Poor Unfortunate Soul

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti nodded glad Facilier agreed that no one would hurt Iheart. He frowned as Facilier mentioned his good behavior and then suddenly Facilier vanished into thin air. He let out a sigh glad he was gone. He trudged back to the house hoping he wouldn't run into anyone especially Critic and Iheart. He just wanted to take a shower and jump into bed. As soon as he reached the door he frowned hearing familiar voices Iheart and Critic were in the living room chatting. They must have wanted to make sure he was safe. He couldn't blame them. After his last fiasco of losing his memories and practically handing Goggles to the villains he felt like a screw up and now he was a traitor. Maybe if he was quiet they wouldn't hear him. He however stepped to go inside as the porch creaked announcing his arrival. Maybe he could run upstairs before they came. He walked to the stairs starting to climb them knowing it was stupid to run up them where he'd just trip for sure.

(ooc: would love Iheart & Critic to spot him and maybe have a quick convo like saying they trust him or could always count on him trying to cheer him up and indirectly making him feel worse. xd)

"I'm worried about him" Critic replied looking outside

"He'll be fine Critic. Trust me on this" IHeart replied. Critic frowned then nodded going from the living room to outside to practice some fighting. IHeart though saw Ma-Ti going up and she smiled happily, glad to see him. IHeart caught him and replied "Heya Ma-Ti. Critic was wonderin where you ran off to" She then frowned seeing he wasn't happy about something and not knowing what was wrong kissed his cheek comfortingly and asked "Are you ok? What's wrong?"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti froze as Iheart noticed him. He turned around and forced a smile hoping she couldn't tell.

"I'm fine. I just had to clear my head for a bit." said Ma-Ti.l

It wasn't a total lie. That's what he'd started to do until Facilier had shown up. He also knew he couldn't tell anyone. Faciiler probably had shadows or something watching him by now or else he wouldn't know how to reach him when he was out alone walking.

"So how are you doing? I wish we could go on another date. But they'd probably say it's too dangerous to go." said Ma-Ti, changing the subject.

[IHeart]

"Oh alright. I'm probably paranoid" Hook, line and sinker. IHeart definitely bought it. IHeart trusted Ma-Ti with anything. After all, that was the point of a relationship right? Tell the truth? Then Ma-Ti asked her how she was and shrugged "Nothing has happened with me really. Been busy training and things like that. The four dalmatian puppies have been sleeping in my room a lot more since... Well... Patch"

She sighed. She felt bad for those innocent dogs. More importantly she felt bad that patch was so not happy with them, that he had to leave. She covered up her pity with a smile "But other than that. I'm fine. I'm just glad you didn't get yourself into a situation where you have to lie to me or better yet, fight for your life over"

(OCC: *gets headshot for writing irony*)

Ma-Ti sighed feeling guilty for lying to her.

So. Again, I don't really need any information. You're free to go back to little IHeart. If she asks where you've been, tell her nothing. Obviously, like the rest, you cannot tell her. If she somehow gets in my sights though, I'll let her be the only one to know and be sure not to spill. Something tells me she'll be willing to keep quiet"

Ma-Ti frowned as he remembered Facilier's words. He couldn't tell anyone not even her or he'd be dead. He knew Facilier would do it too. He had no choice to work for him for now. But he'd find a way to get free. At least this way he'd ensured Iheart's safety that Facilier and none of his allies would hurt her. He just hoped this temporary alliance wouldn't hurt Iheart, Critic, or any of the others.

"I'm sorry about Patch. Either Mechakara brainwashed him or he does have a kinder side. He does have two daughters after all. He can't be all bad. At least we know Patch will be safe. Mechakara doesn't let anyone hurt someone he cares about from what I've seen." said Ma-Ti.

He forced a smile as she mentioned she was glad he didn't get into another situation. But he already had. Facilier was his master as long as he had control of him. There was nothing he could do now. But one day he'd be free again. He didn't notice his ring faintly glow for a couple seconds before dying down as if something was trying to help him but was stopped.

"I'm just glad you're safe. If something had happened to you and I wasn't here to help you I'd be devastated." said Ma-Ti.

IHeart pondered. Something was off with Ma-Ti. Maybe it was her but she could sense a strange omen that something was wrong and she didn't notice it. She shook her head. Trying to move on and talk to Ma-Ti. She then listened to what Ma-Ti commented about Patch. She couldn't help but agree with it. Mechakara was a evil bastard but if he wanted to protected DarkHeart, Seven and Patch so much, then he probably just was their enemy and only protected his allies. So, IHeart couldn't argue with that concept.

She responded about patch calmly "Yeah. If Patch is happy with him, then mechakara just has a side to him that he doesn't want us to see. Well, we can't force Patch to go anymore. He's happy there I guess so what can we do?" She shrugged nonchantly. Freckles did mention that she felt betrayed but IHeart knew hating family was not a good solution.

She got closer to Ma-Ti, not paying attention to the glowing ring either and just calmly looked at him with trust and care. She knew he was being honest there, if she was gone Ma-Ti did go through a depression as IHeart was told by some of the members. She responded back "Me too. If you were hurt or something, I'd be beside myself. I just don't want to loose the person I love more than anything"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti nodded glad she bought his story for now. He smiled as she agreed with him about Patch and Mechakara.

"I'm sure he'll be fine. Patch left by choice remember. Besides he's no threat to us. He's only a puppy. I doubt Mechakara would put him in any battles. So he's safe." said Ma-Ti.

He paused knowing how everyone felt especially Maleficent and the dalmatians.

"It's a good thing Maleficent's sick right now. Or she'd probably be tearing the house apart with her anger. She considered Patch a friend like anoter pet like Diablo. And Freckles and the others just lost a brother. I know Jasmine and Grimhilde are going to be there for Maleficent but it's the dogs we have to there for. I know what it's like to lose a family member. Patch isn't dead but he might as well be as they might never see each other again." said Ma-Ti..

He paused as she got closer to him. He smiled and hugged her.

"Promise me you'll stay safe. I can't make any promises Iheart. I've already died once. If something happens to me again I want you to live. To stay with Critic and the others and keep fighting. Don't get yourself killed trying to avenge me. I don't want anything to happen to you. It's probably never going to happen but I want you to promise me." said Ma-Ti.

He knew it was a long shot but if he had to he'd let himself die to keep them safe. He knew it would tear them apart that's why he was going along with this for now. But at least they'd be safe.

[IHeart]

"If he did I'd punch him for the hell of it" IHeart replied slightly. Yes it was admittedly stupid to threaten the fact she would punch a man made of metal but she didn't care about that. Mechakara was patch's new friend and if he betrayed that poor dog and force him into battle without any help, she'd help patch be safe and terminate mechakara. She may have accepted patch's decision but she still despised that metalmouth.

She then nodded sadly as maleficent and the others were said to be so upset with Patch. She nodded "Yeah. I worry about the pups. Jasmine and Diablo will handle Maleficent but the three pups are beside themselves. Freckles especially. Freckles probably was patch's best childhood buddy. She's been whining to sleep. I wish I could comfort that poor thing better"

She then was interupted a bit by Ma-Ti's hug. She hugged him tightly. Feeling safer in his clutches. She then pondered as Ma-ti told her to stay away from trouble IF something happened to him again. She didn't know how to respond. She realized that it would indeed be dumb to avenge someone who was dead and probably wouldn't see it. Something about his determination for her to promise him to be careful, made her feel obligated to promise. She couldn't help her next move. She kissed him lovingly and after a long time of that kiss she replied "I promise. I'll be careful. Just promise me that you'll be ok whereever you are"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti frowned hearing her statement before looking at her worriedly.

"You stay from Mechakara. Let Linkara handle him. Please." said Ma-Ti.

He wasn't sure if she was serious but Mechakara would kill her or worse hand her off to Dark Heart for sure. He knew Facilier said they were allied with him but he had no guarantee Facilier would keep his promise and keep Iheart safe from them. He wanted her as far away from those robots as possible.

"Don't worry. They'll be fine. They've got their friends and they've got you. I know we'll help them through this. It will just take some time." said Ma-Ti.

He smiled as she hugged him back. He felt awful for lying to her. Hopefully it wouldn't be for too long. He smiled glad she would be careful and wouldn't avenge him if something happened to him.

"I'm glad. I just want you to stay safe. So where's everyone else? Already asleep?" asked Ma-Ti.

[IHeart]

IHeart nodded to all the things Ma-Ti said to her. She then smirked as he asked where everybody was. She looked at her clock and replied "It's eleven and a lot of people are tired from the activities we had to do today so most went to bed early while the kids went to bed at their regular time" She then replied with a very slight sigh of tiredness "I'm pretty worn out. I say we go to bed ourselves. Critic just went to his room"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti nodded glad things were going smoothly. Critic and the others asleep so he wouldn't have to deal with anyone else. He then blushed as she said go to bed knowing how that could have sounded if someone had overheard. He finally stammered and nodded.

"R-r-right. I'll see you in the morning then." said Ma-Ti.

He headed upstairs to his room. The talk with Iheart had done hims good but still he felt guiltier than ever. He had to break Facilier's hold on him somehow.

IHeart was confused to why Ma-Ti sounded and ran up to his room like that. She got the reason but it wasn't THE reason why he felt to leave that moment and she blushed so red her face was looking sunburned. She went over to say she didn't mean it like she did but he was gone. She sighed facepalming "I am such a idiot! Stupid!" She then went to her room to go to bed, unknowing of the horrible problem her boyfriend was forced under
