Let The Battle Begin

[Nostalgia Chick]

Myotismon smirked walking over to Morpheus.

"You're a worthy opponent. Certainly better than the digidestined and most of your army. It's a shame you chose the winning side." said Myotismon.

Some Tengas grabbed the paralyzed Morpheus.

"Take him back to base." said Myotismon.

The Tengas nodded vanishing in a flash of purple and black energy. Myotismon smirked and flew away seeing the battle was nearly over anyway.

(ooc: Myotismon has left the thread taking Morpheus with him.)

"I failed. Now I'm going to be stuck in their dungeon. At least the other are safe. thought Chick.

She glanced over seeing Snob not sure if he could see her or not. She tried to loosen her ring hoping to throw it to him but it was stuck on her finger. Her mind wandered to her friends seeing them all fight, knowing she might never see them all again and was surprised to find she would miss Critic the most. She then vanished with Black Lantern Spoony.

Roses punched through Tengas stopped in complete shock as she watched Morpheus and Nostalgia Chick both get kidnapped.

"Guys! They got Chick and Morpheus. Regroup! Regroup!" shouted Roses.

She rushed to the spiders walking one with the bamboo stick. Chester joined her hacking at it with a sword.

Jasmine and Tender Heart began fighting the second spider with Tender Heart using his Care Bear Stare while Jasmine cracked her whip at it.

Linksano sparred with Raphael hearing Roses shout.

"They got Nostalgia Chick and Morpheus! Critic's going to go ballistic when he hears about this." said Linksano.

He turns to Raphael deciding he's a lost cause for the moment.

"You know what? If you want to be evil go ahead. My friends need me." said Linksano.

He turns around stopping to see the third spider still lunging at Linkara.

"Linkara! There's a Spider behind you!" shouted Linksano.

He grabbed 90's Kid, pulling him away from Raphael.

"I fear he's been brainwashed or something. We can deal with him later. But we got giant spiders here! Come on." said Linksano.

He turned and charged at the third spider pulling out his laser gun at firing at it.

(ooc: Feel free for Raphael to chase after them if you wish. I just figured it'd be more fun for a group battle with Critic's army and the spiders. xd)

[Spoony]

Raphael wasn't listening. At all. He was too angry to. He never thought of the enemy actually going to save one another, unless for benefit. Angerily he left them be. For they seemed to be too pathetic to even bother with. When he heard the woman called "Roses" shout about kiddnapping. It was admittedly good for Raphael, now chick and morpheus could tell him what he wanted

Spoony heard Roses' call and without a second knocked Insano out and shouted "Linkara! We gotta regroup. Nostalgia Chick and Morpheus got kidnapped! REGROUP!" With that he went over and helped attack roses enemies

"Dude! Like, not cool! Critic's gonna be pissed for sure!" 90's kid frowned. Now things were FAR more serious than ever. This wasn't helping their cause of battles

Snob turned to hear Chick's cries then he ran yelling "I'm coming!" Before he could he saw her and black lantern spoony disappear. He let out a cry of anger before running to Roses "We gotta beat all these things. We're running out of people and energy"

[Pushing Up Roses]

Roses turned to Spoony, Linkara, and Linksano.

"If you've guys got some secret weapon now's the time to spring it." said Roses.

Dark Nella turned glancing at the fight before back at Maleficent.

"Well I'm willing to continue this fight. But I think your pals are about to become spider food. Now I don't think you can win if half your army gets killed." said Dark Nella.

She glanced around spotting Raphael, Rita, Dr. Insano, and Dr. Smith randomly around the field.

"Regroup over here!" shouted Dark Nella.

Rita heard the call and reluctantly nodded. The lioness was still busy fighting anyway. She teleported away over to the pair and Maleficent.

Dr. Smith turned to Dr. Insano.

"Well looks like the spiders are doing the work. I'd love to see how they get out of this." said Dr. Smith.

He laughed before hearing Dark Nella's command.

"Makes sense. If they manage to defeat those spiders I'm not sure I want to be around here. Linkara can sure pack a punch." said Dr. Smith.

He turned and began walking towards Dark Nella's group.

The dark cream lioness stopped fightning as her dark green orbs scanned and she saw that Rita had gone . Well Sarafina had a chance to fight with the monster . Ears flicked as the dark - green eyed female feline didn't know what to do . So the dark cream female lion left the battle .

(OOC : Sarafina left the theard now )

[Linkara]

Linkara looked at all his friends. With the Nostalgia Chick and Morpheous gone, he felt as though they had lost the battle. And worst, one of his best friends was gone "Critic's going to kill us." Linkara merely stating the fact. He looked at everyone. then at the ground "We have two choices, go after them and most likely get killed, or..." And he paused sadly "Get back to the house and formulate a plan."

[Pushing Up Roses]

"Getting ourselves killed won't help Morpheus or Nostalgia Chick. We should take out these spiders and then go back and make a plan. We don't need them making these spiders stronger." said Roses.

She threw her stick at the first spider's legs knocking it over revealing a control panel underneath.

"No way. Their chest is their weakness." said Roses.

Chester ran at it with Roses following retrieving her stick as they kept attacking the chest before the spider had a chance to recover.

Jasmine followed the strategy using her whip to knock the second spider down.

"It's on this one too." said Jasmine.

"Care Bear Stare!" shouted Tender Heart.

An energy beam struck the chest as he tried to open the hatch. Jasmine helped him striking it with her whip in an attempt to open it.

Just when it seemed that Maleficent had gotten the upper hand, Dark Nella appeared out of nowhere and blasted her with a kind of green energy. The attack was so sudden, so out of the blue that the fairy-turned-dragon had no time to dodge, and she was rewarded for her slow reflexes with a sharp pain in her shoulder. Green flames and an angry roar burst from her mouth, both directed at Dark Nella. By some stroke of fortune, Maleficent managed to dodge Ask ThatGuy’s attack but was stopped cold at Dark Nella’s taunt.

“ Well I'm willing to continue this fight. But I think your pals are about to become spider food. Now I don't think you can win if half your army gets killed.”

Eyes wide, Maleficent swung her head around and found that her allies had regrouped and were being attacked by what appeared to be spiders, though they were unlike any type of spider Maleficent had ever seen. She frowned – as much as she wanted to destroy Ask ThatGuy and Dark Nella, it would be prudent to go and help her allies, even if they were only her allies grudgingly. Teeth bared, she turned to face the dark pair.

“We have business to settle. Do not forget it, because I can guarantee you that I will not.”

With that, Maleficent took to the air and landed over the ragtag group of heroes in an attempt to shelter them. She swiped her powerful tail out at the spiders, not wanting to risk burning her allies. Although she hoped that this would be the end of the spiders, Maleficent knew nothing about them and thus didn’t know what their weak points were.

“If we’re to retreat –” the word left a bitter taste in her mouth, “– then we ought to do it quickly, before the enemy can regroup.” She flapped her wings, silently inviting the others to climb onto her back and trying hard not to think about what this would do to her reputation – or what was left of it, at least. “This is a one-time offer, so I’d suggest you all make up your minds now.”

Craning her neck to look over her allies, Maleficent suddenly realized that they were down by several and frowned.

“Where are the rest of you?” she demanded. “Chick and Morpheus and…?”

She trailed off, eyes wide.

[Princess Jasmine]

The spiders however soon got up. Jasmine, Tender Heart, Roses, and Chester soon rejoined the group with Maleficent's arrival.

"We lost Morpheus and Nostalgia Chick. But I'm not sure about Patch." said Jasmine.

"Patch was okay last I saw him. I think he went back home." said Roses.

She paused glancing at the others.

"Those spiders are stronger than I thought. I don't know if we can fight all three of them right now. A lot of us are worn out from fighting." said Roses.

"I vote for retreating. I don't want to become spider food or end up a prisoner." said Chester.

Jasmine frowned. She was not used to retreating. But she could see the other's points. They'd lost two members, and others had been hurt or retreated already. They couldn't last much longer out here.

"I don't like it but you're right. We should leave now while we have the chance." said Jasmine.

"I vote for retreating as well." said Tender Heart.

"I'm agreeing with the majority here. If we were at our best maybe we could hold out a bit longer. But I think Maleficent and Linkara are the only ones left strong enough to fight off those spiders or the rest of them." said Linksano.

He glanced at the remaining villains, worried.

Dark Nella smirked as the heroes regrouped.

"We're done here. It doesn't look like they have much fight left in them." said Dark Nella.

She snapped her fingers as a black portal appeared behind them. She stepped through it vanishing.

Dr. Smith pressed a button as the spiders vanished as he knew Maleficent might have the power to defeat them and he didn't want to spend time rebuilding them. He then stepped through the portal next to return to the base.

Rita nodded knowing the battle was done here. The rest of them would soon retreat anyway. She stepped through the portal as well teleporting home.

Across the battlefield Roses turned to see the spiders had gone and the villains had begun to leave.

"Looks like the battle's over. We better go let Critic and the others know what happened." said Roses.

Roses presses a button on her communicator vanishing in a flash of white energy. Tender Heart, Jasmine, Linksano, and Chester press the same button on their own communicators as they teleport away off to the Critic's house.

[Spoony]

90's kid frowned "We're screwed. The critic's gonna kill us" With that shrewd comment he too teloported and retreated alongside everyone else.

Spoony looked to the battlefield then to maleficent and replied "Love retreating especially when you have nothing to fight with" With a sigh to the fact Critic's anger was going to increase at Chick's capture he used Linksano's transporter and disappeared

Insano cackled "Soon Spoony. We'll meet again in one on one combat" Laughing, he ran to the portal insulting the heroes as he left

Ask Thatguy sighed sadly. For pinnochio mostly. He looked to maleficent with a glare then he breathed out the words "Don't worry my son. I'll find you. We'll get you back" With that he ran inside.

"Someday Master Splinter. I'll get you out of there" Raphael sadly replied looking angerily at the heroes before running inside.

Snob sneered at the villains, despising the fact of retreat but they had no other option. With rude cursing and insults he transported back to base

Linkara lept up and swept with his sword in a downward arc towards the robot. The robot's head fell. Sighing, he turned to Spoony "See you back at the house" And with that Linkara disappeared.

Maleficent watched as her allies disappeared from the battlefield one by one and could not help but feel slightly miffed that they hadn’t taken her up on the offer to get them away. Didn’t they trust her?

Gold eyes swept over the battlefield, and a low, frustrated growl escaped her. This wasn’t right. They shouldn’t be leaving now. Not when the enemy was still breathing. It went against everything she believed in, but a retreat was called for. Besides, they all seemed to be leaving as well.

How the mighty have fallen.

With a bitter snort, Maleficent ascended into the air.
