Come and Get It (Facilier's Army)

(ooc: Thanksgiving thread for Facilier''s army. You don't have to put everyone in here. Some of mine wont' be here cause they're animals or monsters.)

Shaggy had been in the kitchen cooking some Thanksgiving. It had been a tradition for him to eat with his family and friends back home. He wasn't sure how many were going to show up but he was going to make it even if he had left overs for awhile.

Elliot & Pete smelled the food as he came out seeing Shaggy cooking.

"It's Thanksgiving already? I forgot. This will be great Eillot." said Pete.

Elliot made some chirping noises in his language as he grinned. He was a bit hungry and would enjoy eating with the group. Pete sat down at the table and Elliot sat on the ground next to it as they waited to be served.

Malachite walked in with Rita as they'd been talking about something when they spotted the food. Seeing Shaggy cooking with Pete and Elliot sitting down. He turned to Rita with a grin.

"I don't remember the last time I've eaten Thanksgiving. But I'm going to eat. You don't have to stay if you have plans with Zedd." said Malachite.

He headed to the table sitting down next to Pete with a grin.

Rita was surprised at it as well but when Malachite said she didn't have to go as he was going to stay. Probably to humor his son but the food did smell good. A celebration to eat didn't sound that bad. If she didn't like the food or got tired she could always leave. So she took a seat at the table as well.

Gi, Yuki, Jasper, Leonardo, DH, and Jason soon followed also smelling that delicious smell. Yuki joined Shaggy in the kitchen helping prepare the food while the rest sat down at the table deciding to stay as they were all a bit hungry.

Facilier went down smelling the food and saw that people were already gathering around. This was strange then he heard Pete and Malachite mention thanksgiving and the leader smiled. This seemed like a good idea to get together and not work. A break like this was nice. Facilier sat next to malachite and responded "So you're a bit nostalgic I see? Never thought I'd be nostalgic for thanksgiving myself but whatever. It's not a bad holiday"

"Thanksgiving? The best holiday in me life! Well back at home we just called it the fall feast but it's the same sort of traditions!" Harry Percy cried enthusiastically. He patted Shaggy on the back as he came down and replied "Ahh, tis lovely smells ya cookin for us laddie! Tis really good!" He was basically complimenting Shaggy's cooking and he was just enthusiastic about this. He then grinned enthusastically at Yuki "Ya cook doctor? That's real skill mate" He went over to sit next to gi after stating this, realizing he was looking at yuki far more than the food

Olive smelled the smells and went downstairs in a jiffy, knowing exactly those types of smells. It was thanksgiving! Sure it wasn't christmas but it was still extremely important to him. Thanksgiving was a time for family and being together. Though his memories of the holiday were just him and his mother eating a turkey and mashed potatoes, perhaps the group experience would make it better. He made a buzzline and saw harry near gi and instantly a pang of jealousy seeped into his heart before he could stop it. Sure harry was a lot older and didn't seem interested but olive's childish mind was really not amused with this. So he went to Pete and sat next to him. He turned to elliot with a smile and responded "Heya elliot!" He then turned to pete and asked "Did he chirp?"

Jafar, Cruella De-vil, Prick and King Candy all went down to eat. They loved the smell and didn't see why not. Prick say next to jasper, King candy sat next to jason, Cruella sat near rita and Jafar went next to DH.

As was the case with so many others, the smell of food was what brought Lord Zedd down to the table. It took a minute for the significance of the day to hit him.

Thanksgiving. Zedd had never celebrated the holiday himself, but he had spied on – err, observed the Power Rangers enough to have a basic idea of it. Personally he found nothing significant about the day. The warlord saw it only as an interlude between Halloween, which appealed to him, and Christmas, a holiday he truly despised. Still, he had nothing better to do at the moment, so he could join the festivities, even if eating was out of the question.

Zedd slid into the closest seat seconds before realizing that he was now directly next to one Rita Repulsa. Try as he might, he couldn’t bring himself to be annoyed with this. He toyed with his silverware for a moment, trying to find something to say to her. In the end, he could only manage a decidedly civil, “Hello, Rita.”

Malachite grinned. He turned to Facilier and smiled.

"Yes. Although I've had similar celebrations throughout my life time. But Thanksgiving is a more recent holiday I suppose as it's only a couple hundred years while I'm much older." said Malachite.

Shaggy turned to Harry with a grin.

"Thanks. I enjoy cooking. Although I've never cooked for such a big group before. Usually it's my mother and aunts and sister and cousins who end up cooking Thanksgiving back home." said Shaggy.

Shaggy then blushed at Yuki's response to Harry but he did find their banter and flirting amusing. After he broke up with Googie and then Crystal turned out to be an alien he hadn't really done much dating. There was even times he'd been interested in Velma and Daphne but he'd never acted on them. He sighed knowing if there was someone out for them he'd meet them some day.

Yuki turned to Harry and grinned.

"Thanks. I have few other skills we can talk about." said Yuki.

Pete grinned.

"Yep. It's how he talks. It sounds like a bunch of chirps and noises but it's his language. I've gotten use to just knowing what he's saying even if I don't know the exact words. We've just known each other too well." said Pete.

Elliot nodded with a grin. He really liked Olive and Malachite now. He had his doubts in the beginning but they'd given Pete a new home and he was glad for that.

Gi paused looking over at Olive who sat next to Pete. She moved over sitting next to Olive with a grin giving him a hug.

"Happy Thanksgiving Olive." said Gi.

She grinned at the banter between Harry and Yuki and chuckled. She leaned over and whispered to Olive.

"By the way you don't have to worry about Harry. I don't think I'm his type. He seems more interested in Yuki." said Gi.

Jasper turned to Prick and grinned.

"Hello Prick. You working on anything new." said Jasper.

Jason turned seeing King Candy and bowed once to show his respect. While Zedd was his master King Candy was still a king after all. It just felt right to show his respect.

"Good morning your highness." said Jason, cordially.

DH turned seeing Jafar and smiled.

"Hello Jafar. Good to see you. You have any festivals or feasts like Thanksgiving where you're from?" asked DH.

Leo remained silent not having anything to say although the food smelled delicious. And for some reason he had a craving for turkey pizza which Shaggy had made at his request.

Rita smiled at Malachite.

"I don't have any plans. I'm starving." said Rita.

Rita saw Cruella and Zedd join her. She smiled at Cruella but then heard Zedd say hello. She grinned.

"Hello Zedd." said Rita.

"Oh? Care to tell me more about your holidays then?" Facilier asked politely, smiling kindly to malachite. He couldn't help but be happier when malachite was around. That and he wanted to chat with someone he liked. He felt the holiday had to be enjoyable in order for him to get into it. So he was doing it in this way by chatting with malachite

"Ah. That explains your talent then!" Harry replied to shaggy as the wolf-man explained it's been in his family for a while due to tradition. He turned to Yuki who thanked him and commented back that he had other skills. Harry grinned, some sort of flirtyness and attraction coming off from it. He got closer to Yuki, trying to whisper low enough for only him to hear "I believe it love. Care to share me them, once dinner is over? I think I have some skills of me own that'd make you blush harder than shaggy over there" He gave a smooch on the cheek, awaiting yuki's response

"It's like charlie brown with his mom or dad. I like it though. It's cute" Olive responded to pete before petting Elliot's snout. He too really enjoyed Elliot, he was like the family pet and any friend of pete's was pretty much his own friend. He then turned to see Gi and he grinned happily, hugging her tightly "Happy thanksgiving to you too Gi. Glad you're here with us" Olive then blushed red as Gi said that harry was preferring yuki so olive didn't have competition. "I'm not jealous of harry if that's what you're implying. I just didn't want him near you is all" Olive retorted

"Not really but it's nice talking to you jasper. Yourself doing anything new?" Prick said as Jasper came near him. King candy meanwhile smiled as Jason said good morning to him and bowing for him. King candy nodded and responded calmly "A good morning to you Jason. Thank you for that lovely greeting"

"No. Unfortunately not. Care to tell me about what thanksgiving is?" Jafar asked politely as DH started talking to him. The wizard liked the boy and didn't want to be rude.
