“Is that a challenge?”
Name: Mewtwo
Age: Time of creation uncertain
Where is this character from? Pokemon
Why did you pick him/her?: Because I tried to play him in the past and didn’t get enough time to :C Plus he’s cool.
Personality: (why yes, I will refer to a genderless Pokemon as “he”) Mewtwo isn’t incapable of holding a discussion – he just prefers to keep himself aloof. Since he rarely lets himself be seen, little is known about his personality. However, he has been shown to be compassionate and reasonable. While not as dangerous has he was in the past, he can easily make himself a great threat if he feels he or an alley is used or tricked. Mewtwo’s ability for show mercy can be hard to predict but he is not one to jump at the chance to kill or even harm badly, since he’d rather take a less violent approach (such as wiping one’s memories). When he establishes a friendship, it is hard to pick up on, due to his general lack of emotion.
History:
Mewtwo was created in a lab using the DNA of an eyelash from the elusive Pokemon, Mew. He is a Mew clone who was modified to be more robust and powerful (though no one is sure if he surpasses Mew). Unsatisfied with just being an experiment, he destroys the lab and vows to create a destiny for himself. He briefly is used by Giovanni of Team Rocket before realizing he is to be a tool and frees himself. Mewtwo, frustrated with this treatment by humans, creates clones of Pokemon and decides he is to destroy all the humans and Pokemon to leave the world to be inherited by the clones. After calling upon some powerful trainers in order to clone their Pokemon, Mew arrives and tries in vain to get Mewtwo to stop his ploys. Mewtwo refuses and he and his clone battle. The battle ends when a trainer by the name of Ash is killed in the crossfire, trying to get them to stop fighting. Ash’s life is restored, and Mewtwo, touched by the sacrifice, allows the world to go on in peace and moves himself and his clones to an island where they will be protected and lead by him.
After Giovanni discovered the clone’s island, Mewtwo defended the clones before being captured in order to save them. He was still convinced that humans were inherently bad and judgmental of clones. Thus, he was surprised when the trainer, Ash, attempted to save him. Upon being healed in the springs of the island, Giovanni and Team Rocket had to draw back. The clones were saved and Mewtwo, having a change of heart, allowed the clones to go free in the world. As for himself, though, believed the world wasn’t ready to know he was there – although he allowed Ash and his friends to remember the events.
And now we wait for the Mewtwo vs Genesect movie to continue the saga…if that’s even the original Mewtwo-
Mewtwo was confused by the random teleportation to the other world. Being a psychic Pokemon, he was more open-minded to the existence of alternate dimensions and the ability of travel between them. Still, as he would have in his own world, he kept himself hidden (brown cloak and everything). The world he was in seemed to have less tolerance for the fantastic, and it was better to be alone. However, it wasn’t long before the clone Pokemon discovered the war. Unwilling to aid the two villainous teams after finding out of their atrocities, Mewtwo opted to ally himself, though tentatively, with the Critic’s side. Returning to his own world, however, he did not view as necessary.
Allies: The cloned Pokemon, The Critic’s Army
Enemies: Team Rocket, Ask ThatGuy’s Army, Facilier’s Army
Plans: Be mysterious and use Psychic on stuff – Hellz yeah
