"I was wondering how far along you've come along in holographic disguises. If we manage to capture them again we should pretend to be them. I don't think it will last but it would be enough to get information and to annoy them. Once they find out someone's been our prisoner for a few weeks or even a few days and they didn't know they'd be devastasted. They'll blame themselves for not seeing through the charade sooner." said Mechakara.

"That's brilliant. The main goal is getting information but if you're caught it'll drive them crazy. Either way we win." said Dr. Smith, chuckling.
He paused looking around.
"I was working on something like that but it's not perfect yet. I wanted to help us get an edge. After all there's a lot of sorcerers on both sides who can disguises themselves. Science can do wonders and even duplicate some things magic can do." said Dr. Smith.

"Yes. You have mentioned that Smith, I do hope we can get that holographic disguise invention done in time" Insano responded in agreement. Insano giggled "You two already look like heroes so if you kiddnapped Linkara or IHeart they wouldn't notice but then again putting a holographic disguise on you two would be needed in case of a different hero" XXXX
"Well, if we have to wait for your invention we could always ask Rita or Facilier. They have something like that" DarkHeart responded, really intrigued by Mechakara's idea

"Yes I suppose you could ask them. But spells can wear off. These will stay as long as you want them to." said Dr. Smith.
He didn't trust magic that much anyway. Why should he when he has science. Together with Insano he'd built some great devices.

Mechakara shook his head.
"I'm not sure if I want to trust Rita or Facilier. Rita's enslaved people before and could try with one of us. And Facilier's motives are hard to pin down. He is a trickster after all and making any deal with him could backfire. Maybe I'll ask Dark Nella or Malachite." said Mechakara.

"I sense they are trying to decieve us. I was recently seeing them talk to each other privately. They saw me then told me to go on about my day. They are hiding something. Also, Malachite, as powerful as he is, should be looked at as well, I do not think he trusts technology at all" DarkHeart responded. She had her early suspicions before since she saw Rita and Facilier smirk to each other when bad news on the team came to arise. She hoped they wouldn't try anything

Mechakara nodded listening to Dark Heart.
"You're right. He hates technology. Even if he could help us he'd probably refuse. I guess Dark Nella's the person to ask if we don't want to wait for them to finish. We're not going to be ready to fight for awhile anyway I might as well wait for the devices." said Mechakara.

"Yes. It is getting hard to tell who to trust. I mean we are all villains after all. Backstabbing each other is what you'd expect in a group like this. At least we're not as bad as the pirates in the disney movies. They were backstabbing each other and switches sides so much I started to lose count." said Dr. Smith.

"Yes. We may have alliences but in the end we do have a backstabbing streak. Hey, we four can obviously trust each other but we should keep our heads up. We'll talk to Dark Nella about that" Insano responded, serious and grave, which of course was unusual for the scientist to be like XXXX
"Dark Nella I trust. She is one of our leaders after all" DarkHeart responded, with a sense of concern and careful attitude. She smirked to Smith "Those may be just movies but then again some of our allies and enemies are from movies as well"

"Perhaps we should start keeping a closer eye on the others especially Facilier, Rita, and Malachite. I doubt they'd be stupid enough to try anything. Especially on their own." said Mechakara.

"Yes. Even together the three of them couldn't stop our army. Now I suppose they could stop Critic's but they'd only be doing us a favor if they did that." said Dr. Smith.

"Yes. Those three are best to be looked at. If they do intend on betraying us, they may want the strongest or most dependable members of this team on their side. They made want to take it slowly, obviously, so we'll keep things low ourselves" Insano responded. He only hoped that the three magicians were stopped or at least captured before they tried anything XXXX
"Malachite obviously would be expected since he hates technology and science but Rita and Facilier's motives to betray us illude me. Sure they have betrayed people before but why us? We have a lot of power" DarkHeart asked, confused and curious to the attempts of betrayal

But after that last attack where a lot of us got hurt and we lost our captives I don't know anymore." said Mechakara.

Dr. Smith paused as he heard Mechakara speak. He understood where he was coming from. He was still loyal to Ask That Guy and Dark Nella but it was disappointing to get a defeat after a long winning streak.
"I don't blame you for having doubts. It's natural. But things will turn around. We'll crush them next time. They won once. And one battle does not win a war." said Dr. Smith.

"You have a point. I still stand by the army but you can admit having defeats make you feel unsure. We'll get those idiots" Dr. Insano responded, agreeing with mechakara but also trying to encourage him. Dr. Insano then nodded to Smith in agreement before helping out mechakara's final detail on the backside XXXX
"Yes. We all have our checkered pasts. We have lied and cheated but at least we know when to do so. I don't entirely trust everyone but I trust them far better then the previous three we were talking about" DarkHeart responded calmly back
Mechakara nodded. Despite his doubts he'd knew they win. They had the clone ring of Ma-Ti and soon the gem from Malachite's Hand would be complete for him to use. No way they can stop them now.
"At least we have a few new surprises to throw at them. Like Seven, and the cloned ring of heart. I can't wait see Nostalgia Chick and Ma-Ti's faces when they see them." said Mechakara.

Dr. Smith chuckled.
"Well there's one thing you can say about this war. It's certainly not boring." joked Dr. Smith.
He nodded in agreement with Mechakara. Thankfully they had been able to clone the ring in time. They were going to destroy the ring but got distracted by the battle. They should have destroyed it first before going into battle. Now they had the ring back.
