We Need A Plan (Internet Characters)

Critic, Snob, and Chick had called another meeting of what they dubbed the reviewer council. They had set up tables and chairs in the living room so everyone could sit there or on the sofa so they could chat. Chick was the first to arrive taking a seat. Nella, Stone, Dr. Tease, and Linksano had decided not to attend and keep working on weapons and updating the security. She waited for the others to show up.

Elisa was the next one to arrive sitting down next to Chick.

"Hey Chick. I'm glad we got Nella back. I'm sure we'll get Goggles, Iheart, and the others back too." said Elisa.

Marzgurl walked in next smiling at them both taking a seat in one of the chairs.

Roses walked in next taking a seat next to Marzgurl waiting for the meeting to start. She was sure they'd rescue the others once they came up with the right plan.

Ma-Ti walked in next looking and feeling awful. He looked like he hardly any sleep as he walked up to them. It only had been three days since they were taken but it felt like months. He missed Iheart and hoped there was a way to get her back. He hadn't slept much the past few days maybe a few hours at most. He had gone into a depression and had stayed away from most of the others aside from Critic and Spoony who had checked up on him making sure he was alright. He forced a smile as he sat down joining the group. He wanted the others back especially Iheart.

Chick gasped seeing Ma-Ti for the first time in days. Critic had told her he'd taken it hard the past couple days but he looked awful. He probably didn't get much sleep and he was at least talking with some of them again so that would be a good sign. She nodded to Marzgurl Roses, and Elisa glad they were here.

"I'm sure we'll get them all back." said Chick.

Elisa, Roses, and Marzgurl all shared worried glances as they saw Ma-Ti arrive but nodded when Chick said they'd get them back. They said nothing else not wanting to upset Ma-Ti anymore.

[Linkara]

Linkara stormed down the stairs in rage and anger. He grabbed a chair and slammed himself down. His eyes were ready to pop and dared anyone to try and comfort him.

Harvey was carried in by Paw, still depressed about losing Lottie. Paw managed to kiss Roses on the cheek before toppling over and moaning under Harvey's wait.

JO walked in stressed and prepared for the meeting "Hey guys. What's wrong with Paw?"

"Nothing,"

[Nostalgia Critic]

Nostalgia Critic knew it was rough. It wasn't just captives anymore. These were family members. Whether looked upon romantically or close bondage, all these people had a connection to the prisoners. Chester was close to 90's kid and a few others and IHeart... Oh god her. Critic, Chick, Roses, Linkara, Harvey, Spoony, Snob and Ma-Ti they all had a very deep connection with the girl. The girl was one of the few people that put their ass into making the team work and without her, the house was grim.

Critic then saw Ma-Ti, he and spoony were the only ones allowed to see him anymore and he looked like shit. Critic went over to the boy and sat right next to ma-ti, knowing the boy would enjoy him being there. Critic tried his best not to cry in front of him but ma-ti was quickly becoming like a son or little brother to him. It hurt him to see ma-ti so unhappy, almost as much as losing his niece/daughter/sister figure IHeart.

Critic then saw Harvey who was just as depressed. Not just because of IHeart but he recently fell in love and Critic definitely knew what that felt like. He turned to Chick who was on his opposite side and he smiled sadly to her, as if he wanted to help the boy but couldn't

Spoony walked in. But not tiredly, boredly, or even depressedly. He walked in quickly, with haste and with a mission. Spoony now lost two people he cared about more than anything so he was fully activated and awake. He was determined. He was concerned. He was loyal to his friends and wanted to get the ones lost back. Spoony sat next to Linkara and was on Ma-Ti's opposite side. The man saw his best friend(Linkara), looking angry. Oh wait. Not angry. Enraged was more like it

Spoony knew damn well it was best to leave the poor man at peace and only offered a very soft smile to the man. Spoony then responded "Wait. Where's snob?"

"Fuck me. I'm sorry. I had my notes to grab" Snob replied as he came down the steps. Alongside the man was Angry Joe, in all his military gear. Joe and Snob put the notes down on the table for everyone to see and Snob turned to Joe. Snob smirked to Joe, trying to set a good mood for the more depressed members "Thanks for coming guys. Critic, Chick and I needed your imput. Now, Joe, asked me about the previous attacks and this is what he came up with"

"Alright. Clearly they've gotten in here too many times. I would suggest a new location but I think we do not have the budget for it. So I have one more other option but you're going to have to be as openminded as possible" Joe replied as sternly and serious as possible

"I'm up for any new option. Actually, something I was going to bring up, would it be good to have a backup base to go to in case the house is invaded? I mean, seeing as we were already attacked once, it would be good to have a second place to go." Paw shifted in the seat. JO, Harvey and Linkara were listening to Joe, at least JO was, Linkara was looking enraged and Harvey was picking at the table.

[Nostalgia Chick]

Chick, Ma-Ti, Elisa, Roses, and Marzgurl all looked up as more of their friends arrived to the meeting.

Ma-Ti smiled as Critic and Spoony sat next to him. He wasn't sure if he'd made it these past couple days without their help. He had tried contacting Facilier for information but he couldn't reach him. He was tempted to go launch an attack himself but he knew that would be foolish and just risk him getting caught or killed. He was already Facilier's prisoner just in a different way for the moment. He focused back on the meeting hearing the ohters hoping they could make a plan.

Elisa smiled at the others as they joined them and listened as ideas were thrown around.

"Yeah. But we're working on that right. Updating seccurity and all?" said Elisa.

She paused hearing about a second base.

"But none of us live in Chicago. Chick, Nella, and I live in New York and that's way to far to launch a war. Not to mention the city's too crowded. We can't pull a Michael Bay and have everyone pretend it never happened." said Elisa.

Roses nodded.

"She's right. The only guy I know who lives in Chicago is Last Angry Geek and Critic's brother Rob. But Rob's out of town and Geek revived himself last I heard but he hasn't bothered to show up." said Roses.

"We'd have to create another base. Geek's house wouldn't really be any safer than this one. Probably less safe. And he was against us in Suburban Knights. Not sure if I want to go hang out at his place anyway." said Chick.

She paused turning to Linkara

"Could we use your ship as a backup base? I know Insano took back all the stuff that made Critic's house into a spaceship so we can't use it as a spaceship." said Chick.

[Linkara]

Linkara nodded to Chick "Comicron 1 should have enough room for most of the army, it's no cruise ship, but it would due. I also do think that it would be able to defend itself a lot, lot more than the house could be, no offence Critic. It could work as a second base. And-" Suddenly a thought struck him "Joe, don't you have a space station? If so, we could use that as well." He was bouyed by the possiblity.

JO and Paw nodded. Only Harvey was silent, moodily picking at the table.

Critic pondered and responded to everyone "Yeah Elisa, Stone, Linksano and Dr. Tease are working on higher security as we speak. So, we definitely need a backup base as it were but we're not moving to a different city, that'd be too far" Critic then heard Chick talk to Linkara and he beemed actually aware finally that Linkara had a ship. Critic asked him "Hey Linkara..." When the man suddenly answered he then turned to Joe "Yeah joe! Do you have a space station?!"

Then Joe suggested he had another plan and Critic asked "Joe. What do you mean by openminded?"

"Joe. I have a feeling I'm gonna regret asking but what's your other plan?" Spoony said as he tried not to pay attention to his angry comic book loving friend and more on the others. Spoony then turned to Snob who fell a bit silent since arriving, when the snob shrugged spoony knew snob didn't know from first hand. Spoony then smiled to Ma-Ti, glad that the boy was cheering up by seeing them

Snob then responded "Joe. This doesn't involve explosions to blow up the entire city is it?"

Joe was about to respond to spoony and critic then he frowned sadly and childishly as Snob found out his plan B. Joe said childishly "Awww. You spoiled it snob. I wanted to say the explosion plan" Then he heard Linkara's question and he happily nodded "Oh yeah! I do! It has more rooms and stuff. I'm sure it'll be great for a backup backup plan!"

(OCC: The explosion plan was intended as a joke so no I'm not being serious about blowing chicago up that's silly XD)

"Yeah I like that idea." JO nodded, and tired her best not to scream as Ed increased the banging on the walls of her mind. "Excuse me." SHe dashed to the bathroom and shuddered as she swallowed down the Anti Ed pills. At last she fell silent for a minute, but JO also felt like she was about to throw up.

"So, blowing up Chicago is a no no." Paw shifted in his seat "But, to move onto some other things, how are we going to get the prisioners back? I don't want to spoilt the mood, but I think we need to plan for this."

"Paw is right. I think storming the house for a fourth time might be expected now." Linkara sighed "Added to that is Vyce. I think he would be counting on us going through to the house."

[Ma-Ti]

Chick nodded.

"Comic-Cron 1 and a space station. Sounds good. We might want to consider sending the injured and children up to your ship or Joe's space station." said Chick.

"That sounds like a good idea. And maybe send a couple of the others up. I doubt Nani will want to be separated from Morpheus and Lilo after they both had been hurt in this war." said Roses.

"And we can't rely on magic this time. Grimhilde's one of the prisoners and Maleficent's hurt. A shame we don't have more sorcerers and wizards here. The villains seem to have more magic than we do." said Marzgurl.

Elisa turned to Linkara.

"You know some magic like you were able to turn your toys into real weapons and gadgets. Do you know any spells that could help us here?" said Elisa.

Ma-Ti nodded chuckling when Joe mentioned blowing up Chicago.

"Yeah probably not a good idea to blow up the city we're trying to protect." said Ma-Ti.

It felt good to laugh as he hadn't done it much in the past couple days. He paused seeing everyone else in a good mood for once. Then the topic drifted back to the prisoners as he sighed. They had to save Iheart and the others. But Maleficent & Morpheus were recovering and they would expect another attack.

"There has to be a way to get them back. we can't rely on Maleficent magic or the queen's potions. They'll be expecting us. Then we need to do something unexpected. But what?" said Ma-Ti.

[Linkara]

"I can try and cast a protection spell on the house, amke sure that people can only come in if we invite them, or if they just manage to get in somehow. I admit, most of the other side are magic users who are a little more experience than me, but it might stall them." Linkara wondered if Vyce had left any info on his magic in his ship, he'd have to take a look.

....

"Look, I'm aware that it may be a bit low, but what about capturing some of the other side, making a hostage exchange. I wasn't here for a bit, and that kid you captured during the first battle was soon taken back, but for a bit we had a hold on them instead of the other way around. Broadcast does have a pretty impressive way of capturing them." Harvey was polishing his tommy gun. He was thinking something, making sure in his mind it would work.

....

"Look, the one thing we can't do is burst in again, we tried that when each time hostages have been taken, with varying degrees of success. I honestly think that the reason we got Chick, Patch and Morpheus out was only because they were totally off guard, and most of the big fighters were distracted by the battle. If we go in there now, we'll have the whole household upon us, plus Rita's henchmen." Paw was about to say more, but Harvey cut in.

"What if just one or two guys snuck in? Not only would it confuse them, but it would be quicker than having, say, half the army running around like headless turkeys, with possibility of death"

[Nostalgia Critic]

"Good idea Linkara. Use whatever protective spell you can get to prevent the villains from bursting in again" Spoony commented then he heard everyone else's comments "No. No more bursting in. We're using stradegy this time"

Spoony then paused as Harvey commented. The poor singer wasn't himself since Lottie and IHeart got taken. IHeart was pretty much a niece figure and Lottie was his love. It was hard to handle a blow like that. So, the gamer wasn't sure if the singer was being rational. Despite this he responded dryly "That sounds interesting. Hostages. Like harvey said, let's show them what's for"

"I hate to say it but this hostage idea is good. This will show the villains were sick of pushing the issue. They've taken more than they needed" Critic turned to Ma-Ti, aware he was there and hoping the boy wouldn't get upset. Critic continued "Good idea. We'll have a smaller group. That way we can get in and get out"

"I volunteer to orginize this one Critic. I'm sick of this bullshit. I wanna do my part" Snob commented

[Linkara]

"I'm with Snob here. We need to make sure they know we're not messing around. I'll do whatever you tell me to do if it will mean getting them back." Harvey pulled out a cigar, and then noticed he hadn't lit it. Ever. He then despondantly threw it over his shoulder.

"And if you need anyone to work out the battle strategy, I can bust out the starfleet uniform and military hat and go LinkPatton on their asses." Linkara grinned for one of the first times in a while.

....

"I'd be up for it." Jesu Otaku commented, "But not to ignore the elephant in the room here, what about Vyce? This guy burst in and took seven or eight people. Youn or not, that takes power and muscle."

...

"I've prepared a video on Lord Vyce, if Critic will let me, I'll show you just exactly what were up against." Linkara's grin had gone, back to the grim reality of what faced them.

[Ma-Ti]

Chick nodded.

"That sounds good. If it can be broken could you set of an alarm system to let us know if someone took it down?" said Chick.

She wasn't naieve. With the number of evil sorcerors on the villains side any magic they could do could be undone easily. She wished they had more magical help here. With Maleficent hurt and Grimhilde captured Linkara was their only magical expert. Which wasn't good especially if something happened to him too. She hoped they could rescue Iheart, Grimhilde, and the others quick.

"Capturing hostages sounds good in theory. But the ones worth capturing will be the hardest to take. If we just grab anyone well if they're not important they probably won't care. They are villains after all." said Roses.

Marzgurl nodded.

"She's right. We got to be careful who we take and we can't fail." said Marzgurl.

Elisa listened to the ideas deciding both would work.

"Why not we do both? Snob can lead a small group to rescue them. While we work on capturing some of them. If Snob's teams fails we'll have a backup plan in place. Although we should think up a few more plans just in case neither works." said Elisa.

"We should try to disable Insano's lab somehow. With it gone we could teleport them back. Insano's machines are what's blocking us from doing that right now." said Ma-Ti.

Chick nodded.

"But Insano's lab will likely be guarded. And be harder to destroy. Especially as we won't know which machine is blocking us from teleporting people out. So we'd have to destroy it all." said Chick.

She paused as Vyce was mentioned as Linkara mentioned a video of him.

"Let's see it. Jo's right. He took 8 people from us. He could be one of the guys guarding them. We should be prepared how to fight him. Let's see your video Linkara." said Chick.

[Nostalgia Critic]

"Most things I can agree with but I wanna see Linkara's video. Show us dude" Spoony responded to his friend. Spoony was commenting here and there but most of it was just for the participation skills. He was just willing to risk his life for the prisoners now.

Snob meanwhile turned to Chick and Harvey and replied "Yeah, we need somone who people have looked after, we shouldn't go for the kids that'll just set a worse example for those who believe we're the bad guys but someone important. Maybe aim at a middle class soilder if you will"

"Show us the video Linkara. I'm up for it" Critic said, listening to everybody but mostly focused on Linkara and his ideas. He couldn't help but like Linkara smiling but as his smile faded, The Critic felt bad for him. It wasn't fair to any of them

[Linkara]

Linkara clicked his communicator "Nimue, show enemy profile No 34."

The TV screen flickered and then after a brief moment of static, showed a photograph of Lord VYce. Linkara's voice played over the sound system.

"This is Lord Vyce. Around 2010, I first heard of him through Dr Linksano. I first encountered him a couple of months later, after I had been kidnapped by him. For a month I was held in his ship, after which I was rescued and returned to Earth. I finally met Lord Vyce when Angry Joe mentioned a ship that looked like his entering Earth. He beamed down to my apartment. This is what happened."

The following showed almost the entire battle against Vyce, as Linkara was beaten and brutalized. Paw winced as Vyce drew blood.

"Luckily, the next battle ended with Vyce being banished to a deserted world with no technology. However, he managed to escape, in my robot friend's Pollo's old body, however, again we managed to defeat him, and the last I saw of him, he was flaoting out into the depths of space.

I don't know much about Lord Vyce, except what he told me. His home universe was ravaged by the Entity, as was several others. Vyce often went to where the Entity went next, always trying to defeat it, always failing. He often said that all that he saw, he conquered. He has a mass superoity complex, and refused to believe that I killed the Entity last year."

Linkara switched the TV off "I'm afraid it's not much, but still, it's information."
