Splinter ran to see the boy covered in blood and injury. Splinter went to the medical bay to get medicine then came back right to the boy. He responded calmly "Who did this to him?"

"DarkHeart. My old enemy" IHeart responded angerily. She then bent down to stare eye to eye with Ma-Ti. She kissed his forehead assuringly and responded "I don't care what she says about me. You shouldn't either. You know she's just bluffing. She only said that to get you to talk. I'm not afraid about her killing me, I'm afraid of losing you"

She sighed sadly "I never should've piled on Facilier. I could've punched her if I didn't" She turned again to Ma-Ti allowing splinter to heal him

"It's not your fault Ma-Ti. She threatened you. Patch will be fine and so will you. I won't lose you to anyone ever again you hear me?" Critic responded just as upset if not more

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti nodded reluctantly. Goggles had been captured because of him. He wasn't going to let someone else get hurt because of him. Getting hurt had been the only way to protect Iheart. But next time he might not be there.

"No you're wrong. She hates you. They way she spoke I knew she wanted you dead. But last I checked there was only one of you. Where'd did Mechakara get a robot clone of you?" said Ma-Ti.

He paused shaking his head when she mentioned Facilier.

"You didn't know what he was going to do. You were just trying to stop him. We all were." said Ma-ti.

He heard Linksano and Critic try to talk to him and sighed.

"She used me for information and then she said she was going to send Mechakara after you. I lost it after that. If you hadn't come in I'd probably be dead." said Ma-Ti.

[IHeart]

IHeart winced "Let's just say... Mechakara and I met a lot of times. He kiddnapped me one time and grabbed my blood. She has my DNA" IHeart then responded calmly "Well I know she hates me and wants to kill me but she said all that to your face to gain a reaction. If I know her and I do, she would say mean shit to get a reaction. As for Mechakara, I've handled him before, Link can help out"

IHeart frowned and rubbed her arm sadly "I know. I didn't know what I was doing but that's why I shouldn't of done it. I could've gotten help at least. I could've taunted him verbally"

Critic growled "Which is why we're keeping more security in this house. Linksano, I need you to whip up some security alarms or at least a camera" Splinter meanwhile worked on Ma-Ti's chest making sure the brusing would not be so severe

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti listened to the origin of Dark Heart more or less.

"Maybe you're right. But I didn't want to take that chance. We just found each other. I didn't want to lose you." said Ma-Ti.

He paused and nodded.

"It was very brave. I don't know if I could have done that. Just don't it again without a shield or something to protect you." said Ma-Ti.

Linksano smiled having already installed a couple cameras into the house.

"I had an alarm but it wasn't loud enough yet. I'll fix that. I could only hear it in my lab. And I only have cameras on the front and back porches. I'll get more installed in the house as quick as possible." said Linksano.

[IHeart]

"Alright. Also, again, maybe we need a camera or two in this house. For extra precautions" Critic responded patiently to Linksano. He then turned to Ma-Ti and said "You handled a robot. You've handled a lot Ma-Ti. I think you're just as brave"

"Critic's right. You're just as brave as any of us. Yeah, I'll use shields next time" IHeart smirked, kissing Ma-ti's head again gently. Trying to assure him as splinter bandaged him

[Ma-Ti]

"Don't worry. I'll start on it in the morning. I'll get Linkara, Gadget, and Donatello to help me so it'll go faster." said Linksano.

He paused glancing at Ma-Ti.

"The poor kid. We should have warned everyone about Dark Heart. But we didn't know she was in the war. We should have known she'd come after her master sooner or later." said Linksano.

Ma-Ti smiled at Critic and Iheart and then winced as pain shout through his face.

"I guess. I just hate she tricked me into doing something for her. That's twice I've helped those creeps." said Ma-Ti, angrily.

"Hey. You were tricked the first time and you were trying to protect Iheart this time. You helped us this time just as much as you did Dark Heart. Dark Heart didn't learn anything too important." said Linksano.

[IHeart]

"We didn't know about her until now. We'll keep her on our sights now that we do" Critic responded to Linksano. He then turned to Ma-Ti yet again "Linksano's right. Hell, I've been tricked to doing a review of the star wars christmas special one time, god was that a painful moment I'd like to forget" Critic then rubbed his face "Those villains just don't want to give up. Don't worry ma-ti, we know"

"She won't get you again. You won't be fooled again. I'll make sure of it" IHeart replied, assuringly so. She hoped she was right about what she said

[Dr. Linksano/Wayne Schlumper]

Linksano nodded knowing he'd screwed up with the cameras. He had to make sure this didn't happen again. He paused turning to Critic.

"You actually reviewed the Star Wars Christmas Special? Not even George Lucas wants to admit that existed. I'm so sorry." said Linksano.

He patted Critic on the back. That special was one of the few movies no one should have had to see.

Ma-Ti nodded glad they were looking out for him while Splinter patched up his wounds.

"I guess I'll be out of fighting for awhile. She was really strong. And I thought she was you." said Ma-Ti.

He frowned clenching his fist remembering how he'd kissed her and carried her home when she'd faked an injury. She'd used him, used his feelings and concerns about Iheart to bring her to the house and get information from him. After promising himself this wouldn't happen it had happened anyway. First Facilier now Dark Heart. Was Dr. Blight going to walk in next demanding him to spill everything?

"I can't believe I thought she was you. I should have realized you wouldn't have gotten so injured without a communicator." said Ma-Ti.

[IHeart]

Splinter responded to Ma-Ti "Do not fear. Many people that look similiar to another are often mistaken as the person. You are not the only one. Your friends are right. As for your injuries, you will most definitely not be able to fight, they are too severe" He left out IHeart's condition for he told Critic about this already, that she would be able to go back into fighting but if Ma-Ti knew that, he probably would not be happy about it.

Critic turned to Linksano and breathed heavilly. He took Linksano's pity in appreciation though, so Critic smirked jokingly "Don't worry Linksano. I'm still going to therapy. Well, for that film and a few others. Don't wanna mention them and won't bother too" He patted the scientist back and responded "Never. Review. Nostalgia"

IHeart frowned, not happy at all with Ma-Ti's condition. She then turned to Ma-Ti again and responded "She's slimy. She's willing to do anything for a cop-out. It's ok ma-ti. I understand. I'm just happy that she didn't kill you. If she did I'd leave this house and rip her so much she wouldn't be able to scrap up as a toaster"

[Ma-Ti]

Linksano nodded.

"I'll stick to science and leave the reviewing up to you, Chick, Linkara, and the others." said Linksano.

He turned back hearing Splinter and Iheart talk to Ma-Ti and frowned. He hated feeing helpless. He would update the cameras really soon so this wouldn't happen again.

Ma-Ti nodded to Splinter.

"I figured. At least Iheart and I can spend some time together healing." said Ma-Ti, unaware she was ready to fight.

He frowned at Iheart shaking his head.

"She let me think she was you. I actually kissed her." said Ma-Ti.

The thought nearly made him gag kissing a robot who'd just beaten him up and almost went after his girlfriend. He pause glancing at Iheart.

"I'm sorry. Now I know how Goggles feels after kissing the wrong person." said Ma-Ti sadly.

[IHeart]

IHeart and splinter glanced to each other a bit before both just allowed Ma-Ti to speak. IHeart then heard that he kissed DarkHeart and the thought made her feel super jealous of DarkHeart. After a while responded, holding Ma-Ti's hand and spoke calmly "If it helps, I don't think she enjoyed it either. Ok, that was terrible, I'm trying to say I understand. I'm not mad at you, nothing can ever make me mad at you"

Critic smirked, glad IHeart was so forgiving and kind to Ma-Ti. Ma-Ti needed someone like IHeart anyway, he was sincerely glad for them. He turned to Linksano who looked upset, Critic understood for he felt the same way. Critic felt bad for not being able to do anything. He patted linksano on the shoulder again with a look of "Yeah. I know. Me too"

[Dr. Linksano/Wayne Schlumper]

Linksano turned to look at Critic and whispered to him.

"You know we can't keep this a secret right? He's going to find out she can go back into battle. His ring makes him a telepath. And even if he didn't have it we can't fool him forever. Especially after she nearly died thanks to Facilier on top of everything else that creep has done to Ma-Ti, Goggles, and Spoony that kid's got to be wrecked with guilt and anger. We may need to tie him down or something while he recovers so he doesn't do something stupid and get himself hurt even worse." whispered Linksano.

He hated to admit it but he knew Ma-Ti might try that and he only wanted the boy to get better.

Ma-Ti stopped seeing Iheart and Splinter glance at each other and Linksano whispering to Critic. They were keeping something from him. He could tell even without his ring. He then realized she hadn't been limping and she had very few bandages on her now. Could she be healed up already without anyone telling him? And now he was stuck here. If she was able to battle he couldn't be there to protect her. He nodded as Iheart tried to make him feel better but right now he was just feeling worse. Dark Heart was ready to kill Iheart and now he couldn't stop her. Facilier would go after her too. He had to keep her safe. He glanced at the group folding his arms looking annoyed at them.

"You're certainly very active for an injured girl. You'd think you were all better or maybe I'm just seeing things." said Ma-Ti.

[IHeart]

Critic hissed back "I know. We'll have to tell him but---" Critic was then interupted by Ma-Ti confronting them. Critic panicked, what could he say? What needed to be said? Ma-Ti was on to them. He wasn't stupid. Critic would not lose Ma-Ti but he didn't want to let the boy loose trust in him again. Critic sighed and responded "Ma-Ti. We know you wanna protect IHeart.... You're injured though. I would let you fight out anything but I'm not losing you. Not again"

IHeart paled, she couldn't believe herself, sutbly she was doing the same routine she was doing before Ma-Ti died. She responded rubbing her arms "I am getting better. Linksano, critic and splinter told me about my condition and uh.. I'm definitely not getting worse. I have lost tons of bandages" She turned to him and held his shoulder gently "You know I can't lie to you. Hell, I would never lie to you. So there you go"

"Yes. IHeart is getting better but I do not think you should be worried about her or what is going on if you want my personal opinion, Ma-Tisan. Please. You cannot worry yourself, you will cause the injuries slow treatment" Splinter replied, interuptting both Critic and IHeart

[Ma-Ti]

Linksano nodded but his suspicions were confirmed when Ma-Ti said Iheart looked healthy. Critic, Splinter, and Iheart spoke all there was to say. He just nodded in agreement seeing the jig was up.

Ma-Ti frowned his suspicions being confirmed. Now she was healthy and he was the one stuck in the medical wing. She could get hurt and he wouldn't be there to help protect her. He realized he wasn't in a condition to fight even though he wanted to. All he could do was nod as he looked at Critic.

"You make sure she stays safe. I almost lost her once. I don't know if I can go through that again." said Ma-Ti.

He turned back to Iheart and smiled wincing through the pain as Splinter kept cleaning his wounds and bandaging him up.

"I can't stop you and I can't go with you. Promise me you'll come back to me and you'll stay safe. If a battle gets too bad get out before it gets worse." said Ma-Ti.

[IHeart]

"Ma-Ti. As long as I breathe, nobody will get left behind" Critic responded assuringly, turning to IHeart with a big brother-like smile. IHeart smiled back at the man before turning to Ma-Ti, she then held his hand, seeing he was in slight pain and responded "I promise. I'll get out before anything gets worse. I'll be back here for you. You'll be on my mind while in the battle"
