Why Did You Pick This Character?: A coward who loves to eat. Figured he'd be a fun character to play. And now that he's stuck as a werewolf he joins hoping to eventually be cred.

Personality: sleuth, easily frightened, eats a lot but rarely gets fat. Always runs into the monsters and sometimes finds clues.
History:
Shaggy is a member of Mystery Inc alongside Fred, Velma, Daphne, and Scooby. They formed it while they were in elementary school solving mysteries and usually getting bullied by Red Herring who Fred always accused but was wrong. Ironically the one time Red did do it Fred had been dared to not accuse him for 24 hours. They grew up and as teens continued to solve mysteries. They also gained temporary members Scrappy Doo, Scooby Dum, Flim Flam, Vincent Van Ghoul, The Hex Girls, and others along their travels. Eventually the group parted ways with Fred becoming a mystery writer and Velma working at NASA. Daphne later rejoined Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy as they solved more mysteries and even returned the 13 ghosts to a magical chest with help from Flim Flam and Vincent. Daphne parted ways with them reuniting with Fred to become a reporter while he became her camera man.
Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy eventually went ont he road as Shaggy inherited an estate from his uncle only for the sheriff's evil twin brother and his uncle's servant tried to steal the inheritance from him. He eventually got the sheriff's evil brother who was posing as the sheriff arrested. He donated the jewels to a charity and gave the house to the Boo Brothers three ghosts who helped them solve the case. He was dating a girl Goggie and was turned into a werewolf by the Hunch Bunch assistants to Dracula. Dracula then brought Shaggy, Goggie, Scrappy, and Scooby to Trannsylvania so Shaggy could compete in the monster road ralley since the old werewolf retired. Shaggy competed and won winning his freedom back as he was turned into a human again. He left with the group and returned home. Dracula and the Hunch Bunch had followed them deciding to plot their revenge but their attempts were foiled and they eventually gave up and went back home. Googie and Shaggy eventually broke up with her going off to college.
Shaggy went to teachy at an all girl's school bringing along Scooby and Scrappy again. But this school just also happened to be all monsters as well. They were the daughters of Frankenstein, Dracula, a werewolf and a mummy famous monsters some he'd met in Trannsylvania. They each threatened to harm him if anything happened to their girls but Scrappy convinced Shaggy and Scooby to stay. But during this time Revolta an evil witch hynoptized Shaggy into bringing the girls to a swamp where they were all captured. Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy found Revolta's castle and eventually rescued them. Along the way Shaggy was briefly trapped in a mirror and Scooby was turned into a toad. But Revolta's castle blew up and she and Creeper were still inside and were presumed dead or at least gave up as they didn't bother anyone again. When he returned them to the school he discovered there were new students. He left taking the dogs with him deciding he didn't want to teach more monsters having enough real adventures for awhile. They dropped Scrappy off in the old west where he stayed with his Uncle Yabba and the sheriff for awhile.
Shaggy soon learned Velma left NASA and opened up a mystery book store. Shaggy & Scooby did odd jobs but they didn't usually last long. After Daphne decided to search for real ghosts Fred gathered the gang together to help. Their search led them to Zombie Island where they found real cat creatures and zombies. While some of the zombies had been evil while alive they just wanted to rest in peace. Thankfully they were able to stop the three cat creatures Simone, Lena, and Jaques and they were destroyed as the zombies finally were able to rest collapsing into piles of bones. Their next mystery was against Ben Ravencroft. He tricked them into helping search for his ancestor's spellbook while helping them solve a fake ghost mystery which the town had created to bring in tourists. He became a warlock and released his ancestor Sarah from the book. While he wanted to rule the world Sarah wanted to destroy it. They fought and Sarah trapped him in a green bubble. The group tried to get the book with Daphne, Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby getting trapped while Velma got the book to Thorn who cast a spell and sent her back into the book. Sarah took Ben with her as and the book was destroyed. They later stopped gold smugglers who disguised themselves as aliens while meeting two real aliens who Shaggy and Scooby had fallen in love with. The aliens unfortunately had to go as Shaggy and Scooby were left brokenhearted.
Their final mystery was against the Phantom Virus. After fighting him in the real world they were sucked into their friend Eric's computer game along with him. They went through the levels fighting the virus and other villains eventually ending on the last level teaming up with cyber versions of themselves. However Phantom Virus had 5 monster pals from their past recreated into the game to help him. They split up and eventually beat the game destroying the virus and freeing themselves. Shaggy later was pulled from the world into a new one finding himself in a crazy circus. However he was captured by Facilier who sensed he was once a creature and turned him back into a werewolf again forcing him to work for him and his army. He wanted to run but he knew he had no choice. He'd be forced to be in hiding or on the run for the rest of his life stuck like this if he left. So he agreed to serve in Facilier's army.
Plans: bump into Phantom Virus, try to turn human again, make some friends.
