Why did you pick him/her?: More Avengers and the angst of Thor and Loki.

Personality: He values strength, courage, and loyalty above everythingelse. He was close to Loki growing up as children and his betrayal hurt him. Even though he knows Loki is evil, has tried to hurt him and several others, a small part of him still misses the brother he grew up with. He wishes to be like his father a war hero. He often speaks of the battles he will win and monsters he will destroy when he becomes king. He fell for Jane Foster during his time on Earth and then he returned to help the Avengers quickly befriending the team despite a few arguments and misgivings in the beginning. He values them as allies and would come to their aid whenever they asked him to. Although he can be a bit reckless as it was hinted at in early missions with Loki and others. And he still does at times but has started to get better at that working with teams especially with the Avengers.
History:
Thor grew up in Asgard as a happy child with his parents Odin and Frigga and his adopted brother Loki. They were rivals for the throne but that didn't stop them from being close friends and brothers. Thor was eventually chosen to succeed Odin as king. As the ascension ceremony began but they were interrupted as the Frost Giants attacked trying to steal the Casket of Ancient Winters. Thor, Loki, and Odin go to the vault to find the Frost Giants killed as the Destroyer beat them to it. Thor decides they should retaliate but forbids him to. Thor defies him and leads a group to interrogat Laufey and fail. Thor then leads a battle against Laufey and the Joutens which leaves many of them dead or seeking vengeance on him. Odin saves him but punishes him for this act. He strips him of his hammer and powers making him mortal. Then he sends him to Earth to live. Thor lands in New Mexico and is met by Jane, Eric, and Darcy who nearly hit him with their truck. He is tazored by Darcy who freaked out at his behavior knocking him out.
Thor woke up in a hospital. Thinking he's a prisoner he escapes and meets Jane Foster and wants to know how ended up in the storm that brought him to Earth. Thor is attracted to Jane and learns from overhearing a conversation his hamor Mjoinir had followed him to Earth. Erik accuses him of being insane and Thior leaves. However he bumps into Jane again at the site. Thor slips by the agents but find he can't lift the hamemr since he is no longer worthy. He's arrested and taken into SHIELD. He is tricked by a vision of Loki who tells him Odin is dead and Thor's banishment is conditional on the truce with the Joutons.
Thor immediately feels depressed about his father's death but is rescued by Erick who tells them Thor is a former physician named Donald Blake. Thor returns to Jane and gives her some of the research SHIELD had stolen from her. He then tells her about Asgard, the Nine Realms, and the rest of his life for the first time. The next day his friends from Asgard arrive to bring him home saying Odin is alive and Loki has taken over Asgard. Loki sends the Destroyer to kill Thor, wiping out a small town in the process. After they fail to stop Lothor Thor sacrifices himself to save the Earth. Destroyer wounds him fatally but in doing so Thor is worthy again as the hammer returns to him restoring his godhood and his powers saving his life. Thor then defeats the destroyer and forms an alliance with Phil Coulson and SHIELD. He kisses Jane goodbye promising he will return to her before returning to Asgard with his friends.
Once there Thor reveals all to Frigga and battles Loki at Bifrost which is destroyting the kingdom of Joutunheim. Thor shatters the rainbow bridge destroying Bifrost and saving the Joutuns. The two fall into space but are rescued by Odin. Realizing he didn't get the respect he wanted Loki let himself fall into the abyss. Thor mourned his death and wanted to see Jane again but with the Bifrost gone he can't retunr to Earth. He make amends with his father and hopes one day he can return. A year later Thor realizes Loki is alive and stole the Tessaract and fled to Earth. Thor arrives on Earth with help of Odin using dark energy. His girlfriend Jane was sent into hiding so he wasn't able to meet up with her at the time but he did kidnap Loki from Black Widow, Stark, and Captain America trying to get him to give back the Teseract. Instead Iron Man and Captain America end up fighting him trying to get Loki back and Thor eventually agrees to go back with them.
A team is formed of the Avengers. Black Widow. Thor. Captain America. Iron Man. And Bruce as their technical support. During their time their they end up fighting thanks to Loki's influence and Bruce transforms into the Hulk. Hawkeye was taken over by Loki earlier and leads other brainwashed agents to attack the base. He is knocked out free of Loki's control by Black Widow while Thor is beaten and watches as Loki kills Phil and banishes Thor to the earth by dropping the cage he had switched places with Loki with. Then Hulk is flung out jumping onto a nearby plane which crashes into the ocean taking him with it. The avengers all eventually regruop int the city as Loki's friends the Chitauri are trying to come through a portal.
Bruce turns into the Hulk again as the 7 avengers split up to clear the streets and fight the aliens. The eventually get all the civilians, cops, and everyone else out of the way for the fight. Tony directs a nuke meant to hit the city towards the portal and Black Widow closes it. Thankfully Tony who had been stuck on the other side falls out in time before the portal closed. The group celebrated at a swarma restaraunt before going their seperate ways. Thor taking Loki and the Tesaract back to Asgard. Black Widow and Hawkeye on call if Shield needs them as their still SHIELD agents. But Captain America, Iron Man, and Bruce went their seperate ways to have their own avengers.
But then Loki vanished from Asgard. He used the Teseract to return to Earth and learned Steve, Tony, Bruce, and Tony's girlfriend Pepper had also disappeared. He is pulled in taking the Teseract not trusting it to be left behind in SHIELD headquarters. He wakes up outside the Critic's home to find three of the Avengers and Pepper are here and there is a war. He agrees to help them hoping to one day return to their world to reunite with Jane and to see his father and people again.
