That seems enough time for me to study it as well as put it in you to keep it safe" Insano checked his laptop and caught the gem's analysis on the laptop screen and proceeded to take notes. He turned to Mechakara replying "If it were in someone else's hands it'd take longer but not to worry"

BLS nodded "Yeah. I hear ya. We got other things to worry about. Should take me and facilier at least a couple of days" Facilier nodded at the notion to get help, that way he and rita could talk more

In just a week he'd have the gem and finally be able to get his revenge against Linkara and the rest of those fools. Until then he would complete working on his secret project of Seven of Eleven. Soon his second creation would be brought to life.

"We need a cover story while it's being repaired. I guess we could one of Dr. Smith or Dr. Insano's inventions backfired in here." said Dark Nella.

DarkHeart was a bit excited. Soon Mechakara could have usage of a magical item and it wouldn't hurt him. Sure it'd take a while but at least it would be done.

Facilier turned to the ring in question and realized, if Ma-Ti DID get it back he would without a doubt use it. He didn't want to tell the others though about it so he just decided to put a spell on it when no-one was around.

"I'm just glad no one got seriously hurt. Especially Goggles. She's a powerful ally and I know you care for her. Once that ring's gone no one can use it against us. One less thing to worry about." said Mechakara.

DarkHeart sneered at the said ring herself. She didn't like it. If it something was a problem, she often put a instant dislike to it. She wanted to blast the thing to settle all the problems the team had with it but she couldn't it was far too messy and risky

BLS smiled, appreciative of the concern his allies shared "I appreciate your concern. I'm sure Goggles does too. We won't have to worry about the ring anymore once Insano gets rid of it"

Dr. Smith walked on joining the group glancing at the wall confused.

"What happened in here?" asked Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith was about to object but the way she spoke you knew there was no arguing with her. He nodded reluctantly.

"Fine. One of my inventions blew up. What were you doing with the ring anyway?" asked Dr. Smith.

"Trying to see if Goggles could use it as her power is similar to it. The test failed and knocked Goggles out. It nearly wiped us out in the process. Thankfully Dark Nella and I were able to get everyone to safety." said Mechakara.

[Dr. Insano]

"Yeah, the ring's fucked up Smith, we'll have to destroy it. This is far too dangerous for anyone especially for us to use" Dr. Insano responded, finally turning up from his laptop to face someone in the eyes.

DarkHeart, BLS and Facilier all turned to each other listening to what the others had to say. Facilier then spoke "Yeah, we're also preventing it from the heroes hands. We don't want them to have any advantage"

Dr. Smith nodded as he looked out the ring.

"We've talked about cloning before. Perhaps now's the time to finish up that machine. I should have it ready and we'll have a ring we can use and the original can be destroyed." said Dr. Smith.

"Perfect. Make sure you clone the ring as soon as possible. And then destroy the original. We don't need that ring falling into the hands of Critic and the others." said Dark Nella.

"Excellent. We'll have the gem and a evil copy of Ma-Ti's ring. Those fools won't stand a chance against us." said Mechakara.

"Yes. We should get started on the cloning machine" Insano responded to Smith. He agreed with that statement. He needed to get a lot of things done.

"A shame we can't clone one of the lantern rings to get more Star Sapphires and Black Lanterns. But having a clone of this ring will work just as well. Maybe even better." said Dr. Smith.

He opened a box containing his machine setting it on the counter as he got to work. He pulled out his blueprints of the device they'd been working on. It had been dropped as they worked on more important devices at the time. But now they needed to finish this one.

"This thing was nearly complete before I stopped on it. It should only take a few days to finish it. What do you think Insano?" asked Dr. Smith.

"Critic and the others won't wait forever to rescue Chick, Patch, and Morpheus. We must be prepared to fight them in our own home if necessary. That ring must be cloned and destroyed as quickly as possibly." Said Dark Nella.

"Then all we need to do is entertain them when the come knocking. But I suppose we'll be the only ones having fun so we'll really be entertaining ourselves." said Mechakara, chuckling.

"I say we get to work on this ASAP. We'll need to in order to use the device properly. As well as get rid of the original" Insano replied to smith. He wanted to get the device done as soon as they could

DarkHeart nodded in agreement to Dark Nella. They did need to get rid of the original ring as soon as they could. It was far too dangerous. BLS and Facilier looked to each other smirking before BLS spoke to mechakara "Yeah, the prisoners should be fun to keep imprisoned though. They'll try to be resistant"

Dr. Smith nodded as he began working on it again.

"I can't wait to see their reaction when we use the cloned ring against them." said Dr. Smith, chuckling.

"With this ring even Maleficent won't be strong enough to stop us. I'm guessing it can hurt them as much as Ma-Ti's ring hurt us." said Dark Nella.

Mechakara watched as the two scientists worked. In just a few days the ring would be complete and those fools wouldn't be able to stop them.

"They'll be really surprised. Can't wait to see it in action" Insano responded, working on the machine plans as well as some tools to use it. BLS, Facilier and DarkHeart only observed, excited about the cloned ring, they would surprise the heroes with it
