Well, that was certainly quick. Pepper watched with the slightest feeling of suspicion as Bruce went down the stairs to the lab. Something seemed to be off. Pepper just couldn't put a finger on it. She followed the doctor down the flight of stairs. "So you think this will be the best place to find Tony?" Pepper asked. The more she thought about it, the more likely it seemed Tony would be down here. After all, the more she thought about it, it wasn't unlike Tony to spend long nights in the lab back home.

"It wouldn't surprise me" Bruce's lips turn upward in a smile as he walks down the stairs and into the lab "Tony?" he calls out as he opens the door and looks around knowing full well there would be no Stark to be found. "Tone?" he calls out again now walking down the line of equipment.
