(OCC, Date is January the 4th. Closed to Blackberry and Snob. And if anyone wonders what the title means, in the show Watership Down, the main love song is called thank you stars. Hence with Blackberry being separated from her love Campion, the title is reflecting how lonely she is)
Blackberry was watching the stars. Even here, away from all she knew, the stars managed to retain their beautiful and mysterious nature. Suddenly she felt a silent tear trickle down her face. She missed them all: Fiver's visions, Pipkin's eagerness, Dandelion's stories, Bigwig's... Bigwiginess, Hawkbit's sarcasm, Hazel's leadership, Primrose's friendliness...
And then there was Campion. After all she had done in Darkhaven, she had been brought back from the love and care the two of them had had. She felt more tears on her cheeks, but didn't bother wiping them away. Quietly whispering into the wind "I love you Campion. I love all of you".
Suddenly she saw the Snob walking out, quickly wiping her tears she nodded to him "Hey, nice to see you".

(OCC: Chick, to prevent confusion. Kids Rock! is in the morning, Feeling Lost and Alone is in the afternoon and this thread is at night. If that's alright with you as well blackberry it'll be dark out now for her and Snob)
Snob was smoking a cigarette in both boredom and tiredness. It was late at night and if he wasn't so annoyed with the upcoming battle he'd be asleep. He then threw his cigarette in disgust and went to go walk but was interuptted by Blackberry. Looking down to the rabbit he made a face of confusion. He always liked animals a lot better than children but still it was hard to get over the fact Blackberry spoke. He tried to be nice and gave a smile "Hey there... Good to see you too. You're blackberry right?"

(OCC: No worries. Just keep in mind that paragraphs are needed sometimes)
Snob crouched down to look directly at the rabbit. He was indeed curious to what was bothering her. Was it the fact she wasn't at home or was it the fact that someone wasn't with her? Either one wouldn't surprise the egotistical critic. Trying to not appear as if he didn't care he gave a gentle tone of voice "What's wrong? Why are you feeling down?"

(OCC, yeah, will try and do that)
Blackberry sighed then suddenly started to speak her mind "I can deal with the fact that I'm away from home. I sometimes feel like I've spent my life in more places than any of my friends. It's just... it's just..." Taking a deep breath and having no idea why she was telling this to the snob she continued "Well, my mate, or what you'd call my husband. I've been taken apart from him for the second time in a while. I went through all hrair stages of mourning only to find out he was alive and avoiding me. And I finally got to join with him eventually, only to get pulled away from him again"
She stopped looking rather embarrassed "I don't know why I'm rambling on to you, you probably have better things to do".

I probably do but hell I feel really bad now for you Snob thought to himself as he patiently allowed Blackberry to speak her mind. The two of them were very unlikely allies due to him being a human and her being a rabbit, but he understood. The war was keeping him away from his wife Mrs. Snob and as much as he wasn't very focused on that stuff before this was one of those times where he(in his snobbish ways) actually missed his love.
Blackberry's story was indeed depressing so as a ally/friend, Cinema Snob smiled and patted the rabbit on the head like a child "Hey no worries. I've heard, seen and reviewed a lot of depressing things. That was nothing" Hearing himself he replied again to correct himself "What I meant is that it's ok. I understand"

Blackberry sighed "I know I'm not the only one. Do you have anyone your missing?" Suddenly she remembered her manners "Sorry, I forgot. What's your name?"

"I'm the cinema snob and the only reason I'm not begging for my wife right now is that I can call her on my cellphone" Cinema Snob replied to amuse the bunny. He frowned at that though "You know I never thought about my wife as much as I do now. Now that I'm thinking of her... I really want her" Snob sighed then chuckled "We're getting depressing now aren't we?"
Post by blackberry on Feb 21, 2012 16:58:30 GMT -5
Blackberry smiled ruefully. She had looked up some of the human words and had discovered what a phone was "I only wish I had a way to contact my friend. Still, maybe he'll come through the portal">
Hearing the Snob talk about his wife made her realize that she wasn't the only one who was alone "Yes we are, aren't we?"

Cinema Snob smirked and looked at the sky ruefully as if to try and get rid of the depressing topic. He petted the bunny again absentmindely as he began to speak "Depressing stuff does make things more interesting but it also just annoys the hell outta people including me. I think your mate is either back home or lost one way or another I'm pretty sure you'll find him" Admittedly he was still thinking about his wife and he felt kinda uncomfortable not because about missing his wife but because he felt sad about something... He normally was angry and annoyed not well sad

It felt nice, the Snob stroking the back of her body. She almost purred like a cat but stopped herself. She had to keep her composure "I suppose your right. He would't want me moping, I'll find him if it takes forever".

Snob smiled and sat down next to the rabbit, somewhat remembering his pet cat at home thanks to her purring. Without a second doubt he suddenly picked her up like a cat and continued stroking her and replied almost wisely "Its ok. You missing someone means you give a shit about them. Your mate is somewhere and even if he's not here with you, you will come back with him. If he loves you he'll wait. At least that's what I think" Snob was confused to how the hell he thought of that but he said it
Blackberry silently gasped as she was picked up and stroked. It may have been unnerving to others but it felt weirdly nice. Hearing what the Snob said made her feel slightly better and she began to wonder about Snob.

Curse my soft spot for animals Snob thought bitterly to himself. Blackberry's fur was very soft not as much as his cat's but definitely soft. Looking to the sky he smirked and said almost as if he was talking to himself "Gotta love the stars. They are the only things that ALWAYS make everything in the night artsy" His stroking of Blackberry's fur was very calming, it gave his angry side a break. Snob sighed a bit as he looked to the sky

Blackberry looked up at the stars "Yes, I know. It always make me feel a little better when I see it. The stars always stay the same wherever you are".
