[Tony Stark/Iron Man]

(OCC: February 22nd. Just Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. Rival buddies being rival buddies)

Stressed was what Tony was right now. He needed to get the prisoners out. They were driving him crazy. He knew what it was like to be one. Cold, beaten, isolated for a long time. They may had each other but freedom was what they needed. Not being trapped like a animal. It hurt him. It was empathy for him to feel hurt for them. They were said to be treaten badly, unsurprisingly. Worse part was that rumor was spreading that Loki was back and if he was on Facilier's side, then he had a good chance of seeing and even taking advantage of the prisoners. Tony didn't want that. He wanted to help them. If only something could get his mind off those people

The Star-Spangled Man with a Plan wasn't really living up to his title. Steve wasn't the one in charge of figuring out plans, much to his dismay. Mr. Rogers, much like his iron clad friend, had been swimming in a sea of stress over the prisoners. He didn't know any of them too well, but he couldn't just leave good people behind bars. It was his nature to help people. Not doing anything was agonizing beyond belief for poor Steve. It didn't help to hear the rumor that Loki was now a part of the war. As if they needed more magic users to deal with, let alone a "god."

The blonde was desperate to find something to get his mind off of the stress that came along with war. Blue eyes fell upon a familiar face. The man of iron himself, Tony Stark. "Tony?" he called out, approaching his teammate. "What are you doing out here?"

"Tony? What are you doing out here?"

Steve's voice was comforting. Helpful. Concerned. Tony normally would be annoyed with him but right now? It was the best thing he had all day today. Tony turned and smiled weakly, upset over his army's condition but trying to not show any emotions to Steve. "Felt like I needed a break so I stuck out here" Tony said softly, showing with his hands the outside he was in. Even though he was outside, he still felt as if a huge weight was on his shoulder.

"Care for a seat old man?" Tony teased, hurt and regret coming out of his voice more than sarcasm and Tony quickly moved to see if Steve would accept his invitation. He was aware of his rivalry with Steve, but Tony in the end really liked Steve. They may not be best buddies but they WERE friends, more importantly teammates. It never hurt to talk to him. Steve, as naive as he was, was pretty easy to talk to. Tony sighed rubbing his head and responding "So you hear Loki's back? With Ask Thatguy or something? I hope to God it's not true"
