In The End, You Will Always Kneel

[Patch]

(OCC: Named after the classic Loki line from the avengers XD. Anyways, this is two days after "They Can't Save You". For Patch and Mechakara only. Around the evening)

Patch wanted to leave. He wasn't comfortable in the darkness anymore. He really was getting more and more willing to just go out and do whatever Mechakara wanted. He was used to this feeling a bit now, since the fact he's never seen friendly faces and was forever remembered the facts of he'll never go home to the critic nor see his friends. Mechakara was his only friend now. He was the reason Patch still breathed. Patch was grateful for that. Maybe... Maybe Mechakara was a good person.

*Knock knock*

Patch rose up from his bed as the door opened, still wearing the chain from behind him. He wagged his tail and smiled. Perfect. He was going to be let out. He had to play obedient to get out and he learned that very quickly. He wanted to bark in joy but mechakara was a person who hated that so he panted excitedly instead

[Mechakara]

Mechakara was ready to take Patch out for a walk. He knocked on the door opening it to see Patch eager to be out. He removed Patch's old collar and tag and replaced it with a new black collar and silver tag. The tag had Patch's name and his new address. He then placed the leash on Patch's new collar tossing Patch's old collar onto his desk. He'd destroy it later. No need for Patch to have another reminder of his old life after all. Patch was his pet now.

"Come. We're going outside." said Mechakara.

Mechakara led Patch out the door and soon they were outside. He walked around with him in the backyard.

[Patch]

Patch was a bit too attached to his old collar to see Mechakara take it so suddenly, he nearly was about to say something when suddenly a new black collar with a new silver tag on it was on his collar and he immediately shut up. He loved the old collar mostly because it reminded him of the past and the fact without a collar made the puppy feel naked but mechakara was firmly and yet so gently reminding him to stop living the past and grow a pair. He stood up instantly looking to mechakara's face excitedly when he told him they were going out. Thank god, the closet was getting musty.

When they were out, Patch looked up to his new master in gratitude. He wanted to bark in gratitude but again, mechakara would allow him to bark and that was a rare treat. So he settled with wagging his tail and keeping a cheerful pace. However it didn't stop him from missing maleficent. She probably would've allowed him to bark but then again she was a so-called villain herself. Patch remembered he was entitled to speak when he was alone with Mechakara so he replied to Mechakara hoping he'd be ok with a simple conversation starter.

"I'm glad to be outside. It's nice out today" Patch making sure he didn't offend him then said "I'm glad you gave me the chance again for it sir"

[Mechakara]

"I suppose it is." said Mechakara, not really caring about the weather.

He nodded as Patch thanked him for letting him come outside.

"You're welcome. You're my pet not my prisoner. Of course I'm going to take care of you. Make sure you get enough food, and exercise. Don't want you dying on me from lack of food or a weak body. I'm strong and I want you to be as well." said Mechakara.

He smiled as he bent down and petted the dog again. To his surprise Mechakara found he was enjoying the companionship of Patch. Sure Patch feared him right now but in time they could be friends. He stopped wondering where that thought came from. The only friends he had and trusted were Judas Liz and Black Lantern Spoony. Surely this dog didn't mean anything to him. He stood up as they kept walking. Maybe he was malfuctioning. He'd check himself out later not completely trusting Insano for the moment.

[Patch]

Patch felt a slight positive sort of satisfaction when Mechakara told him he wanted to take care of him and not treat him like a prisoner. His tail thumped calmly on the ground as Mechakara's hand petted him. He really liked the leather feeling of the glove on his head. Like Mechakara, Patch through time was enjoying him around and felt maybe he should stop fearing him and treat this as everyday life since he was being properly taking care of. Sure, Mechakara was evil but he did seem to really have some good within his metal base. Without a second thought, Patch put his head on Mechakara's leg nuzzling, feeling comfortable to do so

"You know sir, I have to say, I hope you do not take offense but I think you're not that bad of a person. You've been really good to me" Patch looked up and spoke a bit more "Did you have a pet before or am I your first?"

[Mechakara]

Mechakara turned as Patch nuzzled his leg. He found himself smiling at the dog. His theory he was malfunctioning looked very possible. He listened to Patch and shook his head.

"Well, you're wrong about that. I'm not a person at all. I'm a machine. I only look human. And I'm certainly very evil. But you don't have to worry about that as long as you follow my rules." said Mechakara.

He paused as Patch spoke again. He hadn't had another pet. He had created Dark Heart but she was like a daughter to him not a pet. Patch was indeed his first pet. He petted Patch again before he spoke.

"You are my first pet. I treated you certainly better than I was treated by my last master. By Linkara." said Mechakara.

He paused trailing off as he clenched his other fist in anger. Memories of his past life as Pollo were awful to him. He'd forget them if he could but he had to kill this Linkara. He turned back to Patch scratching behind his ears before petting him and resuming to talk.

"My former master treated me as a slave. I was basically a prop for his stupid show. I got fed up with the way he treated me and killed him. Then fused my body with his and created a new form. Of course, that was before I was beaten many times. I'm in my fifth body now. And I don't intend to die again." said Mechakara.

(ooc: Wow. Longer than I thought. And made up most of Mechakara's backstory as we don't really know what happened. Just vague details that his Linkara treated him badly in his universe.)

[Patch]

(OCC: Really sweet indeed. Loved the post. I guess indeed while this Linkara is nice and good the other one was just abusivde. Now I'm considering to make DarkHeart come here! In fact I will)

Patch nodded "I meant you're not so bad as people think you are. I made a bad choice of words. I understand what you mean though" Patch then listened carefully and honestly was shocked at how angry Mechakara was not because of him wanting to take over but because he felt hated and abused. In a way mechakara was just as hurt as anyone else. He was definitely different from the others. While most of them just wanted distruction and revenge, mechakara did this mostly because he felt that the others just were abusive and wrong.

Patch hummed a whine in pity before nuzzling to Mechakara again "Wow. I never realized that your master was abusive to you. I'm sorry. I may never understand but I wish to let you know I don't think anybody deserves that kind of treatment"

[Mechakara]

"I was good once. But I gave that up after someone supposedly good treated me so terribly. If that's being good you can have it. Besides I enjoy being evil." said Mechakara.

He paused as he nodded. He hated thinking back of his former life as Pollo. Things had gone very differently in his universe than here. There was no Mechakara from him to protect his Linkara from. In his universe Linkara had gained Comicron-1 from a villain called Lord Malis. Malis had shown him the truth that Linkara never really cared about him. He just used him to help run his show. Even when Malis had kidnapped Linkara he had let everyone else but him temporarily run his show. He was just a prop, a servant to that Linkara and he hated him for it. Malis had supplied him with technology before Linkara had defeated him and he used to defeat his former master. He had no regrets about what he did. And if he hadn't then he never would have met Black Lantern Spoony and Judas Liz, or created Dark Heart or have Patch as a pet. The pain he experienced was worth it as it made him the robot he was today. Being Insano's slave had brought up bad memories but at least Insano respected him as an ally at least so he was a lot better than his Linkara in his opinion.

"Humans deserve that and more. Robots shouldn't be subservient to anyone. It should be the other way around." said Mechakara.

[Patch]

Patch felt bad. He had no idea Mechakara had it rough. All that fighting now made him realize that mechakara had issues of personal levels. He wasn't evil, he was misunderstood. Patch saw it now, it was sad and even thought profoking for the pup. He then spoke "If you enjoy it that's perfectly fine with me. Your version of linkara isn't the same as mine but I doubt you'll believe that so I'll allow you to have your insight"

Patch sighed then replied "What about me though? I'm good. Good is not what your linkara did, it's different from that. I could show you if you would allow me"

[Mechakara]

"Linkara's just the same. I've watched him. He's threatened people with his spaceship or his toys. Even those who've just mildly annoyed him like Cloak # 1, Spoony, and Douchey Mcnitpick. And you know what. Linkara, Critic, and the others even took over a small country once and planned to conquer this country as well. They only stopped after Critic went mad with power. Once they defeated him Nostalgia Chick, Snob, and Linkara all fought each other for a chance at being the new president. If Santa Christ hadn't showed up and stopped them the war would have started two years ago. And you'd probably have been on this side." said Mechakara.

He paused shaking his head as Patch tried to say he was good.

"You're a dog. Animals are different than humans. Wild animals have an instinct to kill. While you're a pet. You're treated as nothing more than a slave, a source of amusement to the humans. You didn't think any of them actually cared about you here or at home. After all you have 97 siblings back home. They probably don't even know you and Cadpig are gone yet. And here well you're just a dog. But you're my dog. And no harm will come to you. I'll see to that especially if you follow my rules." said Mechakara.

[Patch]

Patch was taken aback by Mechakara's words. Mostly because they had a sense of logic to them. He had a point, he was lonely when back home, also he was very young and often disregarded by the heroes. He even had his sister go into hiding, she was absent from everything. He also remembered IHeart when she arrived telling stories of the past, many of them often having her and her friends doing pointless or stupid things. As much as Patch disagreed with it, the dog saw the robot's side to the story.

However he spoke back "Well sure. Linkara's made mistakes, I've made mistakes and everybody makes mistakes. I have---" He remembered the rules Mechakara gave him and repeated "I HAD a big family and it was the past but it was good" He ended the mentioning of home right then and there and continued "Yes. I was a pet. I'm still a pet. To you. I even like being your pet. You're a nice owner. I want to obey you because you are a good owner"

[Mechakara]

Mechakara turned glaring at the dog.

"MISTAKES! He may not be as bad as my Linkara but he's close enough for me. And I intend to wipe him out. He's not worth enslaving. He'd just escape and start another rebellion. I'm going to take care of him once and for all." said Mechakara.

[Patch]

Patch knew he hit a nerve now. He closed his eyes. No more, he had to stop, mechakara had his mind too bittered by the abuse at his world linkara's hand. The shouting of mechakara scared him. He whimpered, giving mechakara the message he was deeply sorry. Mechakara really did have a good way to make patch know where his position is. Worst part? Patch never meant to make mechakara angry

(OCC: For some reason, I litterally said "Holy shit" when I read that post. That definitely is what mechakara gets to when hit a nerve)

[Mechakara]

Mechakara nodded as he simmered down. The dog wasn't at fault. He couldn't blame him for being curious.

"It's alright. I'm not mad at you. It's Linkara I despise. Don't mention him again as well as the others. He's part of my past and soon he'll have no future." said Mechakara.

He still planned on taking out Harvey, Linksano, 90's Kid, and Iheart or at least hurting them would make Linkara come after him. He wanted to make Linkara suffer before he finished him off.

[Patch]

Patch nodded. He did have the silent pity for linkara having to deal with that type of situation. Patch felt both people misunderstood the other. However he decided to end it. Then another curious question was on the rise. One that seemed more pleasant to respond to. He calmed down and smiled "Ummm. Sir, I was just thinking. There's this girl who you talk to that looks like IHeart. Who's she?"
