Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Maleficent came downstairs and for a few moments was certain that she was having some kind of bizarre dream.

The living and dining rooms were decorated with balloons and garlands, and refreshments were being placed on the tables. It reminded her of the throne room on the day of Aurora’s christening (though on a much smaller scale, of course).

A part was being held. One that she had had no knowledge of. It was like Aurora’s christening.

Though at this point it had been made clear (in Maleficent’s mind, at least) that she wasn’t wanted, that had never stopped the dark fairy before, and she walked over to Jasmine and a young brunette she hadn’t seen before.

“What’s going on?”

A disdainful edge hung in Maleficent’s otherwise sickeningly sweet voice.

[Queen Grimhilde]

Jasmine smiled at Belle.

"I'm sure we all will. Once we win this war." said Jasmine.

She looked up as Maleficent joined them.

"We're throwing a party to cheer up Iheart. Critic's taken the guys out to cheer up Spoony and Ma-Ti. You're welcome to join us. We're nearly done and the party's about to start." said Jasmine.

Elisa took the pizzas from Ace setting them on the counter with the rest of the food. She smiled heading out to help Ace and Lottie decorate the back porch.

"Looks like we're almost done. I can't wait to see her face when we shout surprise." said Elisa.

Marzgurl turned hearing Kiara. She walked out of the room and returned with her laptop.

"Here Kiara. I'll show you. We shoot rockets into the sky. They explode and give us this." said Marzgurl.

She opens her laptop up and finds youtube and looks up fireworks showing a video of them going off in the sky.

Nani smiled as Lilo left to go set the table. With the food done she began helping decorate the rest of the living room.

Grimhilde followed her out noticing Maleficent had come to the party. She'd been to a few parties herself thrown by her late husband. But then he got sick and died. She'd thrown a few parties but they got less frequent after that. She pulled herself out of her thoughts as she began helping Nani finish decorating the living room area.

Roses blushed as she mentioned Paw.

"I do like him. And we have flirted a bit. I guess I didn't try before not wanting to wreck our friendship. But now... We don't have the time we used to think it out anymore. Maybe I should talk to him about it." said Roses.

She heard Iheart noticed the noise and tried to brush it off.

"Oh they're just making dinner. You know the usual." said Roses.

"Right," Belle said.

She was slightly taken aback at Maleficent's apparence. The fairy didn't look like the surprize-party type. Maybe it was wrong for Belle to judge. Then again, she didn't seem particuarly thrilled.

"I might be good to raise everyone's spirits," Belle added.

"Ooooh! Me neither! Goodness. I just want to start now I'm so excited. Can't wait for her reaction" Lottie replied as she finished with the backyard alongside Elisa. She then responded with "The backyards done, we have the food and the decorations are pretty much up... I just wanna do it right now I'm so excited!" She jumped a bit like a child opening christmas presents

Lilo got all the plates, forks, knifes and napkins finally finishing the table. She then went back to a birthday party she went to but failed to have fun because of a alien ruining the party. She hoped this one would turn out well

Kiara climbed up and watched the computer. She widened her eyes as she saw clips of people blowing things into the sky, which were the fireworks Marzgurl was speaking about. She turned to Marzgurl and gulped "I can see why now. They're really strange and scary"

IHeart was taken aback by Roses simply answer to the commotion outside. She smiled a bit though "Oh ok. They sound really determined to finish it. Then again it's been a long day" She then sighed replying curiously "Where's Ma-Ti and Spoony and the guys anyway? Did they go off without telling us?"

It was just as Maleficent had suspected, in more ways than one. Scowling, she moved to go back to the stairs, but Jasmine’s next words stopped her dead in her tracks.

“You’re welcome to join us.”

For a moment, the dark fairy was speechless. More than sixteen years had gone by since she had last been invited to a party, and now here was her invitation, in the middle of a war of all things.

“This seems to be an odd time to have it,” she voiced her thoughts, trying to maintain her composure. “However, as I have nothing else to do tonight, I suppose I can stay with you.”

She suddenly noticed Belle’s staring and turned her attention to the young woman. The gold-eyed fairy was certain she'd never seen the brunette before, yet something about her felt very familiar.

“I don’t believe we’ve met. I am Maleficent.”

Rachel giggled as Lottie jumped around and said:"Also I'm excited for it Lottie y'know so I also jump but I 'll to wait."Rachel said and then she walked on the back porch , sighing , she will be on the party soon but then without knowing she thought about 90 's Kid , he was cute but she didn't know him yet and she blushed , she really liked him she hoped he will like her. Rach thought.

"I know I know. Waiting is not my strong point though" Lottie replied. She then looked around the back yard then to Elisa saying excitedly "Are we done? Are we ready? Please tell me! I'm nervous with anticipation!"

"Hey roses. Are the guys coming to dinner cause I haven't seen them" IHeart replied paraphrasing her last question. IHeart then stood up and replied happily "I'll go help them out. I need to do something other than sit here all day. It's getting boring" She then went upstairs

Kiara then gulped to Marzgurl as one last clip was shown to her. She then looked to Marzgurl again "Never do I wanna see fireworks anymore. I hate fireworks. Let's just stick with parties"

Lilo ran over to Nani and replied with her head held high "The table's done. I guess we've got everything right?"

Ace grinned as she admired her handywork. Not bad for someone who had no exact way of doing decorations. She squirmed as Gadget walked back up onto her shoulder. "How much longer do you think they'll be done there for?"

[Elisa/Maven Of The Eventide]

Jasmine smiled glad Maleficent was staying.

"Well we better get finish up quickly before Iheart gets too curious." said Jasmine.

"I can understand if you don't like the noise. People just enjoy the colors that show up in the sky when they ignire in the sky." said Marzgurl.

"They went out for a bit. I think they were going to play some basketball and then train for a bit. We'll see them later." said Roses trying to stall.

Elisa nodded.

"Yep. We're done. We should all hide. Roses and Iheart should start coming up soon. I'll text her just in case." said Elisa.

She pulled out her cell phone and sent out a text to Roses before shutting off the lights and ducking under the table.

Marzgurl ducked behind a chair as the lights went out.

Grimhilde ducked behind the sofa with Jasmine following her.

Roses turned as she got the text just as Iheart began walking upstairs. She smiled rushing up after her.

As the door opened as Roses walked out following Iheart the lights turned on and there was a big shout of "Surprise!"

Lottie squeed a bit before ducking right next to Elisa in a table. Kiara followed Marzgurl under the kitchen table. Lilo was right beside Nani and hid under the dinner table. When IHeart and Roses came out they all shouted loudly "SURPRISE!" Along with the other girls

IHeart was confused at first with the dark setting. Then she jumped in shock as all the girls said surprise. IHeart took it all in then covered her face in pure joy and laughed. She hugged Roses then went over to the other girls replying "Really? This is all for me?! You guys planned a party?"

"A surprise party!" Kiara replied

"We knew you've been having problems lately so we wanted to celebrate something for you!" Lilo replied

"Oh do you like it? We wanted you to feel happy" Lottie replied

Rachel went out from the porch and went to IHeart and said :"We made it for you all the girls."Rachel said to her smiling and then she looked at Lottie and Roses and the spoiled woman smiled . Her green eyes looked at her , Rach was happy.

Sarafina waved at IHeart and the older lioness said :"Surprise IHeart !." The dark creamy feline said to the young girl , dark green eyes scanning the house , the feline gave a smile from her creamy muzzle.

Roses smiled as Iheart hugged her.

"It was Elisa's idea. Critic took the guys out to have a party for Spoony and Ma-Ti while we stayed here to have one for you." said Roses.

Elisa smiled glad Iheart was surprised and she loved it.

"I'm glad you like it. Besides we all deserve to have some fun once and awhile. There's a lot of food and we can play games or watch a movie." said Elisa.

"We're glad you're happy. That's why we made it." said Nani.

"Yeah. We were glad to do it. We needed a party anyway. It's been too long." said Marzgurl.

"I'm glad you're happy Iheart. Now let's eat. This stuff looks delicious." said Jasmine.

"Iheart you go first. This is your party after all." said Grimhilde.

IHeart had some happy tears swell but she wiped them away. She smiled to all the women "I can't thank you enough. This is the best thing ever" She then laughed when Jasmine mentioned food "Yeah! I'm excited!" She then was happy but also shocked when it was grimhilde who said she could go first. She smiled warmly "This party is for us all. There's no person who goes first. Let's all get something together"

"Yay! Food!" Kiara replied running over to the table in excitement. Lilo shrugged "I had one cookie but it doesn't matter. I'm still hungry" Lilo then walked over. Lottie clapped her hands and looked to elisa pleased it was successful. Lottie then replied to both lilo and Kiara "Make sure to get plates alright?"

Rachel and Sarafina went to the food table while Sarafina was with Kiara , the older lioness looked at the cub . Rachel got a plate and took some salad and her green eyes looked at food and she said :"Boy I'm hungry , maybe I 'll eat it now ."Rachel said and started to eat it . The spoiled woman enjoyed in the party , Rach was happy .

Following everyone else’s lead, Maleficent quickly moved behind the sofa with Grimhilde and Jasmine when IHeart started to walk into the room. She winced when they all shouted and didn’t join in, merely stood up and walked back to the piece of furniture’s proper end to take a seat.

She remained there for a moment, simply watching as everyone talked and milled about. This quickly grew boring, and she heard her stomach begin to growl. Eyeing the table lined with food, the dark fairy rose and went to satisfy her hunger.

Gold eyes went over the selections carefully. Some of the food – cookies and a cake – were things she recognized, while others were totally foreign to her. Curious, she pulled a triangular slice of… something (pizza) from an open cardboard box and held it up curiously. There were lots of them on the table. Perhaps this was a sign that this was good?
