DarkHeart was bored. She wasn't interested in Chick nor interested in Morpheus. She only wanted to do something else. So she went to the backyard to observe the setting of the house, or "think things out" as BLS said to her. She then saw Mechakara, with Patch and out of pure amusement for patch and curiousity of Mechakara. She went over and replied running after them. When she caught up with them, she smirked at Patch, who looked up at her curiously

"So. This is the adorable little spotty pup eh? Well I can see why some would want to keep him alive. Mostly me but that's besides the point" DarkHeart spoke calmly

"Dead as dust. Ashes to ashes" Insano continued even going so far as to poke Chick's cheek. He giggled as he went over to Dr. Smith. He nodded in agreement "I bet IHeart will be sobbing. She always had a heart to big for anyone to handle"

[Mechakara]

Mechakara smiled as Dark Heart joined them.

"Hello Dark Heart. Always a pleasure to see you. This is my new pet Patch. Patch this is my creation, my daughter Dark Heart." said Mechakara.

He smiled introducing them to each other. They were like a family in a way. And he protected his family.

Chick shivered as Insano poked her cheek. She couldn't believe part of him had once been Spoony. She was glad Spoony was finally free of him.

"Yes. But it's no secret she has a crush on the Nostalgia Critic. I wonder if she'll feel relieved she's gone. One less person in her way to be with Critic." said Dark Nella.

Smith chuckled as he waited for Ask That Guy to return.

"It won't be long now." said Smith.

Patch remembering the rules, wagged his tail, and panted. DarkHeart chuckled, very interested in Patch already. She picked him up and patted the pup gently. Patch nuzzled her nose againest her face, being very friendly. DarkHeart laughed joyfully then and looked to Mechakara "Now I'm glad of keeping Patch. He's actually a sweet little thing. I think I should've gotten interested in dogs sooner"

Insano turned to see Chick shiver and that made the doctor completely amused. He laughed and then saw Ask thatguy with the tape box and clapped "Excelient. Time for mail!" Ask Thatguy nodded "Alright. Let's put the tape in"

[Mechakara]

Mechakara smiled as Dark Heart fawned over the dog. And Patch was remembering his rules already. He was definitely an obedient dog. He was glad he didn't have to hurt him.

Chick just turned away disgusted resisting the urge to throw up. She just wanted to be back home with her voice and best friend Nella on her side. But she doubted any of that would happen if the villains had their way.

[Patch]

Patch nuzzled DarkHeart more, feeling a pet-like sensation with the robotic girl. DarkHeart laughed a little when suddenly Patch licked her. DarkHeart patted the dog "Easy patch, I do not want my curcuits to fry but I do enjoy your company" She hugged the dog a bit before replying to Mechakara confused "Does he not speak or have you told him not to do so unless spoken to?"

Ask Thatguy took the tape from Insano and put it in the box. He then replied "Be right back" Then the man left again to mail the tape. Insano smiled darkly and looked to chick, enjoying her suffering. This was too good

[Mechakara]

"Yes. I have ordered him only to speak around me." said Mechakara.

He glanced at Patch.

"You can speak freely around her as long as we're alone if you want. But only if it's her or myself." said Mechakara.

Dr. Smith chuckled as he turned to the others.

"I wonder what they've been up to up there with Morpheus." whispered Dr. Smith.

"I'm sure it's absolutely horrible." said Dark Nella, chuckling.

Rita watched amused having conjured more popcorn to watch.

"This is great. I can't wait to see the video Dr. Smith made. I'm sure it'll be wonderful." said Rita chuckling.

"You were a fool Morpheus. A fool to think you could defeat us and a fool to protect weaklings like the dog and that girl. Now they're gone and you're all alone. You're only alive because we want you alive. But that can change and you can be reunited with Patch and Chick again forever." said Malachite.

He chuckled enjoying himself. Morpheus just made it too easy when he was like this.

"Probably dark and cruel!" Insano replied laughing again

Terl meanwhile was finished eating his popcorn. He pouted a bit then realized rita could make more and replied "Rita. If you wouldn't mind I'd like some more" Terl then listened to Malachite and snorted in amusement

Morpheus glared silently to Malachite but his glare was thwarted when BLS felt the need to have some more fun with him, not as severe but still to damage morpheus physically. BLS threw him to the floor and replied "Get up if you think you can handle it!" He kicked morpheus who cried out in pain. BLS laughed "Get up you dumbass! GET UP!" He kicked morpheus again

DarkHeart nodded but was about to offer a suggestion when the suggestion came up for her. She looked down warmly smiling to the dog. Patch nodded and replied "Ok. Nice to meet you darkheart"

DarkHeart smiled and stroked the dog's head "Nice to meet you as well patch. You're a very good dog"

[Mechakara]

Rita conjured up more popcorn for Terl and anyone else as well.

"This is much better than going to the movies." said Rita, laughing.

Malachite smirked and watched as Black Lantern Spoony started beating him again.

"If you're the trainer of Critic's army then we definitely have nothing to fear. They'll fall like dominoes." said Malachite.

He chuckled and continued to mock Morpheus.

Rita heard Malachite's taunt and nodded.

"Yes. I've gone up against children who were more talented than you. Such a shame. I'd have thought you'd have some fight left in you. Or have you finally realized we're superior and you don't have a chance of escaping and your army is as good as dead or enslaved." said Rita.

Mechakara was really glad the two were getting along. He turned to Dark Heart remembering her earlier words.

"I'm been thinking of getting more pets. Make my own collection. But there hasn't been anything that useful yet. The animals on Critic's side most of them are useless. Although there is a lioness on their side but she'd be harder to control." said Mechakara.

Patch looked to Mechakara then to DarkHeart who simply kept holding the puppy close to her. She smiled widely, like a child on christmas day. She responded "Sounds good. Animals shouldn't be with those that don't deserve them. Especially dogs" She petted Patch's head when she said that

Morpheus ignored the mocking. He would not give them anymore satisfaction. Eventually he pulled himself up and then suddenly as if a loud bullhorn was turned on, Morpheus slapped BLS and succeeded in doing so

BLS hissed as his cheek was successfully hit. He rubbed it and laughed "Wow. You really are a fool" He grabbed morpheus to him and growled "I think we need to teach you lesson two" Then he piled on morpheus to the ground

Terl jumped a bit as morpheus slapped BLS but laughed as BLS simply retaliated with pulling the man back and pinning him to the ground

[Mechakara]

"Yes. He's finally where he truly belongs. Those humans would have only hurt him or killed him eventually anyway. Or sent your off the pound. That's what people do when they have too many animals to take care of. I'd never do that to you." said Mechakara.

"So the mouse has some fight left in him? Well that too will die. Just like your friends." said Malachite, shocked he had fought back.

Rita smirked at Morpheus.

"You're a fool. But it's your funeral. One day Dark Nella's going to decide to finish you off and you're looking at your executioner when she does." said Rita.

[DarkHeart]

DarkHeart looked down to Patch's face who was indeed smiling, the dog clearly felt loved already. Probably because DarkHeart gave a very kind and warm first impression. Patch wagged his tail and looked kindly to Mechakara then. DarkHeart frowned slightly "Yes. Humans treat innocent lives as if they're nothing more than objects. I've seen it. You're very lucky that Mechakara found you patch. He's a fantastic owner" She beamed a bit at Mechakara before nuzzling the dog

"If I die. I shall die alongside my friends, who are in a far better place then here" Morpheus choked out. BLS feeling bored and tired, let go of Morpheus and allowed the black man to breathe and lay down where he was. Morpheus sat up and replied "You're right. I am a fool. I'm foolish that I even allowed you to bring me here. Once and if I get out, I will not make the same mistake"

[Mechakara]

Mechakara smiled as he bent down and petted Patch as well.

"Yes I am. Those humans won't hurt you or anyone again if I have anything to say about it." said Mechakara.

Rita immediately laughed.

"You think you have a chance of getting out of here? Your last rescue attempt we gained another captive. Next time we could just not take any prisoners." said Rita.

"That is a funny idea. Stupid too. The only way you're leaving is in a body bag." said Malachite.

[DarkHeart]

DarkHeart suddenly had a rush of feelings as Patch gratefully accepted Mechakara's gloved hand and his tail thumped at the petting. She felt a protective streak go through her. This was probably because of the dog quickly being so innocent. She could tell as long as he was being good he'd be happy, so the more he obeyed the more he was petted. She then shivered as the wind blew a bit. Even though she was a robot, she still felt the cold.

Morpheus glared. The glare just spoke retorts that words could not offer. BLS replied sarcastically "Oh you done now? What's wrong? We made the poor wittle black man sad? What're you gonna do to us. You're in pain, your friends are dead, you probably have noone else coming for you. Why bother?"

"He's a stubborn human. What'd you expect from humans other than stubborness. No offense to the humans on our side. They're the smart type of stubborn" Terl responded

[Mechakara]

"Well I suppose we should go inside now. It's getting colder and while it doesn't bother us. I wouldn't want to make you sick Patch." said Mechakara.

"I can't believe I liked your films. The actor who played you in this world is more interesting than you." said Malachite.

DarkHeart nodded and looked to the dog who nodded also. With that the robot, with puppy in her arms, walked back to the house alongside mechakara. Patch replied looking up to DarkHeart "Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course little one. Ask" DarkHeart kindly responded

"Do you have red eyes like Mechakara does?" Patch asked, sincerely curious

DarkHeart let out a laugh before showing the dog her glowing red eyes. Patch nodded as if he was very aware he asked a obvious question. DarkHeart patted the dog "You are a very different dog. I now am certain you belong here"

Morpheus looked to malachite and smirked "At least I didn't get banished at a coffee shop" He said that due to Critic explaining who malachite is during a conversation, it seemed long ago now but morpheus remembered when trying to combat with malachite. BLS turned to Malachite and replied, not in teasing but in curiousity "Really? You got banished to a coffee shop? Didn't know that"

Terl shrugged "Well now we know. And knowing is half the battle"
