Malachite was furious he'd lost to Critic. The amulet Facilier had given him a few weeks back only gave him a limited time to access his powers. He wanted his powers back in full. Even without the gem he was still powerful. He knocked on Facilier's door waiting for him to answer.

[Dr. Facilier]

Dr. Facilier stirred a bit at the loud knocking at his door. He had a sense of feeling it was someone who needed to speak with him and wasn't happy. Probably Rita or Ask Thatguy. He answered the door to realize it was Malachite instead, but he was half-right about his assumption, Malachite wasn't really happy. Putting his typical charm routine he replied leaning a arm againest the door "Hey there malachite? What seems to be the trouble? The doctor's in session"

Malachite walked in and turned to Facilier. He held out the amluet that was still hung around his neck.

"This isn't enough. My power keeps weakening and I lost to the Critic. Sure he had that battle armor but i know I'd have beaten him if I had full access to my power. Or if that gem hadn't been destroyed. I need your help to make me stronger. I will not let Critic, Ma-Ti, or anyone make a fool out of me again." said Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Well damn. The amulet failed? Time for a makeover eh?" Facilier responded walking closer to his ally. He smirked, he was listening to the wizard but he had a small plan of his own. He then spoke again "I've got something better for ya. We both want something in common: Power. I can make that happen. You came to the right man"

"It failed twice on me. The first ended in a tie. But this time he won. He didn't hurt me as badly. He was more interested in rescuing Chick. Although I did press a few of his buttons. He cares deeply for Nostalgia Chick, Iheart, and Ma-Ti. They are his closest weakness. We've got to get at least one of them to make him suffer." said Malachite.

He smiled as Facilier said he could help him.

"That's what I want. More power. But don't give me another worthless trinket that will only wear off.." said Malachite.

He took of the amulet tossing it onto the bed annoyed.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Yeah. His concern over them will be his downfall. I already put a darkness spell on that brat Ma-Ti but it can be broken at anytime and he has another source of power within him that further tells me that good things won't last so we'll have to get rid of him anyway" Facilier told this to Malachite due to trust and the fact his deal with malachite would later put them in the same category. On the subject of Chick, he rolled his eyes "Chick's a easy one. They love each other. The lovebird shtick. You can blow a bunch of rice at her face and Critic would have a fit" He chuckled "Again. Concern will be his downfall"

He then laughed at IHeart "What her? That little whore? If she can be overpowered by me she can be overpowered by anyone. Mechakara told me once she tried to take him down and failed. She's no problem, just blast her and she'll be gone" He then snapped out of his teasing of the girl to look at the amulet thrown to the bed. He smirked, he liked malachite, a stubborn proud man, kinda like himself.

He replied "Alright. I warn you though. It'll cost you"

Malachite listened interested as Facilier mentioned a spell on Ma-Ti.

"Interesting. So the boy's not so pure anymore." chuckled Malachite.

He nodded agreeing Chick and Iheart were easier to get rid of. He frowned.

"They still have that ring. It can do a lot of damage to us. We got to destroy that somehow." said Malachite.

He paused as Dr. Facilier told him it would cost him.

"I don't have much money and my magic's on the fritz. I don't even my have gem that gave me unlimited power anymore. What do you want from me?" said Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Well, it won't be painful or costly. It's simply for your allegence to me and the friends I serve" Facilier responded, somewhat ignoring the fact IHeart and Chick had Ma-Ti's ring. With his planning, those two women would be dealt with properly. He then replied "It's your choice, no power and you'll be constantly be deleted by nostalgia loser or you serve me and my plans and have unlimited power" He then went over to walk away awaiting Malachite's answer

Malachite nods knowing he wanted power. He could walk out and keep losing or agree and be the winner he used to be. He walked over to Facilier.

"What does this entail? Am I giving up soul? My free will? Or is this just a simple alliance? I want to be sure of the terms before I agree to this." said Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Well it's pretty much giving up yourself to the friends, like giving up your soul in a way. You'd have free will and such but if you did any funny business you'd go to the friends forever but you won't have to worry about that if you just stay on my side" Facilier replied, stretching out the truth to satisfy both him and the wizard. He then smirked "Now come on. Won't it all be worth it just to see Critic bleed out in pain? What good will it be just to refuse a deal that promises you everything?"

Malachite stopped and thought. Was it worth gambling his soul away to make sure he was victorious. He nodded. Of course it was. He would not let anyone defeat him ever again.

"You've got yourself a deal. I'm not going to let Critic or anyone make a fool out of me again. I came here for more power and that's what I want to get." said Malachite.

He smiled looking around not seeing any of Facilier's friends.

"So what do I do? Sign a contract?" asked Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

Facilier grinned darkly, very glad the man took the shot. He wanted enough revenge and the man's arrogance and hatefulness proved it. He then shook his head at the question of how to settle the deal. He held his hand out "Nope. Just shake my hand. Simple handshake will settle the whole deal then you'll get the same powers as I do" Facilier then awaited Malachite's answer

Malachite nodded feeling it was too easy. He shook Facilier's hand as he felt his power grow. He smiled as he waved his hand raising the amulet into the air temporarily before dropping it to the ground. He then could have sworn he saw his shadow move on its own but shook his head thinking he was tired or seeing things. He turned back to Dr. Facilier.

"Thank you Facilier. You've got yourself a partner and a friend." said Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

Facilier, grinning insanely, watched as malachite's soul being given to the friends. He now was debted just like he was so in order to do that, malachite now had to do what he said. Facilier responded back "Wonderful. Now I have a small secret that'll become big but I need you to keep it to yourself"

He closed the door and locked it as well as keeping the voices outside unaware by muting the door. He then replied "I'm planning a takeover with Rita. We need your help"

Malachite nodded as Facilier closed the door after explaining he had a secret. When Facilier mentioned he and Rita were going to take over he nodded.

"I'm in. We may have had a few victories but we should have struck before they had time to train. Now those heroes have a few strong members that changed them from a mild annoyance to a powerful threat. Ask That Guy was a fool to wait. Now they have Ma-Ti's ring back and the few captives we had." said Malachite.

He paused realizing he had the same power as Facilier and there were still a few strong members in this army.

"There's still problems. Duke Nukem seems nearly indestructible since he survived that bomb. Phantom Virus is made of pure electrical energy. And then we have the few robots like Mechakara. And then we've got the scientists Insano and Smith, and Dark Nella one of the leaders. Not to mention the few hero types we have working here like the two turtles and Goggles." said Malachite.

He paused wanting to know more about his new powers.

"Perhaps you can show me how to use my new powers. If my powers equal yours I want to be able to use them effectively to help in the takeover." said Malachite.
