I Swear I Saw A Dragon (Open)

[Elliot]

(March 8th. Evening. Elliot's introduction thread.)

Elliot flew into the circus arena. He was sure Pete was here. He chattered looking around for him speaking in his native tongue. He then heard footsteps and not sure who it was turned invisible as he was still nervous at meeting new people.

Pete yawned as he walked around. He had been allowed out and about now. He'd offered to be one of the medics while he trained so he could prove he was loyal and with some backup from Malachite the others had relented. He was glad to be out of that room. He was so grateful for his new family. He was being given a chance and he would prove to them he could do it.

However it wasn't all good news. Malachite's injuries from a raid on Critic's camp a few days ago were pretty bad. Pete spent most of the time in the lab along with Olive. Malachite had asked him to let him rest and he'd reluctantly left. And now he was just wandering around the camp.  He heard noises coming from the circus arena as he made his way to it. He walked in not seeing anyone and looked confused. Had he heard wrong?

Malachite was walking around as well. He wouldn't be fighting for awhile but thanks to his magic and the magic from the Friends, Facilier, Rita, and others he was feeling a lot better. Granted Facilier, Olive, and Pete kept insisting he stay in bed and get some rest. So he'd faked wanting to sleep to sneak out and walk around. He paused seeing Pete and was about to go but saw him walk into circus arena. Wondering what Pete was doing there this late he walked in as well. He stayed hidden so Pete didn't see him watching from afar.

Myotismon walked out to the cirus tent. He saw Pete and walked up to him. He was suspicious of the boy. After all 8 children from his universe were destined to destroy him and bring peace to the real and digital worlds. So of course he was not very comfortable around children. But he would be civil to him. He was one of Malachite's new sons and he knew the penalty for hurting or even threatening one of them. Thankfully he'd been one of the few villains to not get severely hurt during the last battle so he was perfectly fine.

"Hello Pete. What are you doing out here so late?" asked Myotismon.

Elliot meanwhile had seen Pete and was happy to see him. But when Myotismon showed up he thought Pete was in danger. He turned visible and roared at Myotismon breathing fire at him. But to his shock Pete stood in the way as he stopped looking confused.

"Bwer?" asked Elliot.

A circus. How charming.

The man found himself wandering about in the Shadowlands. There was definitely something wrong going on with this place. He could swear he found a newspaper roughly fifty years or so into the future. If he was right, it was supposed to be the early 1960's. Magneto wasn't in the 60's now. He was convinced it was a strange dream, and now he was wandering throughout some strange land. One of the first things he noticed was a circus tent. How many mutants were put on display for the enjoyment of humans? Erik hadn't the faintest clue, but he was quick to assume that mutants were being shown off at these co-called circuses. As much as the thought of walking into a tent sickened him, he might be able to find someone like him within there, and perhaps get some information from them.

The mutant had walked towards the tent, hands stuffed into his jacket pockets as he did so. There was an odd sound coming from the tent just before he entered. The sound of flames swooshing at someone. Well, that was certainly different. He paused, debating on whether this was such a good idea or not. Well, if things went bad, he could book it out of there. Or if there was any substantial metal around, then he could use that to his advantage too. He peeked into the tent to find a dragon and a couple of people.

That... wasn't quite what he was expecting. Was it such a good idea to walk in after all?

[Shere-Khan]

Dr. Facilier was admittedly hurt that Malachite was injured and with the help of his sons successfully got him to bed, unknowing of what lurked in the shadows. He went for a walk about to only hear flames swooshing, and instantly he was on edge. He came in suddenly to see a man, pete and myotismon near a... a DRAGON?! Ok, that got his attention really fast. He did distrust pete but he cared for him a lot too, because he was malachite's kid and that he was just that, a child. Pete seemed no harm so far and facilier was planning to care for him anyway but he still was on edge but his distrust was more replaced with worry for the boy as the dragon was near them. "Back off you!" Facilier said aiming the cane at the dragon. He protectively got in front of pete and myotismon, assuming the creature was here to attack. He was about to shoot it when Olive spoke and said this was possibly a friend of pete's. Not wanting to be rude to pete Facilier, despite his concern, asked politely "Is it true pete? Do you know this dragon?" He sneered to the dragon "If he doesn't belong to you, it doesn't belong here at all"

Hearing the noise, olive was quick to get a idea of what was going on. He heard Facilier shout, flame swooshing and saw a sight that seemed pretty chaotic so far. There was a man he didn't know yet, Myotismon and pete behind Facilier who seemed to be ready to attack a dragon. Remembering that pete had a dragon friend, Olive quickly assumed this was it. So he ran and said "Facilier wait!" He was quick to go and said "Pete told me once that he had a dragon friend and I promised that I would keep an eye out for it. I think this is pete's friend" He turned at the same time Facilier did to Pete as the doctor asked if the dragon was pete's. Olive gulped and turned to Pete "I'm right right? This is elliot and that he's yours and not just a dragon trying to kill us?"

Shere-Khan was admittedly annoyed with the idea of trusting humans but after hearing about Mowgli and Kaa being allies, he despised the idea alone to get revenge by doing this idea. For now though he stuck to the shadows of the bushes near the tent, and heard tons of shouting as well as seeing some flames. Maybe some humans won't live. Delightful Shere-Khan thought bitterly. He shook his head, remembering he needed to join a army or he had to be captured by humans or worse, be discovered by mowgli and be hunted down. So he sunk low and smirked as the conversations continued on. He would appear soon enough. Oh yes he would

"Huh. Must've had one drink too many."

Silver eyes blinked repeatedly as the muscular male found himself stumbling about in a creepy circus. "Was I in Chicago last night? You know, I honestly have no idea," he grumbled to himself, "I haven't the faintest idea how I came to a circus though. I'm not sure I want to know either, so I'm just gonna leave it at that." He paused for a moment, his brows scrunching together as he did so. "And now I'm talking to myself. Looks like it's gonna be a sunshine day today." With a shake of his head, he then noticed another man standing at a circus tent. Sounded like something was going on in there. He stood beside the guy, unaware that it was a mutant he was next to, and looked inside.

Maybe Darren wasn't thinking too clearly, because it wasn't long until he decided to step inside. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, when did the circus have dragons? No, I'm serious, when was this a thing?"

[Elliot]

Pete darted forward stopping Elliot.

"No! No! Elliot stop. They're friends." said Pete.

He paused looking up seeing Facilier show up and smiled. He could tell he was really close with his father. How his father seemed to smile when Malachite was around.

"Yes. He's my friend. He's a bit overprotective of me. But he won't hurt anyone. These are all my friends Elliot. When I got sent here I got a new family. I'll miss Nora, Lampie, and Paul but I have a new family now. This is my brother Olive and I'm sure you'll meet my father Malachite soon." said Pete.

Pete paused as Elliot pulled Malachite out from the bleachers.

"Elliot it's ok. He's my new father who should be in bed." said Pete.

He frowned folding his arms at him.

Myotismon smirked seeing the dragon.

"Don't worry about it Pete. There's no harm done. He was just protecting you. The fact that you could befriend and tame such a powerful beast like Elliot makes you a valuable asset. You have my respect boy." said Myotismon.

Elliot smiled looked sheepish and chuttered out an apology. He paused looking at the bleachers curiously as he could sense someone was there. He pointed at it walking closer and pulled out Malachite. He smiled at the man who had taken in Pete and glanced at Olive sniffing him and grinned as if approving both of them for Pete's new family. He grinned at them and made chattering noises as if saying hello.

Malachite looked in surprise as Elliot found him and pulled him out.

"Well at least I know Pete's in good hands with you. I'm Pete's new father Malachite." said Malachite.

He paused as Elliot smiled at him as if he approved him. He was glad for that. He didn't want Elliot mad at him.

"I didn't realize Pete was here until I got here. But when I saw the two of you I couldn't leave until I made sure he was ok. I guess I'll be going." said Malachite.

He paused looking at Olive, Pete, and Facilier who didn't look happy he was out of bed.

"Don't be mad. I just wanted to walk around for a bit. I never liked resting." said Malachite.

He paused seeing Erik and Darren arrived.

"Welcome strangers. Have you come to join the army? I'm Malachite. One of the leaders here." said Malachite.

Shaggy heard the commotion and soon arrived in the tent. He saw things seem to calm hearing the end of it as the dragon was a friend of Pete's. Well at least it wasn't another attack. He saw Darren and walked over to him.

"Hey. I'm Shaggy. Yeah. Our circus isn't really a normal one I suppose. We have a lot of unique acts." said Shaggy.

There was something about Darren that made him want to protect him and stick by him. Facilier and Moarte had been helping him some with adjusting to being a full time werewolf now. Last time he'd only been a werewolf for a couple days but this was permanent. At least Facilier had let him choose when he was a human or werewolf now. He paused as they'd told him he would be able to sense when other werewolves were present like a sixth sense or something. Was that what this feeling was? Was Darren a werewolf too?

[Shere-Khan]

Shere-khan watched more from the shadows and saw yet more people go into the tent. One was a young, muscular man and another was quite a thin-looking wolf and the two seemed to discuss with the rest of what was going on. Shere-Khan sighed, knowing he wasn't going to learn anything about these people by just staying to the shadows, and reluntinately got inside the tent as well. He looked over the majority of the people in disapproval, besides Elliot who indeed was something to fear because of his unknown type of species. Shere-Khan after a few moments of staring responded "Well. This indeed is quite the unique display. Pardon the interuption. I am Shere-Khan. I have come to see if there are still more allies welcome to join this place" He still didn't like the majority of people here but keeping enemies closer than friends was something Shere-Khan lived by.

Facilier immediately eased himself when Elliot was confirmed to know Pete. Yes Facilier was willing to trust Pete's word now. The magician did care for malachite individually as well as care for his children individually, so it was a relief to hear that the dragon was not here to harm the child. On the contrary the dragon was here to protect the child. Good, that meant pete had a high chance of taking care of himself due to the fact he had a dragon under his will. "Alright, I believe you kiddo. Good thing ya got a dragon on your side pete" He nodded at mystomon's words, agreeing with what he said and responded "That's right. The fact ya tamed such a powerful animal makes ya smarter than I thought"

The fact pete had a dragon made facilier have admiration that pete had something as powerful as that as a ally. He stood his cane down and gave the dragon a smile "Well. Nice to meet you elliot. Sorry for the hot head. Ya'll gave me quite a scare" He then was confused as Elliot pulled out malachite and Facilier's smile turned into a concerned frown. Unlike the annoyed children, facilier's approach was more affectionate. Yes he wasn't happy but he wasn't mad either, he was worried that malachite was going to hurt himself. The man came over and looked over malachite concerned "I know malachite but you really shouldn't mess with your wounds like this. I'm not mad but.. you really shouldn't mess with your injuries. It'll make them worse" He went over to help malachite "You need help getting back inside?" Facilier felt he needed to help. Which was odd. Because facilier never wanted to help anyone unless it was for himself but malachite and his children seemed to bring out the best in him.

He turned to the new three people, Darren, Shere-Khan and Erik. "Sorry for the disturbances all. I assure you this little panic session doesn't happen often" He turned to darren and nodded as shaggy vouched that their circus was different "We have a dragon just now. We're just as new to a dragon as you are fella. I'm Dr. Facilier, ringleader of this circus and leader of the army. Ya'll wanna join?" He turned to Shere-Khan and responded "You're not interupting shere-khan and yes, we have plenty of space for more people. Make yourself at home"

Olive made a whew sound in relief as pete confirmed his suspicions. He turned to see elliot immediately calmed by pete and giggled as elliot sniffed him over. "Stop that tickles!" Olive laughed before petting Elliot's snout playfully, now that he knew elliot was a friend Olive really wanted to get to know the dragon and make elliot a part of their family. He then turned to see Malachite out of the bleachers thanks to Elliot's curiousity and Olive crossed his arms also annoyed with their father. "Yeah. He shouldn't really be hurting his injuries" Olive though eased his tension as Malachite responded kindly to not be mad at him. He sighed and nodded "Me and pete aren't mad dad, we just don't want you to worsen your injuries" He then was grateful that Facilier was on their side and was trying to help malachite get back inside. Olive then looked instantly at Shere-Khan and tension rose within his heart, Olive liked animals but tigers were something that he didn't particularly like. Mostly because he was afraid of them. He got in front of Pete protectively as shere-khan came into the picture, trying to cover up his own fear.

The werewolf was surprised to get a response. Wait, army? Is that what they were calling the circus these days? An army of strange people? A strange look appeared upon Darren's face as he tried to figure out why a circus would be an army too. Unsure of how to respond to anyone, his silver eyes stared at Shaggy. There was definitely something different about him. Something vaguely familiar. His nose scrunched up as he inhaled the air quickly. His sense of smell wasn't as strong as it would be if he were in his canine form, but it was still fairly strong. There was a dog-like smell nearby. Either someone had been close to a canine recently, or someone nearby was afflicted with lycanthropy as well. If it was the latter, Darren would have been willing to bet money that it was Shaggy. "Uh huh, unique," he muttered, slight suspicion in his voice as he looked over Shaggy. If Darren was completely sure that the guy in front of him was a werewolf too, there was no doubt in his mind that he would loosen up.

For now, though, it would probably be wise to keep up a skeptical outlook.

His silver gaze fell upon Malachite, then briefly at the dragon simply because it was too hard to look away from such a creature, then switched back and forth between Malachite and Facilier. He gave a shrug. "A war? I dunno, that sounds kinda dangerous. Eh, but what the hell, I live for danger and variety. Sure, I'll join this little circus gangster squad you've got assembled here. Not like I've got anything better to do anyway." Other than going out to some clubs. Might be nice to hit up a bar or two in town...

Erik, unlike his fellow canine newcomer, wasn't quite so expressive in his reactions. He kept his expressions calm and cold, leaving his emotions only known to him. He lifted a hand upward and cupped his chin, blue eyes observing the scene before him. Beasts, men, a circus, and a war. Quite the combination. He removed his hand from his face and brought it back down to his side. "A war? Who's fighting against who?" the mutant decided to ask. It was better to know what was going on than to blindly jump into something, wasn't it? If Magneto didn't ask, he could end up on the wrong side of this so-called war, or be caught fighting in a war he didn't belong in. Even if he didn't join them, it might not be so bad to gather information on what was going on around here.

If he was unable to find a way back home soon, then it would be beneficial for Magneto to figure out all he could about his current whereabouts.

[Malachite Gamic]

Pete was humbled by Myotismon and Facilier's praise.

"But I didn't tame Elliot. He's not my pet. He's my friend. And he doesn't always listen to me. That's what got me into trouble in Passamaquoddy in the first place." said Pete.

He saw Elliot looked sheepish about that and Pete grinned hugging Elliot.

"It's okay Elliot. I already forgave you for that." said Pete.

He paused agreeing with Olive and Facilier.

"They're right dad. I'm not really mad at you. I'm just worried. I don't want anything to happen to you." said Pete.

Elliot looked sad as Pete brought up the trouble he caused but Pete wasn't mad about it. He smiled seeing Pete had a new family here and grinned at Olive's laugh. Olive and Malachite both seemed like a really good fit for Pete. He grinned when Olive laughed as he sniffed him. He chuckled as well. He looked at Olive wondering if he'd been sent here not just to reunite with Pete but to perhaps protect Olive too.

Myotismon nodded.

"Still impressive you became good friends with him. He'll make a powerful ally." said Myotismon.

He turned as others arrived seeing a tiger, and a couple other humans.

"Impressive. Welcome to the circus and the army. If you're joining that is." said Myotismon.

Malachite smiled glad Pete, Facilier, and Olive wasn't that mad at him.

"I think I can manage but I appreciate the offer. But you're probably going to follow me back into the house anyway so you could walk with me inside." said Malachite.

He turned back to Pete and smiled.

"Nothing's going to happen to me. But perhaps I should head back and get some rest I suppose." said Malachite.

Shaggy grinned at Darren. He paused looking at the guy nervously deciding he had to ask.'

"I just want to know are you a werewolf too? This is my second time as a werewolf and I'm a bit new to this. So I think you could be one. If you're not let me know so I can improve on these powers. I want to be able to know if another werewolf is near. Especially if it's an enemy werewolf from one of the other camps." said Shaggy.

He paused as Darren agreed to join them and grinned.

"This is great. Welcome aboard. Glad to have more people here." said Shaggy.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Well I'm fighting against both these two fools named Ask Thatguy and Nostalgia critic. Ask Thatguy was once my leader but I backstabbed him due to the fact I found a better way to take control of this earth. I've grown tired of the fact the poor folk were taken advantage of that's why I'm planning to rule this place in a good way to help people. In a way I'm saving the world but Critic wants to keep it the way it is and Ask thatguy wants to keep it for himself" Facilier explained quickly to Magneto. He turned to Darren and smiled slightly "Splendid. I'm sure this is all bullshit in your eyes for the moment but you'll get used to the danger eventually. You won't regret joinin' up with me. I promise you"

He then smiled as Shere-khan made sure to confirm he was joining but then paid complete attention to malachite. He nodded "I know. I know ya'll can handle it. Just felt like askin'" He then grinned fondly as Malachite allowed the offer to walk with him anyway "I'd like that. It'll just be me being safe is all. Besides, I wanna talk to you on the way" He then nodded as malachite said he should get back and have rest "Yeah. Let me go with you. I think mystomon can help these two..." He pointed to magneto and darren "As well as shere khan feel themselves at home"

"I am glad to be welcomed. I'll be sure to enjoy what I can" Shere-khan said with a grim smile. Then he saw Olive go in front of Pete protectively and smirked, glad that at least one of them felt fearful of him. "I am pleased to see some man-cubs being able to fight now. It at least shows that the man-cubs can provide for themselves" He mumbled under his breath. He then looked about to see shaggy and grinned glad to see more animals around as well as grin in greeting to Elliot. Animals being here was a good sign. He then saw olive and pete talk and saw that these two boys were malachite's sons.

"Well the point is that dad just wanted to look about and that's all good. It's not that bad. He's at least near us" Olive said calmly about malachite's sneaking about the tent. He smiled as Pete showed he wasn't angry and he nodded "We know nothing will happen. Me and pete just get a bit antsy dad. It's fine. If something did happen I'd be upset too like pete would" He then giggled as Elliot smiled up at them and olive walked and began petting elliot's snout to show a sign of friendship to the dragon. He then saw Shere-khan speak and once again went to pete protectively. Olive had a fear of big wild cats, housecats were fine but big cats were his worst fear. Of course he wouldn't admit that so he just looked like he was protecting pete away from it. "I'm glad this tiger's on our side, he might eat us if he wasn't" Olive mumbled

The werewolf's attention was focused on Shaggy. Did he just hear him right? His tongue rolled over a top canine tooth as he looked over the other male. He was a werewolf too? For the second time? Wait a second. That must have meant he'd been cured before. That had to be the case. Darren hoped that was the case. Maybe he'd look into it another time. For now, he had to debate on giving away his secret right then and there. There was always a chance that whoever he was talking to was lying to him. For all Darren knew, he could be talking to a professional hunter who knew how to hunt down werewolves. Then again, Darren did feel like there was something off about the other male. Something familiar. Like he really was another werewolf too. Metallic hued eyes rolled upwards in thought, then returned to the other werewolf in front of him. Hesitantly, he opened his mouth to speak. "Yeah. Been one for about seven years, as a matter of fact," he boasted with false confidence.

It wasn't something he was proud of, but he figured it would make him look much better if it seemed like he was. It would make him look like an expert, like he knew how to handle himself. His attention returned to Facilier and he let out a laugh. "With all due respect, I've seen a whole lot of BS and danger in my life. I doubt you could throw anything at me I couldn't handle. Name's Darren, by the way." He decided it might be a good plan to introduce himself if he was going to be sticking around these people, err, creatures. Last names seemed unimportant at the moment, so he opted out of revealing his surname.

A slightly suspicious brow was raised at Facilier's words. The leader was pretty open about backstabbing someone. He explicitly said he betrayed someone. Then again, some might describe Erik the same way. After all, once Charles made it clear he was siding with humanity versus siding with mutants, Erik knew he had to leave him. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that someone would think of it as a betrayal. Thoughts of himself quickly disappeared though as he reflected further on what this leader had to say. Help change the world? Take control? A thought slipped into his head. If he worked alongside these people, that might work to his advantage. He could show off his powers and convince them that mutants were far better than men.

"I believe the world could use some changes," he replied to the leader. "It looks like I'll join your cause, then."

[Shaggy Rogers]

Pete grinned turning to Olive.

"Thanks for backing me up. I'm a bit worried about dad but looks like Facilier's got things handled." said Pete.

He paused as Olive steeped in front of Pete trying to protect him from him.

"Olive it's ok. If the tiger was going to attack he would have by now. He wants to join us after all." said Pete.

He smiled as Malachite left with Facilier. At least he would be getting some more rest soon.

Elliot glanced at the tiger and smiled glad to see another animal here. He walked up to him and smiled. He spoke to him in what sounded like chirps and odd sounds as he was speaking in dragon language. Pete understood him but he realized not everyone would. He would need a way to fix that especially if Pete wasn't around. He gave up realizing Shere Khan couldn't possibly understand him so he just waved instead.

Myotismon watched as Facilier was going to take Malachite back in. He walked over to Darren and Shaggy and paused. He could sense something different about them. Shaggy was a werewolf and he could sense something familiar in Darren. That's when he realized Darren must be a werewolf as well. He didn't want to disturb them though so he walked over to Magneto and smiled.

"Hello. I'm Myotismon. Welcome to the army. Do you have any superpowers? You a scientist? A warrior? I'm just curious cause we have plenty of each of those. But we could always use more help." said Myotismon.

Shaggy smiled listening to him.

"Seven years? Wow. I was only a werewolf for one night the first time. A spell was put on me that I eventually broke. But this time it's unfortunately permanent. Facilier turned me into a werewolf when he brought me here. Said something about reactivating the old curse with some new twists. But he also gave me the offer of being his familiar so I can control my wolf form and also get to turn into my human form again. Before I was stuck as a werewolf all the time and that wasn't fun at all." said Shaggy.

He paused as Darren and Facilier spoke and then Facilier left with Malachite. Shaggy grinned as he looked at Darren wondering if he could help him.

"You think you could help me? I have very little experience being a werewolf and you seem to have a lot more than I do. Perhaps you could help train me. Maybe give me some pointers?" asked Shaggy.

He remained silent waiting for Darren to reply with his answer.

outside:

Malachite turned to Facilier and smiled.

"Alright, you can come with me. As long as you promise not to treat me any differently than you normally would." said Malachite.

He grinned as he walked out with Facilier. Once they were far enough away from the group he turned to him curious.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" asked Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

Outside

"None taken, son. I'm glad you've handled things like this. Glad you seem to be ready for anythin'" Facilier quickly said to Darren and responded to shaggy "Make sure these new people make themselves at home. I'm gonna take malachite in for a bit" He then turned to Magneto who said he felt he would join their causes seeing the world needed some changes. Facilier warmly smiled at the man "Splendid. We can use men like you I'm sure. Welcome" He then bowed his goodbyes and repeated that he had to leave and so went alongside malachite outside. He nodded calmly as malachite said that he needed to not treat him any differently than he normally would. Facilier wasn't great with promises but he wanted to do it for malachite's sake.

He had to admit he wasn't sure what else to say but he felt the need to continue his feelings that he had for malachite. Now that his children were away, facilier felt a bit more confidence with it. He came closer and responded "Well, more or less I wanna talk about you. About us. I really want to confess a lot of things. I mean I've confessed stuff before in my day but.. well yeah. Let's just say that if you died during that battle with spoony, I don't think I would've gotten over it"

Olive nodded when pete thanked him for backing him up and agreed silently that facilier had things under control when it came to their father. He then meanwhile stood beside elliot and Peter but glared slightly to Shere-Khan. Ally or no ally, tigers were something olive was not fond of and from the looks of shere-khan the tiger didn't seem to like olive that much either. He turned to pete who said it was fine and proved rightly that if shere-khan was there to attack them, he would've done so. Reluctantly, Olive stepped down but his protectiveness was evident with his look over to the tiger.

"Hi there" Olive's greeting sounded nice but the tone was a bit hissy, as if forced to be nice. "I'm olive and this is my little brother pete, in case you didn't hear our names from earlier. And this is elliot, my brother's dragon. Also just so you know" Olive sounded very blunt as he spoke, as if to point out that olive and pete were brothers and that a dragon belonged to pete. Shere-khan could've cared less about the boy's dislike of him, he was glad both pete and elliot were nice to him even though pete's defense wasn't entirely liked. He saw the dragon chirp and talk but shere-khan didn't really understand therefore looked at the dragon in confusion but when the dragon waved, shere-khan widened his eyes getting the message and politely waved in return. Elliot, out of everyone, was the one shere-khan was most interested and tolerant of. He then saw olive, admittedly forced, speak to him and introduce himself, elliot and pete. Shere-khan chuckled, seeing what olive was trying to do and played along "Ah. A pleasure to you two man-cubs. A pleasure to meet you elliot" He nodded to the dragon.

"Very interesting to see a dragon be within your power, pete. I think he should get a translator though, if you wish me to speak so, due to my huge lack of knowledge of other languages. Forgive me elliot" Shere-khan was more than willing to play nice and talk nicely to elliot, both out of natural respect and fear of elliot's status but olive wasn't scary to him and pete was just a background part to the tiger. Though, knowing how malachite talked to them, he assumed that the two boys were under his protection so he had to tread lightly. "I am aware of your fear of me, olive.
