((Jan 31st. Morning. After "Raider from the Sky". So the Heroes can find out of Starscream's one-man attack on the villains the night prior and maybe give him a hand. Open to Heroes. I know that thread isn't quite finished...but it pretty much is so...yeah
Best Starscream quote ever. No, not even the quote - how it was delivered))
The Decepticon had spend most the night trying to navigate the forest back to the fimilar spot closer to that pathetic fleshling city. Without equilibrium sensors, he needless to say hit a tree or two (or a few dozen). Because he was drianed to the point of no longer being able to fly, Starscream had to walk. Actually, run for a good time to get away from the creatures he attempted to steal from. When you're twenty feet tall, it's hard to hide, but he was at least smart enough to use the cover of night.
As the day came back, he began to notice the place becoming more fimilar, even in the energy-straved daze he was falling into. Starscream stopped and sat down to lean against a tree (making it tilt), pretty much giving up. The grey-and-red body of the Transformer was still smoking in spots and short-circuted from time to time. Even then, the lair of a Decepticon didn't want to call for help to those... biological paracites! But, it soon dawned on him that there was no way he was going to be able to collect Energon in his state and if he was caught by a particuarly strong enemy, he would be disassembled for scrap in no time.
Spitefully slamming his head on the tree that was keeping him from falling over, Starscream decided to spare a bit of energy to send to distress signal to his, ahem, "allies".
"At least Megatron doesn't know about this," He grumbled, desperate to find a bright side to the whole thing.
