An Ambush

[Ma-Ti]

"Raphael you heard Ask That Guy. We'll get him next time. We have to go or we won't be able to help him at all." said Dr. Smith.

He pressed a button on his device teleporting out in a flash of black energy.

Dark Nella had watched the fight while trying to stop Maleficent. She was shocked at Tenderheart's power earlier and Goggles kissing Black Lantern Spoony. Perhaps they had a future ally they could recruit later. She heard the command and saw Dr. Smith leave but she wasn't going to leave until she had to. Maleficent had hurt her son and she was going to pay.

(ooc: Not sure how long you want this battle to go. We can fight for a bit more and then Dark Nella can retreat.)

"Bring it on!" said Ma-Ti, as he ran at him again.

Ma-Ti gasped as Black Lantern blasted him and he flew across the room land into the wall. He passed out onto the floor unconscious as the black aura faded from his body.

"Ma-Ti. That's it. We've got no choice." said Marzgurl.

She typed a command on the console to activate the distress beacon sending it to all the communicators with a message of we're under attack. She then typed a button on her control as Ma-Ti teleported into the room on the console. She walked over to him with a frown wondering what had happened to him.

"Guys please hurry. We need you." whispered Marzgurl.

(ooc: I figure only those with powers/magic saw the aura. Black Lantern Spoony was the only one fighting Ma-Ti at the time while everyone just saw Ma-Ti snap. xd)

Goggles gasped as Ma-Ti flew across the room before teleporting out. She hoped he was okay despite his outburst. She glanced back at Black Lantern Spoony and then heard the retreat. She staggered to her feet as she walked closer to him. She wasn't sure what the ring's powers were. But she hoped they at least protected him. She hated seeming him get hurt and hoped he was okay.

"You alright?" asked Goggles.

“Come! We have what we want! The boy is with me! Retreat!”

Maleficent looked away from the fight with Dark Nella, stepping aside just in time to avoid being blasted with their combined magical energies. The blast went straight through the wall, but the fairy barely noticed. Her eyes were fixed firmly on Ask ThatGuy as he fled the house with Pinocchio in tow.

“No!”

Forget Nella. Maleficent would be damned if she allowed their hostage to escape. Ducking in and out of the various battles, she moved to follow them. The transformation began the instant she was out the door.

“Going somewhere?” she hissed, smoke pouring from her mouth.

[Black Lantern Spoony]

Raphael cursed under his breath. He didn't want to leave. Not without Splinter but yet again he had to wait. Besides, mikey was back at their lair and without raph he too may or may not get captured so he had a mixed feeling. With a threatening glare to most of the heroes he transported out of the way

Black Lantern Spoony felt the closeness of goggles and also felt the concern in her voice, it almost made him feel the humans would call "guilt" or "pity". However he snapped out of it and replied "Your friend will be alright. I am alright as well" With that remark he pulled her closer to him again, putting a arm around her back and rubbing it gently. He replied calmly and almost with a emotional look on his face he replied "Come with me. Join us. You are a good ally. Besides, a man needs a powerful woman by his side" Then he passionately kissed her again holding her close

90's kid snuck away and said to Chester "Dude! Come on follow me!" With that he replied to the other heroes "If anyone has a concussion let me know I'mma check on Marzgurl!" With that he went back to the medical part and asked "How's Dr. Linksano? And what about ma-ti?"

"He too is hurt" Critic replied putting Ma-Ti on his bed which was beside Lilo's bed which was used by IHeart who was still sleeping. Lilo looked to 90's kid and asked "What just happened back there"

Black Lantern Spoony after he stopped kissing Goggles he spoke again "You don't need these people. I can make you happy. Remember the... times we had?" From what black lantern spoony heard goggles thought he was the real spoony and from the sound of it she and spoony had previous things in the past. He wanted her to join him, he wanted her to be with him, he just wanted her

All she had to do is speak than he would either find a way to convince her to come or take her away with him. He gave a small seductive smile

[That Chick With The Goggles]

Goggles smiled walking towards him. She'd lost him once and they hadn't spoken for months. She couldn't lose him again. But she didn't want to betray her friends either. But then he kissed her again and those thoughts almost went out the window. But as he pulled back she was wtill torn on what to do. When he spoke again and smiled at her like that she almost felt her knees give out. He sure wasn't making it easy. In her mind it was Spoony possessed or not and she couldn't leave him alone with those other villains. She was about to say something when she felt herself grabbed once again.

Nani now free from Raphael grabbed Goggles pulling her away from him and towards the medbay away from Black Lantern Spoony.

"Come on. Snap out of it. He's the enemy." said Nani.

Tender Heart frowned not sure if his stare would work on metal. But those guns could do a lot of damage. But he had no idea what booze was.

"Your leader's already called a retreat. Whatever this booze is you better find it quickly before more help arrives." said Tenderheat.

Marzgurl smiled seeing 90's Kid return glad he was alright. She glanced down at the unconscious Iheart and Ma-Ti and glanced at the injured Lilo. She slammed her fist into the wall in anger.

"They're just kids. They shouldn't be fighting in a war." said Marzgurl.

She paused glancing at Critic as her eyes widened as she remembered Iheart's father from Suburban Knights and how protective he was of Iheart and how he could wield a sword.

"Her father's going to kill us." said Marzgurl.

Dark Nella frowned as Maleficent ran out the door. She gasped realizing where she was headed. Her fiancee and son were out there. She wasn't going to let her hurt either of them. She charged after them.

"Retreat or help me stop her!" said Dark Nella, racing past Bender and Black Lantern Spoony.

[Black Lantern Spoony]

Black Lantern Spoony made a curse in a unknown language and replied to Goggles "It's your choice! I'll be awaiting your decision!" With that he retreated quickly remembering the boy was still in danger. Black Lantern Spoony went in front of Ask Thatguy who sneered at Maleficent holding on to the boy tightly. Black Lantern Spoony chanted then blasted a magnificent spell across the dragon's aimed chest

Critic cursed as well, remembering IHeart's father. Wait... Didn't she say something about her father telling her to be careful? Damnit! Critic replied "Ma-Ti and IHeart are now hurt. While I'm already healing. Damnit. We need to stop the war... Where the hell are the others?!"

Bender felt the human jump onto his back. In most cases, he could have kept standing, but his weakened leg collapsed causing him to be knocked onto his side. The robot was disoriented for a moment or two before he heard the call to retreat. He felt the weight come off of him and he moved back to his foot-cups.

"Crap!" Was all he could think to say to express his dissapointment.

His narrowed eyes fallowed the Disney Villian and Dark Nella as they moved from the building. But then, he caught wind of what Tenderheart had told him. What. An. Idea!

Bender turned his head toward Dark Nella and gave her a snide salute "good bye". He then proceeded to dash toward where he assumed the kitchen was. As he went, he shot continiously with the lazer rifle pointed directly ahead of him. Since the weapon was not an audomatic, there were sizable breaks in-between shots. It wasn't the robot's goal to shoot anyone - he just needed a release. Nor was it like he would be able to hit anyone since his made such a scene, anyone could see him coming from a mile away.

"I'm gonna do what I came to do, dammit! Gwahahaha!"

((ooc: no one has to get hurt by Rambo-bot here, just couldn't resist having him loose it XP - unless someone wants to wound their character or something. Feel free to take him down))

Harv roared as Linksano flung himself into the path of danger. "NO you idiot! They don't need me!" After seeing Marzgurl teleport away with him, he had thrown around random bullets at anyone on the other side. And seeing Bender run to the kitchen gave him an idea. Recharging his latest weapon, a lazer built by Linksano, he fired it several times in the direction of Bender.

[That Chick With The Goggles]

Goggles nodded back to Black Lantern Spoony as he left and Nani dragged her away. She was torn between her feelings and her friendship with the others so she was glad her choice was taken away for the moment. In the medical bay, Nani shoved her into a seat.

"One of you talk to her. I got to get back out there." said Nani.

She turned and ran back upstairs heading outside to join Maleficent. Pinocchio was just a kid. He shouldn't be with that other army anyway. They had to get him back.

Tender Heart saw Harvey head after Bender so he turned and ran outside after joining Maleficent and Nani. He saw the blast aimed for Maleficent.

"Care Bear Stare!" said Tender Heart.

He sent a blast of energy at the beam. However, his powers were back to their weakened state and he wouldn't be able to hold the blast back for much longer.

"Maleficent hurry. I don't know how long I can hold this back." said Tender Heart.

Dark Nella rushed outside joining Ask That Guy, Pinocchio, and Black Lantern Spoony. She saw Tender Heart's feeble attempt at holding back Black Lantern Spoony's power. They'd caused enough damage and even injured a couple people. Their main mission had been completed in recovering Pinocchio. She leaned over whispering to Ask That Guy but loud enough Black Lantern Spoony could hear the plan as well.

"Most of the others have gone back to base. Take Pinocchio and go. Black Lantern Spoony and I can hold them off." whispered Dark Nella.

Pinocchio looked up at Dark Nella and nodded. She would keep them safe.

"Mother's right. If we hurry father we can get out of here." said Pinocchio.

Dark Nella nodded smiling down at Pinocchio before turning back to Ask That Guy.

"Get him home safely." said Dark Nella.

She turned around and blasted green electricity at Maleficent hoping to finish what she'd started inside or at least distract her long enough.

The response Maleficent had anticipated came not from Ask ThatGuy, but from someone who looked bizarrely like Spoony – well, an evil version of Spoony, that is. Black Lantern Spoony, Nella called him. He shot a kind of spell at her chest. Maleficent prepared to defend herself –

“Care Bear Stare!

– but before she could get a blast of her own in, a strange light hit the spell and seemed to vie for its power, as her and Nella’s blast had before. The fairy-turned-dragon glanced down and saw that Tender Heart was the cause of it.

“Maleficent hurry. I don’t know how long I can hold this back.”

Though she disliked having to take orders from the Care Bear, Maleficent made an exception this one time, and within seconds, her fire joined the Care Bear Stare. There. That should give it enough power to take down the Spoony look-alike.

Out of nowhere, a shock of green electricity struck Maleficent in the flank. An agonized hiss escaped her, and she turned her flames to Nella for a moment before striking out at all four of them with her powerful tail. They would not escape.

(OOC: There are just the four of them, right? Ask ThatGuy, Dark Nella, Black Lanturn Spoony, and Pinocchio?)

[Nostalgia Critic]

Critic nodded as Nani left to help Tenderheart and Maleficent to keep their prisoner. Like Nani as much as pinnochio was their prisoner, he was a child that was being lied to. Without any resource though he looked to Goggles. As tempted as he was to yell at the naive woman, he knew at this moment it wouldn't solve things. So he crossed his arms and while Marzgurl was keeping apparent watch, Critic asked "Goggles, umm I know you apparently like spoony but why did you kiss Black Lantern Spoony instead?!"

"Like, Harvey! Need help bro?" 90's kid smirked showing off a weapon Linksano made for him. It was much like his power cannon-like gun but it had a longer angle. He ran over and attempted to restrain and attack Bender.

"Yes Ask Thatguy. Take the boy. Dark Nella and I have handled far worse" With that statement Black Lantern Spoony made a powerful spell occur by aiming his ring at Maleficent first since she was more powerful, then he used his ring to combat Tenderheart's carebear stare and held it as much as his power would allow

Ask Thatguy was tempted to say no, but there was the prize at hand, and he was carrying his poor son. If there was anything Ask Thatguy felt at the moment, it was guilt and protective instinct. Ask Thatguy whispered "I will.... Be careful dear" With that Ask Thatguy used his free hand to squeeze Nella's gently before holding onto Pinnochio tightly and running

(OCC: Alright guys, feel free to keep a battle going but in the end Ask Thatguy has to escape with Pinnochio)

"Fine, we focus together. But don't shoot the cieling, I don't need to explain to the Critic why he cant sleep in his room." Harvey ran along side the man child towards the kitchen, regularily firing at the robot. He prayed that Linksano was okay. He begged the God that he would not die.

[That Chick With The Goggles]

"What do you mean? They're the same person. Sure he's possessed by that ring but it's still Spoony in there right?" said Goggles.

"No. Black Lantern Spoony is an evil version of spoony from another universe. Like Mechakara or Linksano. Or what Linksano used to be." said Marzgurl.

She glanced at the unconscious Linksano glad he and Ma-Ti weren't hurt too bad. The worst so far seemed to be Iheart. She hoped Splinter and the others got back here soon.

"Another universe?" asked Goggles.

As she realized he wasn't the Spoony from this universe she found she wasn't happy. Black Lantern Spoony was from another universe and yet he'd shown more attention to her in just a few minutes than Spoony had since that night months ago. She knew it was time to talk to him. She'd avoided him before now because she didn't want to let her feelings get in the way of their mission to stop the other army. But she realized she couldn't keep running the rest of her life. She would talk to Spoony when he got back.

Tender Heart felt his blast increase with Maleficent's combined magic as it struck the blast pushing it backwards towards Black Lantern Spoony. He was focused on keeping the blast away he wasn't focusing on the rest of the fight. But then Black Lantern Spoony fired again as the blasts clashed from the mixture of good and evil energy as it just exploded in the sky. Tender Heart fell to the ground exhausted wishing some of his friends had come along after all. He didn't have the strength to do this on his own.

Nani ran to Tender Heart making sure he was alright while keeping an eye on the two villains. She stopped realizing someone was missing. Ask That Guy had escaped with Pinocchio. They pair was running down the street. Only Maleficent would have the power to stop him now but could she overpower Black Lantern Spoony and Dark Nella in time to stop them from getting away?

Dark Nella jumped dodging Maleficent's tail in time.

"Well you got what you wanted. You're a dragon. Let's see how strong you really are." said Dark Nella.

She threw a couple blasts of black energy blasts at her and followed that up with a blast of green electricity.

Bender felt a shot penitrate his body. He promply yelped and grabbed at the resulting hole in his bum. Still holding the lazer rifle in one hand, he turned it in the direction of who dared punch a hole in him. Bender fired a couple shots as he stepped backwards - his one leg giving him a slight limp.

"Alright, douche- Gah-ha!"

The robot recoiled again, being hit futher up his body than the last time, where it would cause more damage. Bender had to keep the gun up with one arm again as the other one went to cover the damage. He was pretty close to the fridge at that point. It was temptingly close, but he didn't want to stick around for much longer.

He turned the gun away from the humans and toward the fridge, fireing a lazer blast into it, just to spite them. Still ready to shoot back, he started to walk sideways, closer to a window. The expression he had was evidant that he was not a happy Bender.

"Screw this. I'll get you next time," He barked bitterly.

Then, he removed his arm from the bullet hole and extended it toward the window's edge to grab hold of it. When the arms pulled back in to a normal length, the rest of him came with along, so he hung from the window. He then threw himself, prahaps unnessisarily, through the glass. Getting his ass handed to him was becoming too humiliating for comfort.

Maleficent’s roar of pain split the cold winter air as Black Lantern Spoony’s blast hit its target – her shoulder. The fairy-turned-dragon stumbled about for the briefest of moments, struggling to regain her balance and focus on the battle. Reptilian gold eyes landed on he who had attacked her and narrowed in nothing short of fury.

“Insect…”

With a few flaps of her powerful wings, she was airborne, just narrowly missing bearing the brunt of Dark Nella’s attacks – she was only lightly grazed, and her tough hide was perfectly capable of numbing the pain. Emerald flames poured from her mouth onto the waiting ground below, aiming to blast Nella and the Spoony look-alike to ashes – and perhaps scorch Ask ThatGuy as well.

Harvey didn't care anymore, he had been incredibly pissed that Linksano had been injured saving him, and he wanted to take it out on Bender. He jumped through the window, and stared in the direction of the robot, pulling out a pistol, he fired at him.
