining, Zira knew enough to realize that it could have been much worse.

“How long do you think we’ll have to stay like this?”

[Mano Black]

Smith nodded.

"That poor boy. It must be bringing back memories of Pleasure Island. He had to watch one of his friends turn into a donkey and he couldn't do anything to stop it or save him. The Coachman probably still enslaving boys and turning them into donkeys. If any of the villains from that film dared showed their faces here I'd wring their necks." said Smith.

He blushed seeing the surprised reactions of Ask That Guy and Insano.

"Well I'm a father too. Well I was. I was about to give birth to many children and unfortunately, i lost them. I survived being stuck in that time loop but my children didn't make it. For some reason, male and female spiders of the species I was turned into can have kids. Must be a way to make sure to increase their numbers or something. Unfortunately, the process also made me sterile. It's one of the reasons I shut myself up in the lab so much. I could focus on inventions and not on the family I lost. Excuse me." said Dr. Smith.

He wiped tears that were beginning to form as he walked off into the kitchen to compose himself.

Pinocchio stobbed crying as everyone was trying to cheer him up. He was still upset, and scared but he didn't want to cry anymore.

"Why did I have to turn into a donkey? Why couldn't I have turned into something cool? Like a deer." said Pinocchio.

He paused seeing Ronno grin at that remark as Pinocchio couldn't help smile in return. He sighed.

La smiled as Pinocchio started to calm down. Although they were at a disadvantage with Loki, Hades, and herself changed but they still had Dark Nella as well as the scientists. Surely they'd find something.

"It will be alright little one. Everyone will be back to normal in no time." said La.

She chuckled hearing his words.

"So you want to be a deer like your brother huh? Well once this is over I could turn into a deer for awhile. If you still wanted to that is." said La.

She paused glancing at the others.

"Loki? Hades? Can you use your magic? I don't seem to able to while in this form.." said La.

Mano relaxed seeing everything was ok for the moment. He sighed missing Souchi even more now that he was a monkey.

"Don't worry Pinocchio. Dad and the others are right. We'll find a way to reverse this." said Mano.

Natasha relaxed seeing Pinocchio had calmed down. She did feel bad for the boy.

Hades was glad Pinocchio was ok. He still hated being a dog but he supposed there could be worse things. He heard La's question and shook his head.

"I can't use my powers either. This spell was powerful but it backfired and hit all three armies. I have a feeling Facilier didn't mean for it to affect his army. We were lucky to get away from there and not end up in his circus or mounted on a wall as trophies." said Hades.

He shuddered at the thought as neither idea sounded appealing.

Mechakara had avoided the spell thankfully so he was just watching everyone else. When he realized Patch was turned into a human he walked towards him. But Dark Heart beat him too it. She sure had shown up in a hurry. He chuckled at the thought as he walked up to the pair.

"Patch? Is that really you?" asked Mechakara.

He paused giving him a hug.

"We'll find a way to reverse this. And help you adjust while you're human." said Mechakara.

Penny meanwhile came in shocked at seeing new animals and humans here.

"Have we gotten a lot of new members?"asked Penny.

She paused seeing Mechakara and Dark Heart talking with a boy. She'd always liked humans. She wagged her tail excitely as she ran up to them.

"Hello. Welcome to-"

She paused sniffing the air as she looked at the boy in shock. He smelled like Patch. Could this be Patch somehow?

"Patch? Is that you? What happened?" asked Penny.

Scar turned to look at Zira and walked towards her. He stumbled as he grabbed onto a chair nearly falling. He blushed emabarrassed as he got to his feet again and walked up to her.

"Hopefully not too long. I know they'll try to get us all back. Especially for Pinocchio. That boy certainly doesn't like being a donkey. Not that I blame him. None of us seem really happy about this." said Scar.

[Patch]

(OCC: Awww. Poor Dr. Smith! Insano to the rescue!)

Insano turned to Dr. Smith, shocked of how empathetic he was for the child, as was Ask Thatguy. The two listened to all of Dr. Smith's past and about his miscarriages with his many children. The two were incredibly saddened by this information and saw Dr. Smith leave. Ask Thatguy went over to his son, to be there as a silent supporter, while Insano politely excused himself to follow his friend. Ask Thatguy turned to Zira and sadly responded "I do not know. But Insano, Smith and I will have a program to work on this major issue quickly" He turned to Pinnochio and responded with a assuring smile "Of course Pinnochio. This is something that will definitely not last. We will get right to work on it"

Insano found Dr. Smith upset in the kitchen and couldn't help but feel pity for his friend. He went over and responded to Dr. Smith "Smith. I'm so sorry about all of that. If I lost any children I probably would shut myself off too. I know it's hard but I'm right here if you need me. This is hard for all of us"

Ronno smiled widely, glad at Pinnochio's comment about being a deer instead of a donkey "Yeah! You'd rock with antlers dude!" Ronno said, pumping a fist in the air despite his confusion right afterwards. "Hey maybe you can teach me the ropes about being a human when you get the chance, bro? It kinda is hard knowing which part is which other than the titles" He then listened to the others encourage that this transformation would not last. He nodded in kind and responded excitedly "What the others said. And hey, maybe once this is all finished, La can turn you into a deer and we can have some real fun!" He turned to Mowgli who was laying down and not saying anything. He paused, curious about mowgli being a tiger cub

"A deer actually is much nicer than a donkey" Loki agreed, being very sincere. He didn't like being forced to being a panther, if he wanted to be one he'd do it himself, not have other's magic do it. He had no choice though and neither did pinnochio. Which was something that really ruffled his fur. The poor boy suffered enough as a donkey, he didn't need the reminder. He shuddered at Hades' comment about being mounted on a wall "Being a army trophy is not the best way to go off" He then listened to La's question and closed his eyes, trying to concentrate. Trying to see if he could do it. Then he widened his eyes horrified. His powers. They were gone. He couldn't use his powers in this forced panther form.

He cursed in norse, aware that children were around and probably not able to understand norse, and turned to Hades and La "Alas. I too have no power in this feline form. I guess we are forced to depend on other means. This, as the children have said, sucks. A lot" His tail swished back and forth and some fur was tussled and because of this, Loki had a sudden instinct and licked it clean.

"For starters, you need to learn to walk on two legs" DarkHeart commented as he allowed Mechakara to take control. The poor pup, now boy, had not a lot to work with. He didn't know anything about being a human. He needed to learn. Fortunately he had two very good teachers. DarkHeart turned and observed Penny, feeling relieved somewhat that she did not enter the fray at all because she didn't. She turned to Patch who explained the situation to his sister and started to feel concerned. DarkHeart softly responded "Fear not Patch. You will be alright. Since we cannot turn you back yet, you will easily adapt. But we will make sure this does not last long, and bring you back like mechakara said"

"Mechakara! Facilier's magic! It turned me human! I look so weird, I have black fur on my head!" He showed mechakara his black hair and smiled softly as Mechakara quickly took him in and hugged him tightly, Patch hugged him back and nuzzled his master's chest out of instinct. "I believe you mechakara. I'll learn. It'll just take a while. These things are hard. How do you do it?" He began to wobble again and responded sadly "I'm not starting off so well am I?" He then turned to see his sister welcome him because, understandably, he was not the same. He then struggled over to her due to his wobbly legs and responded to Penny "Hi Penny! Yeah it's me, Patch! I'm glad you're not like me. Facilier's magic turned me human" He then was about to fall backwards if not for Mechakara's rescue.

"Aw man. This really sucks. I can't even stand up. What if I really can't learn? This is really hard" Patch said, hurt and worry in his tone.

Zira winced in sympathy when Scar stumbled. She had done something very similar when they were first transported away from the battle. These bodies were going to take some getting used for.

“Yes, that’s true,” she mused, briefly shifting her attention back to Pinocchio. “But I wonder why he specifically is having such a bad reaction?”

The former lioness shook her head. She was likely just overthinking things.

“I’m certainly not happy being stuck in this ridiculous body,” she muttered, eyes flashing in annoyance.

[Dr. Zachary Smith]

Dr. Smith sighed.

"I know you care my friend. And I thank you for that. I didn't mean to cause a scene. I just wish to help Pinocchio and the others turn back into what they used to be. But this isn't as simple as a gadget to reverse. It's magic. And unfortunately, a lot of our sorcerers are trapped in those forms. And can't use their magic. I don't know if science can reverse such a powerful magical spell. I'll definitely try but as much as I prefer science of magic not even it can do everything." said Dr. Smith.

Pinocchio cheered up a little listening to everyone. His family and friends were trying to help him.

"Thank you. You guys are the best. I'm so glad to have you with me. I don't like this but at least I'm not alone." said Pinocchio.

Pinocchio grinned as La said she could even turn him into a deer at some point if he wanted.'

"Well I'd like to be human again first. But it would be fun to be a deer for a day maybe sometime. But probably not for awhile." said Pinocchio.

Pinocchio turned to Ronno with a grin.

"Sure. I can give you pointers. Although you might want to talk to dad or one of the others who can walk. They'll be better at teaching you than I would." said Pinocchio.

He paused turning to Loki and La.

"Uncle Loki. Aunt La. You think you could teach me how to walk on four legs? If I'm going to be stuck like this I don't want to be tripping around." said Pinocchio.

As he walked forward his legs wobbled and he toppled to the floor. He blushed red wondering if he would ever get used to walking on four legs.

Mano smiled at Pinocchio. He stepped back a little itching his chest not used to this furry monkey body.

"Even if you had been the only one turned you would never be alone. You have friends and family here. You're never alone Pinocchio. Never forget that." said Mano.

La nodded.

"She's right Pinocchio. You will always have us. And that will never change." said La.

She grinned glad he was cheering up a little. She paused turning to Ask That Guy.

"Hades, Loki, and I can't use our powers while we're stuck like this. So it will up to Dark Nella and any other sorcerers left in this army to work on a magical way to reverse this. Magic did this so magic may be the way to reverse it. Dr. Insano and the others can try their best to find a scientific way to change us back. But we may need a magical way just in case." said La.

Hades frowned seeing La and Loki with both without their magic.

"La's right. It's going to be up to Dark Nella. I'd help if I could." said Hades.

He smiled also glad Pinocchio was relaxing more. He paused scratching his hear with his back paw. It felt odd and yet his ear was so itchy.

"I can't believe my life has been reduced to this. If my nephew or the Gods of Olympus saw this I'd be a laughing stock." said Hades.

"Dahling you're not the only one who has it bad. We just have adjusted to these forms. Hopefully, we'll fix this soon though." said Natasha.

Mechakara grinned as Patch and Penny reunited while looking at Dark Heart as well.

"Dark Heart is right you will adapt. Humans started out crawling on all fours before eventually learning how to walk. Even humans didn't learn how to walk in one day. With time and practice you'll be walking on two legs in no time." said Mechakara.

He hugged Patch before scooping him up his arms and grinned.

"I will keep you safe Patch no matter what. But if you are stuck at this I want you to know I'd adopt you as my son. If you wanted that. You are my family whether you're a dog or a person. And I won't let anyone take you away from me." said Mechakara.

Penny smiled glad she wa right about Patch. She giggled as Mechakara scooped Patch into his arms.

"I do hope you turn back into a puppy soon Patch. It's going to be harder to play with you while you're human." said Penny.

She paused glancing around seeing Pinocchio was a donkey. Mowgli was a tiger cub, and Ronno was human. Many of the others had changed as well.

Scar shrugged.

"Must be something in his past I suppose. That kid sometimes acts more than how he really looks. Sometimes I forget he's so young. I've seen him alone a few times. The way he'd stare off into space with this look of fear as if he was remembering something awful. It even made me pity the poor boy. Whatever he's gone through whether it was this war or before it he still his haunted by that." said Scar.

Scar smirked at her words.

"I'm not happy about it either. Although you are just as beautiful as ever." said Scar.

He walked forward kissing her on the lips wrapping his arms around her as he did so. It was an odd feeling and yet felt so right. He pulled back with a grin.

"Well that was different but in a good way." said Scar.

Zira nodded at Scar’s analysis. She hadn’t spent much time around Pinocchio since her arrival, but he seemed to be the most innocent out of everyone here. Occasionally she had questioned why he was with them.

“I’m not happy about it either. Although you are just as beautiful as ever.”

Zira felt her pale cheeks grow dark and warm. She was certain that this was what the humans called ‘blushing’. Before she could react further to her mate’s words, Scar came over to her and pressed his mouth against hers.

For the first few seconds, Zira froze, wide-eyed and unsure of how to react. Then as if an unknown instinct had taken over, she closed her eyes and leaned into the kiss, winding her arms around his neck. The kiss was unlike anything she had ever experienced before, but that definitely wasn’t a bad thing. She had never felt this level of closeness before and was disappointed when it finally ended.

“Well that was different, but in a good way.”

“Yes.” Zira touched a hand to her lips. A smile was slowly making its way across her face.

[Patch]

"Don't be like that, how you feel is perfectly fine. It's ok. I'm sure the others will understand. You just had a bit of a bad break" Insano said understandingly. He felt bad for his friend but he didn't want to sound incredibly pitying, because Smith was a man that didn't take kindly to being pitied. "Science can do anything!" Insano persisted "Yes it might not work but that hasn't stopped us before!" Insano still had preferences over to magic but he was no stranger to being flexible thanks to this unpredictable problem. However he wanted smith to feel a bit more confident or cheerful.

"I understand. This makes it far more difficult yes but we can manage I believe. Science or magic, we'll find a solution with either one" Ask Thatguy said, a concerned look as Pinnochio tripped but with Loki's help got right back on his feet. "I shall make arrangements with Nella immediately along with Smith and Insano" He then gave a small smile as Ronno and Pinnochio kept conversing and pinnochio commenting that ronno would need his help. Ironically Ronno tripped and Ask Thatguy helped him to his feet "Easy there kiddo, don't worry you'll get the hang of it ronno"

Loki was glad Ask Thatguy wasn't so panicky about the lack of magic users. He was also glad Pinnochio was far more cheerful. He then grinned and his tail swished calmly as the young donkey asked to be taught how to use four legs "Absolutely. It shall be easier for you once you practice" He then resisted the urge to chuckle as Hades scratched his ear with his hind leg, right before licking his paw to clean his own ear out of pure instinct. He then saw Pinnochio trip and quickly walked over, using his neck and head to assist Pinnochio back up "We shall start practicing now. Just use your front feet to get up then we will start" Seeing Pinnochio red-faced implied embarrassment so Loki made sure his tone was patient, for the boy was embarrassed and humiliated, he didn't need to feel ashamed either.

"Yeah that makes sense. But it's so weird to walk on just two feet. How do you do it?" Ronno said, and as he did he wobbled on the floor. "Whoa, whoa!" He said as he fell but thanks to Ask Thatguy he was prevented from a nasty hit on the floor on his rear. He nodded, blushing as Ask Thatguy said he would get the hang of it "Thanks dad" He said, getting used to calling Ask Thatguy that. He then turned to see Patch picked up by mechakara and had a bad feeling that this human-noid business was going to take a while for many of them.

"Oh that makes sense. Everything takes practice I guess. I mean it did take me a long time to walk on fours let alone two" Patch agreed, glad that Mechakara was still incredibly patient with him. Then again as their relationship developed, so did their concern and trust over the other. He smiled as he felt hugged, then blushed as Penny giggled as he was picked up, but Patch didn't bring himself to care and held onto Mechakara's upper-body for protection of some sort. He then beamed as Mechakara said that whether human or animal, Patch would still be his family and that nothing would keep him away from the robot, as a response Patch snuggled against mechakara's neck "Thanks mechakara. I don't want anyone to take me away either. I'm just glad you accept me regardless" He then turned to his sister and nodded "Yeah. It'll be hard to play with you when I'm much bigger"

Wizzer walked over to penny and human Patch. "Hi, penny" Wizzer said with a happy wag of his tail. Wizzer looked over at Patch with a smile. Wizzer did love meeting new people, but something felt very strange almost as if this human was...no it couldn't be, could it?

"Patch? Is that you?" Wizzer said stunned

[Mechakara]

Scar smiled at her. He'd ended up spending a lot more time with her lately. Since there was no Pridelands to rule or overthrow here he had a lot more free time on his hands. He smiled as she returned ethe kiss and was pleased by it.

"While I hope we'll be lions again some day we could have been turned to worse forms. So I guess these human forms aren't so bad. At least for awhile." said Scar.

He smiled at her.

"Perhaps we should take a seat. I'm still not used to these legs and I'd rather not end up on the floor." said Scar.

He chuckled as he mad his way to an empty sofa taking a seat patting the sofa hoping Zira would join him.

"I hope Vitani will be okay with this. We haven't spent much time with her since she got here." said Scar.

Smith smiled at Insano.

"Thank you for being so understanding. I never thought of having kids of my own before but then I was going to have them. I was excited but then they died. And now I don't think I'd even find love. Who'd want to date an alien spider scientist anyway?" said Smith.

He listened to Insano's words and sighed.

"I don't know. Science can do a lot of things but we haven't used it to reverse magic before. I don't want to make things worse." said Smith.

Pinocchio sighed relaxing a little. He smiled as his dad came up. He went up to him to hug him only to pout realizing he had no arms so he just nuzzled him.

"I don't like being a donkey. Is there any way to fix this?" said Pinocchio.

Pinocchio smiled as Loki helped him back up to teach him how to walk on four legs.

"Thanks Uncle Loki." said Pinocchio.

Hades and La both remained silent not sure what else to add. Pinocchio was cheering up some but he was still pretty depressed. And after what he'd been through in his own world and this war they could't really blaim him. They let the father and son have a moment together. Hades began scratching his ear again and frowned hating being stuck as a dog.

"Oh great. I think I have fleas." said Hades.

La looked at him sypmathetically.

"Don't worry Hades. We'll find a way to reverse this soon." said La

She watched as Loki started to give Pinoccho lessons on how to walk on four legs.

He grinned as Patch was relieved he would still be part of the family.

"You'll just have to be careful around her. You should probably stick to running games like racing for now." said Mechakara.

Penny wagged her tail at the idea.

"Racing sounds fun. You should enjoy this while you can Patch. Not every dog gets the chance to be human after all. What's it like having two legs anyway?" said Penny.

She turned looking as Wizzer joined them.

"Hey Wizzer." said Penny.

She nodded.

"Yeah. Our last battle got some magic going around and turned a lot of people into something else. Humans became animals and animals became humans. I think it affected all three armies though so the spell kind of backfired." said Penny.

Mano watched silently as Pinocchio was trying to get used to four legs. Loki was going to help him learn. He felt bad for his new brother but he he wasn't sure what else there was anything he could do.

"You're doing pretty well for a beginner. You'll be walking like a pro in no time Pinocchio." said Mano, trying to cheer his brother up.

Natasha watched the setting interesting. She didn't like being stuck as a cobra. But they had their best scientists and sorcerers working on it. Well the few left who weren't animals.

"So what are we going to do in the meantime? Do we sleep in the living room or basement or something?" asked Natasha.

Insano's pity increased, and he patted the alien scientist "Don't lose hope my friend. Everyone gets what they want eventually" Well, that wasn't true but why not just give Smith a bout of hope? Better to do that than to allow himself to consume himself with sorrow. He then heard Smith's other comment and was a little more enthusiastic with this "Nonsense. Science makes things better for the world, beneficial things only come from science. We'll get this fixed up in no time at all!"

"Of course there is, son" Ask Thatguy said, gently holding onto Pinnochio and smiling as the donkey nuzzled him. He wasn't too sure HOW exactly but he wanted to give his son faith and hope. He understood his son's pain and didn't want the boy to worry any more than he was.

"It is no trouble. It will come naturally through time" Loki patiently responded, a small smile appearing on his furry features. At the sound of Hades having fleas, Loki turned and responded "I hate to tell you this, my friend, but you may need to get a bath for that" He resisted the urge to laugh so he paid more attention to his nephew instead. He helped Pinnochio get up more than gently pushed the donkey with his head to help with the donkey walk. "Now remember. Front legs than back legs, one at a time and do it slowly"

DarkHeart meanwhile saw Penny and Wizzer both chit-chat with Patch, so she seemed to be unneeded at that moment. So she checked on Ronno and saw him struggling. So she helped the human boy up and gave him specific instructions on how to walk. Ronno obeyed her instructions with care, and despite tripping a couple of times, he seemed to be a good listener.

"Yeah. I know we'll get him what he deserves" Patch responded. To be honest, he wasn't focused on revenge. He was focused on being turned back. His human form caused some issues, like being safe in terms of custody. But despite his worries, he knew Mechakara would protect him, like he always did throughout this war. It was amazing that despite being a hero at first, he trusted, befriended and became the loyal pet of someone who everyone considered bad. Patch thought he was bad too but he saw the real side, or the sensitive side to the machine. He enjoyed that part. At this thought, he nuzzled the machine's neck some more out of instinct.

"Racing's fun. I love racing" Patch responded about being careful with his sister. "It's actually cool, once you get used to the fact you don't have paws but feet" He responded to his sister. He did nod at her point though, that he was actually getting the chance to be a human and see what it was like. It was by force sure but it was still a experience all dogs were curious to try. "What penny said wizzer, it's still me. Just a big difference" Patch responded as his brother wizzer came into play. He wondered how his younger brother would handle this.

If Wizzer had any other feeling about this other than happiness it was not shown. Wizzer's tail wagged back and fourth happily. " that is kinda awesome, This might make you really awesome at Tag and hide and seek." Wizzer said walking over to the human Patch and gently nuzzels his leg.

Butters was feeling kind of funny.  Not funny "ha ha" either.  Butters was perfectly content to be a relatively normal little boy.  A little boy who had been granted psychic powers, but other than that, pretty normal.  Well, it didn't look like "normal" was going happen to Butters for a while.  Just when the blonde thought he was used to being a part of this army - this family of sorts - he'd been turned into an abomination of nature.  Being a Jersey Devil, Butters had long hoofed feet, long claws, a long neck and tail, big bat wings and a face like some awful goat-horse hybrid.  Butters had become a true horror.  At least, he was scary on the outside.  But on the inside, it was the same old Butters.  It was quite strange, seeing the Jesrey Devil hold himself in such a meek, nervous way.  Looking at his appearance, one wouldn't have expected the creature to be so shy.  In fact, Butters was more nervous that usual, still not accustomed to his new body, or the bodies of the others, in fact.  His walk was rather wobbly as he tried to travel closer to the other kids.  Long, sharp claws were drawn up close to his chest.  Butters was scared.  What if his father found out he was turned into a demon monster?  He'd get a real licking for sure, he would.

"Oh jeez.  Oh jeez," Butters murmured, "First I go off and be a part of a b-big evil horde, and then I go an get myself turned into a scary ol' monster.  Boy, if my dad ever found out, I would be g-grounded forever."

Really, the idea of being grounded was the scariest thing to Butters.  He wasn't so much bothered that he had been turned into a Jersey Devil, rather, what other people would think of him for looking the way he did.  Butters' eyes strayed and he looked toward his back.  One of his wings splayed out so he could see it easier.  He flapped his wings weakly.

"Hey, d' you think m-maybe I could fly with these things?" Butters asked nobody in particular.

[Penny]

Zach smiled at him.

"I'm grateful to have a friend a friend like you. You've always been there for me even before this war. When you were taken by Facilier and the others I was alone again. The others tried to help but it wasn't the same. I've come to view you as more than just a friend but like family. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you for good." said Zach.

He smiled at Insano and nodded.

"Yes. Science will make everything better. It always has before." said Zach.

Pinocchio sighed as he was grateful for his father and the others calming him down.

"This just brings back bad memories. I was almost turned into a donkey once. And I watched one of my friends turn into one. At least I have you guys." said Pinocchio.

He smiled as he kept nuzzling his father before he looked over at Ronno and nuzzled his brother. He tried scratching his ear but his hooves didn't work right and he frowned. He paused as Loki began guiding him how to walk as he tried walking forward only to slip on his legs and tumble to the ground. He stood up and paused looking at Butters.

"Maybe. You won't know until you try."said Pinocchio.

Mano smiled seeing his younger brothers together.

"We'll have this fixed in no time. Then we'll make Facilier pay for this." said Mano.

He covered his mouth trying not to laugh as Pinocchio fell. He didn't want to make his brother feel worse.

Hades frowned at Loki's words.

"Great. I guess I'll have to have someone help me with that. I won't be able to open the soap and things like that. I don't think I could even open the bathroom door." said Hades.

He watched as Loki began helping out Pinocchio and the boy stumble to the ground. He was sure the boy could learn with time. He wasn't sure how he'd adjust to walking on all fours either so he'd take this slowl.

La watched as Pinocchio was mingling with his family. She chuckled at Hades annoyance at the fleas and having a bath before realizing they were all in the same boat.

"I guess I never realized how much I did with my hands. Why could I at least have been turned into a Leopard Woman." said La.

Natasha watched and was also glad Pinocchio was back to normal. She saw Smith seemed upset and hadn't returned. Insuedo had gone tot talk to him. She couldn't help much as a snake anyway.

"Well now that the boy is calm we should focus on a cure. We can't say like this forever." said Natasha.

Mechakara smiled at Patch.

"We certainly will. I'm so glad you're ok. Human or dog at least you're still safe." said Mechakara.

He hugged Patch again as Patch nuzzled him and Mechakara chuckled.

"You know you can give me a hug with those arms now." said Mechakara.

He smiled watching Patch interact with his siblings Penny and Wizzer.

Penny grinned wagging her tail.

"Mechakara's right. The important thing is you're okay Patch." said Penny.

She nodded.

"Yep. Racing's fun. You'd probably win more though. You've got longer legs now." said penny.

She grinned glad Wizzer was here.

"Well he could hide in more places as a human. Although he'd probably find us quicker." said Penny.
