A Nightmare and Promise

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti looked up as Iheart came down. He just felt awful and hugged her. He was still rattled by that dream on top of everything else that he'd figured out.

"At least I didn't lose you too. I would never want to go through what Spoony and Critic are going through." said Ma-Ti.

"I want to be part of the search party. I haven't done much yet since I got here and I want to help." said Elisa.

"Besides the Blade Blasters I've given out I've been working on this." said Linksano.

He pressed a button as a suit of metallic armor appears followed by a big laser gun.

"I've been busy making this. It's the first of the line. It'll take me time to make anymore. But it should be able to protect you against the likes of Mechakara, Malachite, and the rest of them. It's not perfect though. It run out of energy or eventually be overpowered. Especially if you end up fighting a lot of sorcerors or something." said Linksano.

Chester nodded also agreeing to trust Critic. When Linksano summoned the armor and rifle he smiled.

"That's incredible. Are you sure this is the only one?" said Chester.

He touched the laser firing it sending a blast of energy into a window shattering it into pieces and into a car setting off its alarm.

Linksano grabbed the gun from Chester.

"This is too high tech for you. You don't get one." said Linksano.

"Oh come on. It was just an accident." said Chester.

XXXX

"No. Now why don't you go and do something else." said Linksano.

Chester nodded running downstairs. Perhaps he could help cheer up Spoony and Ma-Ti. It wouldn't hurt right.

Stone sighed as Chester was out of earshot.

"We better clean that window up. And hope the neighbors didn't see a laser come out of our window and hit their car." said Stone.

Elisa smiled as an idea came to her.

"I've got it. Why don't we throw a party for Spoony, Ma-Ti, and Iheart? You know to cheer them up." said Elisa.

"That sounds like a good idea. We haven't had one since we got here. It'd take our minds off the war for a bit and cheer them up." said Marzgurl.

Stone nodded.

"Well Iheart's still recovering. So we could have a party at the house. But maybe it's better we have two parties. Some of us could take Spoony and Ma-Ti out while the rest have a party here with Iheart." said Stone.

"How about tonight? We don't have any plans. And it doesn't need to be anything too fancy. Just a place they can all have fun. Even for just one night. But we need to keep it a secret. If we tell them about it they'll say they don't want a party. But if we surprise them then they'll want it for sure." said Elisa.

[IHeart]

IHeart hugged Ma-Ti as tightly as she could. She replied giving out a sad laugh "I'll never leave. I promise. I love you too much" She just sighed hoping Ma-Ti would still be assured of that. She cared about him and understood that he was in guilt and problems

Snob raised his hands "The split up team will be lead by me. Elisa of course will follow me, Jasmine could too since she's pretty good at finding things, Roses will be there too, 90's kid still needs someone to back him up so he'll help and Nani, she really wants morpheus back so yeah" Snob then turned to Critic who nodded at that

"Sounds good there snob. You are in charge of getting the prisoners out. I have a weird feeling Ask Thatguy's gonna find ways and lies to stop us so don't be fooled by anything they say or show you" Critic then perked up at the idea of parties "Sure! Sounds great!" He then nodded to Stone "Yeah, OK! I got it. Elisa you and all the girls will stay here to cheer IHeart up while I take all the guys to cheer Ma-Ti and Spoony up" He then pondered about tonight and said "Alright I'll make a reservation for the guys at the arcade at the mall. Which also has a bar but it allows the underages to play games so yeah"

He then looked to the armor and gun replying "Yeah gonna take a lot out of my check but it'll be fine. Anyways nice work linksano, so I take it I'm gonna use this?"

90's kid put his hands up in rock and roll devil horns "Dude! Let's grab the whole gang now! I'm totally stoked for a party!" Then he saw the gun and armor replying "That's a awesome arsinal!"

[Ma-Ti]

"I love you too. I'm so glad to say that out loud now." said Ma-Ti hugging her back.

Ma-Ti pulled back looking sad.

"We haven't won at all in this war so far. Chick, Morpheus, and Patch are prisoners. Goggles and Nella are brainwashed. They're picking us off one by one. What if they take someone? What if they take you?" said Ma-Ti worried.

"Thanks for letting me come along. I can tell Nani and Roses later while we get ready for the party." said Elisa.

"Critic do you need any help reserving the bar? We better get started on this party. But we've got to keep them distracted. Spoony, Ma-Ti, and Iheart are bound to find out what's going on eventually. " said Stone.

"We better have someone nearby them. I'm sure Ma-Ti and Iheart will probably be together for awhile. But if we want this to stay a surprise someone's got to keep an eye on them and Spoony." said Marzgurl.

Linksano nodded.

"Yep. I made it for you. I'll make some of these lasers soon while I work on other armor for everyone else." said Linksano.

[IHeart]

IHeart put her hands in his face to make him look at her. She wanted to get her point across. She would allow him to not dwell on the villains. IHeart replied assuringly "They've taken our friends but we can always get them back. If you allow them to disencourage us, they'll win. It'll be ok. They'll come back we just need a plan" She stared at him hoping he'd understand

"No worries, Stone, I'll take care of the party for the guys. You and everybody else just keep the other three distracted. I'll take care of things this time" Critic assured Stone calmly, trying to allow himself some responsiblity to take care of. Turning to Linksano he grinned pleased "Awesome. I'll take it. It seems to be working nicely"

Snob nodded "Yeah, Spoony and Ma-Ti will be hard to distract but they'll get distracted nonetheless. Let's just keep it simple"

"You got it dude" 90's kid replied

Spoony sighed and hugged roses again with one arm. He smiled sadly but was smiling nonetheless "Thanks. I needed to let it out. You're a good friend"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti nodded reluctantly. He knew she was trying to help but he still felt awful about what happened. If he'd only stayed in the house that night none of this would have happened. He needed something to think about to distract himself from this. Even for a little while.

"You just get better. Then maybe we can go on a date. No. We will. Once you get better we'll go out somewhere to celebrate. Just the two of us." said Ma-Ti.

Marzgurl saw the conversation was over and turned to Snob.

"Is Iheart any better?" asked Marzgurl.

Roses smiled glad he was alright under the circumstances.

"I'm glad to help. You've always help me when I was down. I owed you like a million anyways." joked Roses trying to lighten the mood.

She smiled turning back to Spoony.

"Well you want to go check on Iheart and Ma-Ti? They looked pretty bad. Poor Ma-Ti is probably blaming himself for what happened." said Roses.

[Nostalgia Critic]

(OCC: Would be cute if ma-ti and IHear kissing then have spoony and roses tease them a bit afterwards but hey it's up to you)

IHeart leaned againest ma-ti and smiled "I'd love that. Once these wounds heal I'll spend all my time with the best man I could ask for" She just looked at him in his eyes smiling fondly at him

Critic looked to snob and nodded "Yeah any news on her? And ma-ti? They ok?" Critic was just as concerned about her as everybody. He waited for the answer from his second in command

Snob nodded and replied "She went to see ma-ti. I think they're settling the problem together now" He said this with a slightly cheerful tone

"Actually a billion but still" Spoony retorted with his age old smirk. He then looked to the house and shrugged "Sure. Let's go see if they're ok" He then went up to go see them

[Ma-Ti]

(ooc: Roses & Spoony should walk in just as they kiss so they can go accidentally ruin the moment. xd)

"And things can go back to normal crazy." said Ma-Ti, chuckling.

Ma-Ti smiled leaning against her.

Roses smiled glad he was in a better mode.

"Alright so I owe you a lot." said Roses.

She chuckled following Spoony into the house.

Ma-Ti smiled as Iheart looked at him. He leaned closer and kissed her lost in the moment.

Roses caught up with Spoony as she opened the door. She walked down and stopped seeing Iheart and Ma-Ti kissing.

"Aww. So romantic." said Roses.

Ma-Ti pulled away looking up at Roses and Spoony and blushed. He hadn't expected anyone to show up so soon. He just stared at the floor not sure what to say.

"That's good. Hopefully Elisa and Critic's parties will cheer them and Spoony up. We're overdue for a party anyway. We all need some cheering up I think." said Marzgurl.

Stone nodded in agreement.

"Yes. Just one night where we don't have to think about anything but having fun." said Stone.

[Cinema Snob]

IHeart was excited at first and closed her eyes allowing Ma-Ti to kiss her. She was completely enraptured with the kiss as he pressed his lips againest hers. That was until Roses spoke and she blushed pinkishly. While Ma-Ti looked to the floor, IHeart just stared wide-eyed

Spoony smiled then blushed himself "Oh shit. We caught you. Hey at least we know so it saves you the trouble of not telling us right?" He then saw Ma-Ti and smiled pointing to IHeart "Good choice dude"

Snob nodded in agreement "I hope so. Hopefully things will turn out as smoothly as possible" Critic nodded smiling "Yeah. Probably be good for all of us to have some fun" He then patted snob replying "Glad you helped IHeart out" Snob just shrugged

[Ma-Ti]

All Ma-Ti could do was nod. His embarrassment had started to fade though and he smiled.

"I'm lucky I found her. But something's been troubling me for awhile now. I didn't want to say it but since enough bad stuff has happened what's one more?" said Ma-Ti.

Roses smile quickly turned to a frown wondering what he was talking about.

"Did something else happen last night?" asked Roses.

Ma-Ti shook his head.

"Not last night. The morning I first showed up. I woke up in that field alone and alive. I worry who saved me. Because none of you even knew I was alive until I showed up." said Ma-Ti.

Roses nodded. It wasn't as bad as she'd been expecting but she could understand his concerns.

"Maybe we should talk with Linkara, Maleficent, and Grimhilde about this. They're our magic experts. Maybe they can at least figure how you got brought back and maybe who did it." said Roses.

[Cinema Snob]

IHeart then frowned nervously for Ma-Ti. If they didn't save him, who did? Not that it mattered who to her but whoever did probably could've done something to him. She took his hand and replied "Roses is right. Linkara knows tons about these things. So does Grimhilde and maleficent. They'll probably help you"

Spoony assured Ma-Ti with a pat and replied "Whoever saved you gave you back and that's what we want. You being back means a lot regardless"

Snob then looked to Critic and the rest replying "Say. Guess things have been settled right?" He chuckled at that. Critic nodded shrugging "Yeah I guess so"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti nodded.

"I'm glad I'm alive and here. I just worry you know. I mean you'd need something like the Necromicron to revive me." said Ma-Ti.

Chester walked into the medbay seeing Spoony, Roses, Ma-Ti, and Iheart.

"Critic sent me to find that but I couldn't find it. Something that would probably be in a museum or something. If it was real." said Chester.

Ma-Ti looked up as Chester joined them. He was now more confused than enver.

"So if it wasn't the Necromicon then who brought me back?" said Ma-Ti.

He wonder if one of the villains had revived him. They had a few sorcerors on their side after all. But would they have brought him back and left him there? They'd already captured Chick and Morpheus. It would have made more sense to make him another prisoner instead of just letting him go. He decided not to worry about it for now. Hopefully Maleficent, Linkara, and Grimhilde could help him.

Stone turned to the others.

"Well we better get started. We've got two parties to plan and three guests of honor who can't know about it." said Stone.

"Yeah. Maybe some of us should hang out with them. Keep them busy. So it'll be a surprise." said Marzgurl.

[Spoony]

Snob nodded "We'll find a way to distract them. Me and Critic will help distract ma-ti, Roses will help distract IHeart and Linkara and Stone will help distract Spoony. It'll be a sinch" Snob then turned to Critic who then spoke "Stone think you can find some stealthy things to hide our party surprise?"

IHeart shrugged sadly "It doesn't exist. We may never know what brought you back but you're here anyway so if you want we'll try to find what brought you back"

Spoony nodded "Yeah man you being back means a lot to us whether or not where you've came from"

[Ma-Ti]

"Maybe hide them in a box or a closet until we're done." suggested Stone.

"We'll hide them in my closet after I go shopping. Any volunteers to come with me?" asked Elisa.

"Uh I have to check on Ma-Ti. Then I have some training to do." said Marzgurl, running off downstairs.

Elisa smiled as she turned to Snob and Stone.

"They don't need two people to distract them. Why don't you two come with me? I'm going to need some help getting all the supplies inside. Unless you want them to find out and call off the party." said Elisa.

She smiled glancing at them sweetly.

Stone glanced at her nervously. She played dirty with the sweetness routine and making you feel like you were letting them down if the party didn't go right. He sighed reluctantly agreeing to it.

"Alright. I'll go. You play dirty you know." said Stone.

"I don't know what you're talking about." said Elisa.

Elisa smiled and turned to Snob.

"Well what about you?" said Elisa.

Marzgurl walked down to the medbay joining the group.

"Everything alright in here?" asked Marzgurl.

Roses turned glancing at her.

"Yep. Although Ma-Ti's still worried about how he's alive. But we're hoping Linkara, Maleficent, and Grimhilde can find the answer." said Roses.

Ma-Ti turned as Marzgurl showed up. He nodded. He listened to them. He was grateful he was alive. He just hoped he wasn't resurrected by a dark sorcerer or owed anybody any favors.

[IHeart]

Snob breathed a bit and replied shrugging "Eh. I'm game. Let's get to the nearest party store though. It'll be easier for us to get home that way" Snob then went over to Stone and Elisa in agreement.

Critic smiled then replied "I'm going to find chester and follow marzgurl to check on the others" He then quickly left, not wanting to shop.

"Hey marzgurl. We're fine. Just what Roses said" IHeart replied. Feeling a bit bad, IHeart gave Ma-Ti a one-armed hug in trying to encourage him. Spoony made a wry/all-knowing face to her to which she gave him a look that said "Oh shut up" then turning to Marzgurl

Spoony just wanted to tease them a bit but then again he remembered Goggles. Also, how annoyed he was when IHeart was fooling around with him so he decided to be the better man and not say a word.
