A Daring Rescue

Gadget desperatly tried to force the door open, but it wouldn't work. Quickly she lept to the control panel, trying frantically to find which wire would work and open the door. She didn't have much time. There was only so much Paw and Blackberry could do in the circumstances.

(OCC: Do you want her to open the door?)

Blackberry crouched behind Paw. The music man suddenly seemed to have gone into a trance as one of the blasts touched his headphones. His eyes snapped open in rage.

TOUCHES

MY

HEADPHONES!!!!!!!!!"

He screamed and pulled out a large mace, running at Mechakara and swinging it hard. Blackberry quickly ran after him to try and save him.

(ooc: I guess not. Maybe the panel gets fried during the battle or something since Critic & I want the three to stay captured a bit longer.)

Mechakara smirked as one of the blasts touched the headphones and Paw snapped charging at him. He made a mental note to remember that as it might prove useful in later battles.

"You think you can stop me with me a primitive weapon? As The Borg once said your resistance is futile." said Mechakara.

He grabbed the mace shoving it backwards along with Paw.

"Why don't you both just hold still? This won't be take long." said Mechakara.

He smirked and sent a blast of energy at both of them. He turned glancing at the cell making sure they were still in there. He turned seeing Gadget at the controls.

"Sorry but you rescue has been denied." said Mechakara.

He turned firing at the console in an attempt to destroy it and possibly take out the mouse as well.

Gadgets shrill voice rove a octave as she lept for the safety of the floor, just as the console exploded. She had no hope of freeing Chick and the others now. She looked around, and ran over to join Paw.

Paw fell backwards, still in a fury about his headphones. Blackberry pulled back Paw.

[Pushing Up Roses]

Mechakara laughed glancing at the trio.

"There's still time to retreat. If you're fast enough." said Mechakara.

He tosses a few blasts of energy at Paw, Blackberry, and Gadget.

Roses frowned seeing they were getting nowhere in the fight. At this rate they could be do this for hours or until the other villains returned. She tapped her communicator contacting Paw.

"Paw, any luck on getting Chick and the others free? If we can't get them out soon we may have to retreat." said Roses.

Jasmine continued fighting Tengas punching, or slashing at them with her sword. Dr. Facilier, Rita, and Dr. Smith were just a few obstacles. They'd gotten rid of Scar and Mechakara had retreated for the moment. They had to hurry before reinforcements arrived.

Queen Grimhilde held a dagger in her hand as she wasn't used to fighting yet. She swept the dagger across the Tengas injuring a few of them. She tossed a couple of her potions at Facilier and Rita doubting they'd do much to them. But even if it slowed them down for a bit it'd give Splinter and the others time to attack them.

"No! Mechakara's fighting us, and Gadget tried to get them out. But the panel's been fried. I have the feeling that we wouldn't be able to get out. Roses, should we get out of here or not? I don't think we can do this." Paw watched as Blackberry dodged, taking Gadget with her out of the corrider.

[Pushing Up Roses]

Roses listened to Paw and frowned.

"Then we've got no choice. We got to retreat and try again later." said Roses.

She then turned to everyone around her.

"Come on. We got to retreat." said Roses.

She then stopped realizing she didn't see Spoony anywhere. She turned to Snob.

"Snob. Have you seen Spoony? We need to go but we can't let anyone else get captured." said Roses.

Jasmine heard the order and frowned. If they couldn't rescue the others they had to get out before they joined them.

"Alright. See you back home." said Jasmine.

She turned and bolted running outside the back door. Once she was outside she teleported home.

Queen Grimhilde frowned as well. She hated to retreat without finding the device or rescuing Chick and the others. But she knew they had to go. She turned and ran out the back door like Jasmine. Once outside she also teleported home.

Paw, Blackberry and Gadget ran back to join the group. Linkara was firing his magic gun everywhere trying to hit at least one person, but it didn't seem to be working. As Gadget and Blackberry teleported themselves back to the house, Paw turned around and had to drag Linkara out of the house. As he teleported, Linkara was still ranting.

"THEIVES. MURDERER!! COWARDS!!!"

Sarafina looked at Scar and growled ., She was angry that she got a wound on her stomach and neck . So the dark creamy lioness ran away ,telporting herself to Critic 's house .

[Spoony]

Facilier heard Rita's cry but went out of the way so Roses wouldn't be able to catch it. He also was amused he got under Linkara's skin, he reminded himself to keep an eye out to do so again. Then he saw many of the heroes retreating and resisted the urge to taunt, they won so let them escape.

Spoony stayed perfectly motionless for a period of time, he hoped someone would help him. He was still quite motionless, he had the very deep worry that he would get kiddnapped. He just hoped roses had sense to find him

Snob nodded "He was fighting with Insano. I was going to get him back but we got company. I'll deal with these guys and you go get everyone out of here, Roses" Snob bravely replied. He had a fear of these odds but he was not one to chicken out so easily. He knew this was serious

Morpheus was simply worried about the odds of anyone else getting captured. Sure patch was a problem to have in the villains clutches but so was everyone else. All he wanted them to do now was run

Insano laughed evilly, unlike facilier who quietly celebrated, Insano was more excited about the failure the heroes had. He now saw they were retreating and enjoyed it

Roses nodded.

"Alright but be careful. Most of the others have gone. It's just us, Splinter, and Spoony left here I think." said Roses.

Roses then rushed out searching for Spoony She then found him with Dr. Insano. She swung her sword at him wildly trying to keep him away from Spoony. She glanced down worriedly at him. He looked hurt. She tapped into her communicator.

"Snob, Splinter. We've got a problem. Spoony's down. I'm going to need some help getting him out of here." said Roses.

[Spoony]

Splinter saw the queen has left so he ran by Snob's side as fast as he could. Splinter then reported back to his own communicator "Roses, Snob and I will meet you back at home. I shall help and check Spoony's injuries but get him out of here. If he is clearly not moving to fight than he's injured" Splinter then turned to Snob who looked at the rat in almost of needing of comfort, it was clear snob was slightly afraid.

Spoony wanted to tell Roses he was not as injured at she thought he was. He couldn't though, for the paralyzation ray did the trick of making his body not fuction at all. The only things working were his heart and brain, if not he'd probably be dead.

Dr. Insano was amused by Roses and chuckled "Poor Spoony. The paralyzation ray was slightly too much for him. He's not burned but just because he has no physical wounds doesn't mean he may be able for life anymore" He then laughed again, stopping to speak a threat and also another mock for Spoony "I'd watch your back girl, for I may not be nice next time. You might as well take your pathetic gamer friend and leave before I decide to kill you next"

[Pushing Up Roses]

Roses nodded.

"Alright. Just get yourselves back home. I'll get Spoony home." said Roses.

She ended the communication before turning to Dr. Insano and frowned.

"I can't believe you were ever a part of Spoony. I'm glad he's finally free of you." said Roses.

She turned and tapped Spoony's communicator teleporting him away. She then tapped her own communicator teleporting out as well.

(OCC: OK. Since Splinter and snob are the apparent last heroes. My post will be the last!)

Insano only scoffed. Let the girl leave. Let her think he was a monster, let her believe the goodytwo world she meant nothing. Insano went over to his lab and simply waited for the irony to end.

"We have a chance now they're falling back!" Snob replied relieved. He quickly activated his teleporter and expected Splinter to do the same. Splinter nodded and turned his on and with one quick look at each other, both he and Snob transported and disappeared.

They failed to get the captives but they did successfully escape with their lives. It was over, and the battle may have been lost but the war was not over
