Not Alone (Jafar)

[Rita Repulsa]

(ooc: March 13th. Open to Rita & Jafar. And later Zedd to interrupt the conversation.)

Rita grinned as she walked into the circus tent. Facilier, Malachite, and everyone else was gone. Out doing errands, or training, or just exploring the city. She took a seat on a chair and grinned. It was nice to have time to herself or just relax. That rarely happened anymore and any time she could get she was grateful to have. She conjured a glass of wine and began sipping it.

"This is the life. Once we take over the Earth and defeat the other armies things will be simple like this all the time." said Rita.

[Jafar]

Jafar wasn't really planning on going about the city, nor training, nor doing errands. He too felt like staying behind and felt it best to just mind his own business back at the base of Facilier's army. He felt like not really doing anything either, mostly because this was the only time he would ever have peace and quiet. So naturally he was about to go to the house when he heard Rita speaking. He did see her sitting on a chair, sipping a glass of wine and pretty much commenting to herself that once they took over the earth, that things would be simple.

"Indeed they will be Ms. Repulsa" Jafar said, deliberately wanting to surprise her. He walked over to her and replied kindly "I do hope I am not interuptting your time to yourself but I feel you and I should get better aquainted. After all, we are allies"

[Rita Repulsa]

Rita paused looking up seeing Jafar walk in. She looked at him in surprise.

"Jafar? What are you doing here? I thought everyone was out today and I was alone." said Rita.

She paused as he walked over to her and felt they should get to know each other better. She nodded.

"Sure. I don't have any other plans today. I think Facilier and Malachite don't have any more planning sessions or meetings for a few days. I heard you're a sorcerer who used to be a genie. Quite impressive." said Rita.

[Jafar]

Jafar chuckled in complete amusement as the woman was shocked to see him there. He liked that he genuinely surprised her, as was his goal and responded "Well you would think that but I did not feel like going out. I felt the need to just be relaxing away from the others. Seeing you here is quite nice I must say" He looked her up and down before just standing above her seat and smiling as she accepted his request to talk with her.

"That's what I heard too. They said the sessions are put to a halt for a bit, hence the break. Which is good" Jafar said, conjuring a seat of his own and relaxing himself, being very casual with the only female leader of the group. He chuckled and nodded at her response that she heard he was a sorcerer who previously was a genie "It is. I was a fool though. I was unaware of the cost of being a powerful being such as a genie. I had to be controlled and the only way to be completely free was to either be killed or be set freed by my master. Obviously I was killed but brought back to life here" He rolled his eyes "If aladdin was here I would be pleased to terminate him but I'm afraid I have to deal with the princess of his heart instead"

He shrugged "I wished to have her as mine but she was too stubborn. Too sentimental and independant"

Rita nodded listening to him.

"So you chose to stay in like me? Well I'm glad to see you too." said Rita.

Rita listened as Jafar confirmed the others were out for the day running errands or having fun. When he conjured a seat she watched impressed.

"Not bad. A spell like that isn't as simple as it looks." said Rita.

She listened to his story.

"I see. The powers of a genie but being forced to serve a master. Yes that does sound bad. But I've heard there's a genie in Critic's army. If we could get our hands on that well it might help us." said Rita.

Rita nodded listening to him.

"I know how you feel. Zedd enslaved one of our enemies the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger to being his servant. It's quite fun to have him do our bidding. Last I heard she's a slave in Ask That Guy's army at the moment." said Rita.

She paused as he said he wanted to make Jasmine but it hadn't worked out.

"She refused you didn't she? Yeah. Zedd did something similar with one of our enemies the pink ranger. Although it's kinda amusing from what I've heard he was trying to turn her into well me. He must not have realized how much he loved me until we fell in love." said Rita.

She chuckled and sighed. She and Zedd were getting closer. She was sure of it. And yet she wondered if he'd ever regain his memories.

[Jafar]

"Oh yes, it is far nicer just staying here, with you of course" Jafar said, unapologetic to how he said this. He listened more to Rita's comments and smiled with some sort of arrogance as she commented about how he conjured a chair "It was difficult, yes, but I thank you for your compliment" He nodded as Rita said that although being a genie to serve sounded bad, they should get the genie the critic's army had "Ah yes. That is a good idea. What better way to take down the critic than to use a ally by force to go against him?" He chuckled after saying that.

"Is she? Good. Maybe it will humble her sorry excuse of a life. Though I am pleased you have a enemy doing your bidding" Jafar commented about the rumors of jasmine and the fact zedd controlled a red ranger enemy to be his slave. He then nodded as Rita said things about jasmine's denial but paused as she commented about how zedd and her fell in love. "So you two are together I see?" He asked, feeling somewhat disappointed but hopeful that he was wrong "He is a fortunate man" He mumbled softly, making sure rita did not hear that.

[Rita Repulsa]

Rita nodded listening to him.

"Yes it certainly is much nicer here." said Rita.

She paused glad he accepted the compliment.

"Your welcome. I'm not sure who has the lamp so that will be tricky. Do you know of a spell to locate it?" asked Rita.

She chuckled at her.

"Well perhaps we should capture her. If you still want her. There's no Aladdin to get in your way here. As for love well we could give her a love potion or better yet alter her memories. Or wipe them out completely. If that's what you wanted." said Rita.

She paused at his words.

"Yes. But he lost his memories of the past few years. He doesn't even remember marrying me. He's had a few brief flashes of memory but it hurts sometimes. He insulted me in the beginning and avoided me. I'm hoping I can get him to remember but sometimes it's just so hard." said Rita.

She paused as he mumbled something but she shrugged it off not caring what he said.

[Jafar]

Jafar nodded in agreement, glad Rita was in tune with what he was saying. He then pondered about the genie they had on Critic's side "Since it's imprisoned within the ranks of Critic's house, I doubt that even with magic, the lamp would still be hard to find and take. Especially since they are quite guarded. Yet maybe a little navigation spell can do the trick" He suggested politely.

"You are far too kind, Ms. Rita but I will humbly decline your offer. Jasmine has become no longer in my interests. But capturing her just to amuse myself and mess with Ask Thatguy's ranks would do nicely as revenge" Jafar replied with a devious smirk. Although he no longer had interest in Jasmine, he did have many grudges against her and capturing her seemed perfect. Taking it out by imprisoning a royal woman as her would be most enjoyable to the sorcerer's ego.

"Has he now?" Jafar said, curiosity appearing far more than he allowed it too. Yet if he didn't seem sympathetic, this conversation would go sour and he knew that. He resisted the urges to smile and looked genuinely sorry for the sorceress. He then held his hand to his chest "How dreadful! Such a terrible burden for one so hard-working as you!" He then shook his head "I am exceedingly sorry, madame. Have you tried.... anything? A spell perhaps?" He honestly didn't give a damn about Zedd's issues. He was only trying to make Rita feel important. It was rather a tool to get Rita to trust him. Which would make wooing her far easier.

[Rita Repulsa]

Rita nodded listening to him

"I see. Well perhaps it would be best for you to find someone in this army anyway. Slaves would never work out and there'd be the chance of them trying to escape or yiou having to kill them. I'm sure if you looked you could find someone suitable you liked." said Rita.

Rita sighed.

"Yes. But we're spending a lot of time together. In a way it's like falling in love all over again. I hope he'll get his memories back. Right now he's getting random flashes of memory." said Rita.

She paused at his words and smiled glad for a sympathetic friend.

"Thank you. It was bad at first. He hated me. Insulted me. But he's doing better. I think we're making a connection." said Rita.

She thought of a spell and shook her head.

"I haven't really tried one yet. Besides magic is unpredictable. I could end up giving him total amnesia instead of restoring his memories. Perhaps it would best to let him regain his memories on his own." said Rita.

[Jafar]

"You are absolutely right Ms. Repulsa. I can find someone, just... not a slave" Jafar said, looking over Rita. She was starting to become the said one. But all in due time. He didn't want to be killed for trying now did he? No he did not. One death was perfectly enough to satisfy his mortality issues.

"Well then. I suppose that's good" Jafar did his best to sound sincere but found it rather difficult. He then turned then brought up the sympathy card again, eyes wide and responded with a noticeable amount of horror "What a horrific thing for you, his wife, to go through! That must of been so terrible! You should not be insulted at all! You are a intelligent woman! It is such a shame he had to go that low" He frankly still didn't give a damn about Zedd's problem. Rita needed trust and attention for Jafar to get what he was looking for, her attention towards him. Again, planning first though.

"Ah I see. So he doesn't seem to be getting his memories any time soon methinks" Jafar said, trying not to sound pleased.

[Rita Repulsa]

Rita nodded.

"Jasmine was a fool to turn you down. But I'm glad you won't give up. There's someone out there for you." said Rita.

Rita nodded again listening to him.

"Yes it is good. And I am sorry he lost his memories. But we're working through this. I love him. We've been married nearly four years now. And I'm not going to give up on him." said Rita.

She smiled as he got so protective of her. It was nice to have someone outside of Zedd, her father, Facilier, and Malachite be like that.

"Thank you Jafar. I haven't really had that many friends before. Zedd has treated me better recently and its ok. He treated me badly for centuries before we fell in love. But that was all in the past until he lost his memories." said Rita.

She nodded as Jafar said Zedd wasn't sure if he'd get his memories back soon.

"Yes. But I'm not too worried about his memory loss anymore. If I have to I'll get him to fall in love with me all over again. Not many people get to say they fell in love with the same person twice." said Rita.

[Jafar]

"Well you're incredibly kind, madame. I am going to find someone. Someday" Jafar may or may not have stared at Rita, but he did know that he was instantly thinking of her. She didn't seem to be in the mutual attention but he didn't need that. Well, not yet, due to him being more subtle for right at this moment.

"Ah. I see. Well that is understandable for you to be determined. Good for you" Jafar said, desperate to sound sincere, and it worked for now. The sympathy card always worked for some women, not all but some. And Rita apparently was one of those women. Seeing her reactions to his words seemed to be positive, seeing she wasn't suspicious yet. "But it is still a shame. People like you should be treated as royalty. Zedd does not know how fortunate he is, mostly because of his memory loss" Jafar said, sounding slightly condescending.

"No they do not. Because they do not have to have the same troubles you have. Which is a shame. This hassle shouldn't happen to someone as intelligent and pleasant as you" Jafar said, his gaze observant and calm. Like he was scheming something soon.

[Rita Repulsa]

Rita grinned.

"Well there single people here if one happens to catch your eye. If you do find someone you better ask them first. Because they could end up with someone else if you don't." said Rita.

Rita nodded.

"I am determined. But it's hard sometimes. He does have the red ranger as his slave. I'm not sure if being near me or Jason helps restore his memories or not." said Rita.

She grinned.

"Well it wasn't the first time. I mean I started out as his servant. Our marriage had a rocky start but we fell in love. We have a son together. I am known as Empress Rita in my land and now I'm one of the leaders of this army so I do have respect from the others here anyway. I can't blame Zedd for falling back into old habits. His memories are gone or just flashes to him." said Rita.

She smiled again at him.

"You flatter me Jafar. I am glad you stuck around here today. Talking with you has made me feel a little better." said Rita.

Jafar

"Ah yes. Yes. Very true. You are right" Jafar said, smiling. He stared at Rita, mesmerized with her for a moment before making his glance much less obvious. He wanted to bring mystery still. After all, then it wouldn't shock or be entertaining for her or himself. "Ah the ranger. He is supposedly your enemy yes? The rangers are a group of your past enemies I heard. Well if your enemy is now your slave, best we just make the most of it if it doesn't help memorization"

"What? My, oh my. That, my dear, is something considered awful. One as intelligent as you as a servant? Please. I get that it came to a mutual agreement but he should be ashamed of himself for making you his servant" Jafar rolled his eyes "You deserve to crush people with your heels" He waved his hand away "A son? Well suppose he shows up maybe Zedd will remember then?" He hoped not. If zedd never remembered or fell in love with Rita here, it would be open season for Jafar. Rita, in his opinion, is similar to jasmine. In the case they loved other men but he still found them desirable.

"Oh did it? Wonderful! I'm most pleased! It's the least I can do for our great mistress!" Jafar replied with delight. Great! His plan was working! She was falling right into it!

[Rita Repulsa]

"I know you'll find someone." said Rita.

She nodded as he spoke.

"Yes. Well he is Zedd's servant but Zedd ordered him to follow my commands as well. I'm sure he'll get his memories back in time." said Rita.

Rita shrugged.

"Well I did start off as his servant. We did fall in love eventually. Although my original plan was to use a love potion to make him love me then I was going to take over the army. But along the way I fell in love and he really fell in love with me. A year later the potion was reversed and Zedd still loved me. My servant Finster told me the love potion just awoke feelings Zedd had for me that he'd buried or ignored." said Rita.

Rita chuckled at his words.

"And I will. critic's army and ask that guy's arm will be crushed. Although we may keep some around as slaves." said Rita.

Rita shrugged at that.

"I'm not sure. He doesn't even remember me. How would he remember our son?" said Rita.

Rita smiled again at him.

"I'm sorry I haven't spent more time with you before. We're both sorcerers with annoying teenagers as enemies. Perhaps it's time to fix that. I want to know everyone in this army as I did in my old one. Their strengths, their weaknesses. Especially weaknesses so we can conceal or fix them." said Rita.
