Party On Dudes

[Gene The Genie]

(February 24th. Open to everyone on Critic's side. Party thrown by Gene & 90's Kid to try to cheer everyone up and have fun.)

Gene grinned at he looked at the place. They had certainly done quite well. Everyone else had been out training or shopping or playing. He'd made sure to plan this when everyone was gone. Except for his partner in crime 90's Kid. He enjoyed hanging out with him and learning two of his close friends Iheart and Chester were among the captives made him want to throw the party even more for his new friend as well as the rest of the army. He paused turning to 90's Kid.

"I can't wait until they get here. This is going to be such fun." said Gene, giggling.

Ma-Ti was the first to walk in and was amazed at the change in the place. The place looked like a resort or a really fancy party with everything decorated and there was tons of food and he could hear music playing spotting a radio in the corner.

"Incredible. You two did all of this? But why?" asked Ma-Ti.

Freckles, Diablo, Littlefoot, and Tender Heart were amused at the idea of a party but they were all pretty tired so they headed upstairs after grabbing some food and headed to bed. Linksano, Nostalgia Chick, Roses, Diamanda, Maven, Wayne, Marzgurl, Nella, Dr. Tease, Jasmine, Grimhilde, Mrs. Potts, Kim, Rogue, Brock, and Willie all arrived one by one and were also shocked at the party. They all got some food and drinks and took their seats.

"A party? It's about time we had another one of these." said Dr. Tease.

She grinned looking around for Steve but saw he wasn't here yet. So she took a beer deciding to watch for now.

Mrs. Potts was about to help but Gene motioned for her to sit.

"You help us out a lot. You take it easy tonight. Let us wait on you." said Gene.

Mrs. Potts was surprised at that. She was used to being a servant. It was her job. Although of relaxing just for awhile was a nice idea so she agreed taking a seat.

Linksano headed over to 90's Kid impressed.

"You helped plan and do all this? I'd have thought we'd have heard about it by now but you surprised me. This looks like a great party." said Linksano.

[Nostalgia Critic]

Like Freckles, Diablo, Littlefoot and Tenderheart. Lilo, Wreck-it-Ralph, Kiara, Pepper, Bambi, Spirit, Master Splinter and Darla were also very tired and didn't want to join the party even though they thought the army needed something like this. After eating they also decided to go to sleep and allow the others to have fun instead. Morpheus was so obsessed with finding Nani that he declined the invitation, he sended his praise and regards before going off to his room to think of a proper plan for his beloved.

Meanwhile Tony Stark, Sherlock, Linkara, Spoony, Nostalgia Critic, Hal and Angry Joe came in to the shock of the new party both 90's Kid and Gene the Genie made

"Dude! I know! This was a totally radical idea you had magic-man!" Magic man was 90's Kid affectionate term for his new genie friend Gene. Although he sort of belonged to Grimhilde, the genie and he befriended very quickly and the genie's idea of a party really cheered 90's Kid up about the loss of IHeart and his best friend Chester. He grinned widely and responded to the people who came in for the party "Like surprise dudes! Let's party til we drop!" 90's kid smile dropped into a shocked frown when Linksano came to praise him for his efforts.

Instead of yelling proudly, the young innocent 90's kid just shrugged sheepishly "Well me and Gene were like depressed and saw you guys were depressed too. We wanted to cheer everybody up" He then blushed shyly at Linkara's praise also.

"Oh my gosh! You did this all by yourself with Gene, 90's kid? I'm really proud with this. Thanks 90's kid. You're really nice to have done this" Linkara responded seeing Linksano with the youngest member of his teen. Linkara felt they DID need a break and this was a perfect chance for it. Linkara saw Marzgurl and the others enjoy themselves and the comic book geek smiled, this was a nice change of pace from the usual doom and gloom.

Elsewhere Joe was already getting his party on "Did someone say party?! It's about time!" He then saw Roses, and instantly his thoughts of dancing like nobody's business vanished. It was a while since he and Roses talked so the excitable man decided to change this. Joe went over to Roses and responded "Well hey there you. Haven't seen you in a while!"

Critic was tired but not enough to want to go to bed. On the contrary, he wanted to party too. The music, the good food and drinks, it was simply nice to come home with something like this after all they have been through. Critic's smile towards 90's kid and Gene was genuine and thankful, almost as if he was giving a blessing of approval. He turned to Chick and gave her a kiss on the lips "Now this is a nice change of pace for the both of us huh?"

Spoony was also pleased but he went over to Diamanda surprisingly instead of dancing. He got a big drink before going though, having a bad feeling she would say things that a sober person wouldn't be able to take. Although Gene took more to non-alcoholic drinks, Spoony found ways of making into a alcoholic beverage, like putting beer into it. Spoony went over and responded "Hey Hagan, long time no see huh?"

Sherlock was admittedly lonely. He didn't really have anyone to talk to, nor did he really have the knowledge of what to do at a party. Most of his time was with solving cases or doing experiments of SOME kind. Sherlock caught the look of Wayne and the more Wayne was around, the more Sherlock wanted both Wayne and Stone in the romantic way. He was in love with Stone but something about Wayne made him love the scientist too. Maybe it was because they shared the same body or the same look. Well, it didn't matter right now. Quickly, Sherlock went over to Wayne and said nervously "Uh, do tell me wayne. How does a "party" work?"

"Ah! A party! This is something I know of quite well!" Hal responded as he made his way towards Elisa. The more he saw Elisa, the more he wanted to be with her, so he kept trying to get her attention. Hal's smile was big and happy, like a child's smile and he was apparently excited that there was enough relaxation to have a party here. Normally in a war there would be a party if something went really well. Apparently there was enough success to do this, Hal didn't know why the party was made only the people who made it, and so Hal was content with this idea and felt the army may need a break now.

Rachel came in and she was amazed "Wow! What a great decoration!"Rachel said in astonishmend and she saw 90's Kid and she hugged him "Honey its you!"Rach said to her boyfriend. The spoiled woman blushed

[Gene The Genie]

Gene chuckled as he turned to him.

"Thanks friend. I wish you were my master. At least I'd have fun like this all the time. The Queen's not as bad as my last master but she's still pretty creepy." whispered Gene.

Thankfully Grimhilde was nowhere near him to hear that but he was still whispering just in case.

Linksano grinned patting 90's Kid on the back.

"You should be proud of yourself man. We really need more times like this to unwind and relax. I'm glad you thought of it. It was a wonderful surprise." said Linksano.

Roses turned to Joe and grinned as he joined her.

"Hey Joe. Yeah. It has been awhile. So how have you been?" asked Roses.

She grinned moving over so he could sit next to her.

Chick smiled as she kissed Critic in return as she nodded.

"Yeah. It's nice to have a party. For us to relax and forget the stress of this war. Even just for one night." said Chick.

She grinned smiling at Gene and 90's Kid.

"Those two certainly did a good job. We were all surprised. And we all deserve this." said Chick.

She grinned taking a sip of her soda watching the others chat and have fun.

Diamanda turned to Spoony and grinned.

"Hey Spoony. Good to see you again. So how have you been lately? You need me to beat anyone up for you?" said Diamanda, grinning.

Wayne turned to Sherlock with an eyebrow raised.

"The great Sherlock Holmes has never been a party? I'd have thought you'd gone to at least one to interview suspects or witnesses." said Wayne.

He chuckled as he turned to him. His feelings hadn't changed. He wished he didn't have to go but he knew he didn't have the right to stay either. He just hoped they could find a way to get Stone back before he got too attached to this life and to Sherlock.

"We just hang out together. We talk, we dance, we just have fun." said Wayne.

He grinned and looked at Sherlock as they were now really close and before he knew he'd kissed Sherlock. He paused realizing what he'd done stepping back.

"I'm sorry. I mean we'd never..."

He trailed off running out into the backyard wiping the tears that were starting to form. He was starting to fall for him. Damn it. But how sure he was these were his feelings or just Stone's feelings being projected onto him? He sighed as he was so confused.

[Linkara]

"He's right 90's Kid. I'm really glad that you've done this. Thanks" Linkara said seeing everybody having a good time. The comic book geek smirked as everybody talked, he sighed a bit getting some of the stress off his chest and the man responded "Well if you guys need me. I'll be trying to find Marzgurl. Gotta try these jokes I've found online and I want her criticism before I try them out in the future" He patted 90's kid and Linksano on the back before wandering off to find Marzgurl

"You're making me blush dudes" 90's Kid responded, some pinkish hue coming to his cheeks. He never got so much praise from the two before so this was a new feeling. The younger man just wanted to have fun, he never thought he would be thanked let alone from Linksano and Linkara. The younger man got a pat from Linkara before he left and he went to Linksano "I'm glad you dudes like it. I saw Linkara workin' hard and then I saw the others workin' hard so yeah. It was more Gene's idea though I just helped"

Joe immediately accepted Roses' invitation to sit, and so he did, with a drink magically in tow. He shrugged and responded "Planning things, trying to find new guns, the usual anger at lousy games. Same old stuff for me" He then looked Roses over before asking "What about you? Are you doing ok? How've you been?"

Hal looked about at the others and saw them talking mostly. Normally back home the conversations weren't this civil, and if they were it was normally to get someone to gamble or hunt someone down. The alcohol was there but nobody fought for it, in fact shared it. It made Hal confused but not unamused. He actually liked the fact people were acting kindly to one another. "Dear Elisa... Have I told you back where I come from we have tales of old we act out? Like a play?" He asked after a while

Sherlock chuckled amused with Wayne "I DID go to parties for the sake of cases but I never been to one like this. I'm old dear Wayne" He responded kindly. He liked Wayne more and more and ignored the fact they were getting closer. He knew Stone was in there, so he would understand if Sherlock couldn't help himself. The next thing he knew though he was kissing Wayne, and for some reason this felt right. Even if it wasn't Stone. Though his emotions changed to pity as Wayne went away with a tear-stroken face. Sherlock couldn't blame the man for having emotions, he also couldn't blame Wayne for giving into his desires even if they weren't really supposed to be like this.

Sherlock decided to assure Wayne that it was ok. So the man went over to the backyard following Wayne and tried his best not to make a scene. Sherlock went over and responded "Wayne. It is alright. You could not help yourself. I actually enjoyed it. You may be yourself but in a way you do have the right to feel the way you do. I know I care about Stone but I care about you too. You must know this"

Rachel saw 90's Kid as he blushed and she walked to him and whispered "Come with me"Rach said as the spoiled woman gave him a smirk and she blushed

[Gene The Genie]

Gene grinned at his friend as he floated into the air.

"They're right you know. The two of us put this thing together. It was my idea but you helped. And I'm glad you did. Everyone needed some time to have some fun." said Gene.

Linksano grinned as well. He nodded to Linkara as he went off to find Marzgurl. He chuckled as he turned back to 90's Kid and Gene.

"Gene and Linkara are right. This is a great party." said Linksano.

He paused seeing Rachel come up to them. He grinned turning to Gene.

"We'll leave you two alone." said Linksano.

Linksano grinned walking away as Gene followed him.

Roses smiled listening to him.

"Same as usual huh? Yeah. Same with me. I've been filming reviews here and trying to have some fun. And trying to move on. I don't know if you heard but I accidentally killed someone. Holli. I have nightmares sometimes but I've tried to move on. I mean I've played several video games and probably lost count of how many enemies i've killed. But one person right in front of me and well.. it was different. I guess Linkara, Critic, and Spoony are used to this sort of thing. I guess I was hoping we could send everyone back. But now that someone's died it feels more real." said Roses.

Elisa paused turning to him.

"Isn't acting out stories a play anyway? Or do you do it different somehow?" said Elisa.

She smiled as she took a few more bites and then sipped her coke.

"So are parties like this back where you come from?" asked Elisa.

Wayne paused looking at Holmes confused.

"You have feelings for us both? Won't you be disappointed when one of us vanishes?" asked Wayne.

He sighed as he looked at the ground sadly.

"I wish I could let Stone out. But that machine seems to make me stronger than him somehow. He'll come back eventually I guess. Just like he did last time." said Wayne.

[Nostalgia Critic]

90's Kid blush intensified when Rachel appeared. If there was one person 90's Kid would do anything for it'd be Rachel. He was grateful that linksano and gene left for privacy but it still made the surfer nervous than he had in a long time. He smiled though and took Rachel's arm and responded "Whereever you go babe. I go with ya" 90's Kid desperately tried to sound smooth, and it did, but he still had his heart pound

"Aw man. I'm sure you didn't mean to. That's what happens in war sometimes. But I wanna let you know that I don't think of you differently because of it. It'll be fine Roses. Besides, you're talking to a guy who plays violent games for a living. I can totally get the difference between video games and real life. If you have those stupid nightmares again, talk to me" Joe responded sincerely. He felt bad that his friend was not doing too well with nightmares. It was rough for anyone to take but it was especially rough for someone as nice and calm-headed as roses.

"Telling tales would be calmer. We would all sit in a table and listen to one man speak his piece. As for plays... Well that was more entertaining. People would play as others and make fun of them, or praise them, or make it look like they were the most vile villains ever. It was a lot of fun" Hal admitted. It was true. However stories were normally for children or young teens and plays were held at theaters or, if you were in a bar, a simple wooden table. Royalty stopped paying attention to those things and paid more mind with work or horseback. But Hal was rebellious before he became king so he knew what plays in a bar were like. At Elisa's next question he shook his head "Not really. It had more sac, or alcohol, and a lot of people sang and shouted to the roof enough where the heavens would hear it. Your parties are much more calm" He shrugged "I was a bit foolish in my youth"

Sherlock sighed "It is a complicated matter but I wish there was someway where both of you would continue to exist. You're a good man Wayne. And so is Stone. Don't feel ashamed of your feelings" He then looked to the ground too and grabbed his pipe and began smoking out of it. "Perhaps it is some sort of unknown magic that keeps you two trapped in the same form. Perhaps we need to find a strong energy to help you both be released without backfire"

[Pushing Up Roses]

Roses nodded.

"I know it was an accident. But I still regret it. I wish I'd knocked her out or somethig. But I guess it's too late now. I just hope we can send everyone back before anyone else dies. She didn't even die in her film. She was trapped. Although I guess she might prefer death to where she was." said Roses.

She paused as Joe said if she had more nightmares to come talk to him. She nodded.

"Sure. I will. Thanks Joe. You're a good friend." said Roses.

Elisa grinned as she listened to him.

"So you shared stories then? Sounds cool." said Elisa.

She smiled as he spoke about plays. They sounded fun too. To watch a play put on back then would be interesting. Especially as back then men usually played male and female roles in plays for the most part. At least that's what she heard. She raised an eye brow and grinned as he said there was a lot of alcohol and people sang and shouted a lot making this party tame by comparison. She grinned at that.

"Well you weren't the only one who made mistakes or embarassed themselves at a party. I've made a few. But don't think this party is calm just yet. It is being thrown by 90's Kid after all." said Elisa, chuckling.

"Yeah we do don't we? I'm really glad Gene thought of it. Along with 90's kid. I gotta thank them somehow. Don't know what yet. He didn't know but he knew he wanted to do it and it felt fun.

Chick chuckled and nodded. She saw Rachel talking to 90's Kid and chuckled.

"Looks he's busy at the moment. Wish we could free that genie or use him to make us stronger somehow. I remeber Jafar used the genie in the Aladdin film turn himself into a sorceror and then a genie. So just imagine what we could do with a genie on our side before we him free." said Chick.

She paused and turned to him as music began. She grinned look up to see Gene floating around the stero system having turned it on.

"Wanna dance?" asked Chick.

Gene chuckled as he turned on the stereo watching Chick and Critic talk. He overheard the word music and grinned turning it on. It wasn't a party without music after all. He grinned as he began humming as he floated in mid air next to the stereos.

Wayne paused glancing at Sherlock and grinned.

"I wish there was too. I had a wife and kids in my world. Of course I guess there were never mind since I'm not the real Wayne Szlainski. I know I'm just a figment of his mind based off the actual character. I fear I'll disappear and be nothing but a memory. And I wish I could stay." said Wayne.

He paused as Sherlock said there could be magic holding them there.

"I think it's technology. Unless that device that JesuOtaku, CR, and I made was magical and we didn't know it." said Wayne.

[Henry V/Hal]

Joe nodded, understanding Roses's guilt. He didn't know a thing about Holli but if she caused Roses to feel guilt then he would support her and help her out. As a friend of course. He moved his hand in a throw off manner as she responded he was a good friend. It made him feel good but he wanted HER to feel better "Oh pfff. I'm just helping out" He then threw a curveball to the conversation "Hey. I have a idea. Let's not talk about death and more positive stuff. Like, did you go back to reviewing or has the war kept you busy?"

Hal nodded even if her word of "cool" confused him. He quickly figured out it was a term of endearment and smiled also. During his time, many men would play characters, both male and female because of a concept that men were better at everything. Hal never got into that concept entirely, being naive at the time and just enjoyed the fun. He even joined a small play where he mocked his father and helped Falstaff mock his royal life as a future king. Hal then paused at Elisa's assurance that the parties Elisa went in had plenty of mistakes themselves. He then pondered on her mention of 90's Kid throwing the party and that it might not be calm at all "Really? Has 90's Kid thrown parties before?"

As 90's Kid kept talking to Rachel, Critic focused on Chick and pretty much got what he was desperately trying to say. It especially helped when Gene put on music without request. He smiled widely as Chick asked if he wished to dance. He took her hand and responded "Oh yes I do. Let's dance" He then took her to the middle of the floor and proceeded to do his own sort of dancing. Hoping he wasn't too terrible

"You will not be some memory. You are someone real in my eyes. That said, something with your arrival here makes a lot of worries go through to us and you" Holmes admitted with a tint of regret. He really felt bad for Wayne and wished him to not be so lonely or upset. He then turned to Wayne again when he assumed it was technology "It could be both. Someone might have put magic into some sort of technology to make it react the way it did to you, JesuOtaku and perhaps CR was not paying complete attention"

Rachel blushed at 90's Kid as they walked away and she held his hand but Rach listened that the others talked and she smiled and turned her head to her boyfriend and sneaked him a kiss on the cheek and waited for him to follow her

[Nostalgia Chick]

Chick smiled as she waited for Critic to accept her offer to dance with her. Perhaps they should have more of these parties. She grinned to Critic.

"I was thinking. Perhaps we could make these parties a tradition. Like once a week maybe? We'd all deserve at least one day off to relax and a party could do just that. What do you think?" said Chick.

Roses smiled at him.

"Yeah but thanks just the same." said Roses.

She paused as he said let's not talk about death anymore and she nodded.

"Sounds good. Yeah. I'm reviewing. Mostly pc games at the moment. They're fun to make. What about you?" said Roses.

Elisa chuckled at his question.

"Yes. And well parties tend to get pretty wild especially 90's Kid's parties from what I remember. So this party should be memorable at least." said Elisa.

She paused as the music began to play and she grinned taking Hal's hand.

"Would you like to dance? I know you're not familiar with the music and we both probably know different types of dancing. Perhaps we teach other to dance. I could learn some dances from your era and you could learn some modern ones." said Elisa.

Wayne smiled looking at Holmes.

"I know you're trying to make me happy. I appreciate it. But I'd only be fooling myself. I'm just a figment of his imagination brought to life by that device. Once this is reversed Stone will be back and I'll be gone. Like I was never here. Promise me one thing. Look after Stone. If he cares about you as much as I do then I know he's a really lucky guy to have you." said Wayne.

He looked at him saying it could be a mixture of magic and technology and he hadn't considered that.

"Perhaps you're right. I guess it will take some time to know for sure." said Wayne.

He smiled standing up.

"Thank you. I don't usually get this upset. It's just you're the first person who doesn't treat me like they're walking on a landmine. You treat me as an equal. And I'll never forget that. I guess i was only here to help Stone and the others last time. But this time was a fluke. Once it's fixed I'll be gone." said Wayne.

He paused and heard the music playing and grinned.

"Would you care to dance Sherlock? I might step on your toes a few times but I'd like to have some happy memories while I'm here." said Wayne.

[Sherlock Holmes]

"Of course that sounds awesome. Parties once a week can give us the off-edge feeling" Critic said sincerely, trying his hardest to realize completely that Chick just invited him to dance. Speaking of which, Critic held her hand and responded "Crap. You invited me to dance. Sorry, losing myself. I was going to ask you the same thing now you asked me it, so let's dance huh?" He carefully took her away to the dance floor and commenced dancing with her, holding one arm around her waist awkwardly. He never learned how to dance right.

"Action games. Violent games. Game that make me angry, and loving it at the same time. The usual for me too" Joe said, glad the subject was changed. He laughed and responded "To be honest roses, I haven't seen you in so long but it's like nothing's really changed except this war. In a way I'm glad to get to see you more often because of it now" He hoped he didn't sound corny. Or offensive. Or rude. Or pig-headed. Joe shrugged at that "Sorry, just came into my mind what I previously said a moment ago. Be honest do I sound weird?"

"Well then. Times have not changed much then" Hal said, chuckling afterwards. He just finished his drink when Elisa took his hand, and invited him to dance. Hal's eyes perked up, he hadn't thought about dancing at all but now it seemed to be going on and the former king really liked to dance with the very person he enjoyed being around. He gladly held onto her hand and responded with the utmost of joy "I would be delighted to learn this music and your modern dancing, but as you said perfectly, we can teach each other our cultures of dancing" Hal smiled widely, taking her to the dance floor and put his hand around her waist, while the hand holding Elisa's was put near their shoulders in a ballroom like position.

Sherlock didn't like talking about not having Wayne around, as much as he enjoyed stone, the man cared about both of them. Sherlock's eyes moistened up and tears threatened to flow but Sherlock wiped them away before Wayne could see them. He turned to see Wayne ask him to not bother trying to delay the inevitable and that Wayne was appreciative of his concern. Then he made Sherlock promise to take care of stone once Wayne left and Sherlock's heart felt so many emotions, but he tried his best not to show them and he nodded quickly "I swear on my life, Stone will be protected and cared for like a proper person should. I care about him more than anything, even if I care a lot about you Wayne" He sighed, really feeling he should have a drink or a cigar to calm down, but he smiled sadly to wayne. He felt like kissing Wayne good bye with all this talk. He didn't care about the technology anymore so it didn't matter when Wayne commented on it. But he smiled a bit more when Wayne thanked him for his kindness, Sherlock was about to kiss him then but Wayne's head turned and he mentioned dancing.

Sherlock's eyes softened and the man held onto Wayne's hand responding "It would be my pleasure. I do not have sensitive feet, I'm sure I can handle you stepping on them. Let us dance and forget the bad times for now"

[That Chick With The Goggles]

Chick grinned at him.

"Excellent. They don't have to be big parties each week either. We could have a dance party, or watch a movie or all of us play games or something. Mix it up a little." said Chick.

She smiled as he finally realized she'd asked him to dance. She grinned as he lead her out as he put an arm around her waist and she smiled doing the same.

"You ok? You look a little nervous?" asked Chick.

Roses grinned. She loved talking about games as much as she liked playing them.

"Sounds like you're having a lot of fun. I do get annoyed with some games though. But I guess I tend to review mostly games I like. With some exceptions." said Roses.

She nodded at him.

"Yeah. It's been awhile. But I'm glad you could make it here. It just wouldn't be the same without you." said Roses.

She smiled and shook her head.

"Nope. You sound like you. And I wouldn't have it any other way." said Roses.

She grinned at him and then heard music play as she watched some of the others start dancing. She saw Chick and Critic among them and chuckled glancing back at Joe.

Elisa smiled as he took her hand as they went out to dance. She smiled putting her hand around his back as they started dancing. She smiled at him.

"Could you take it slow? I don't think I've danced whatever you're about to teach me. But I do want to learn." said Elisa.

She smiled as they slowly started to dance.

Wayne smiled at him.

"Thank you. I know he'll be in good hands." said Wayne.

He smiled as Sherlock agreed to dance with him. He hoped he didn't step on Sherlock's feet too much.

"Thanks." said Wayne.

He smiled at him. He leaned forward and kissed him on the lips before pulling back with a grin.

"I wanted to do that before I lost my nerve. I've thought about that last kiss. And if my time is running out then I don't want to feel sad or angry about this anymore. It can't be helped. I just want to have fun and have happy memories." said Wayne.

He grinned as he took one of Sherlock's hands and placed his other hand behind Sherlock awkwardly not sure how to do this.

"You think you could give me some pointers? I don't want to make your feet sore after this." said Wayne.
