A Failed Warning

[Mechakara]

(January 26th. Set just after Redeemed. Open to Mechakara, Insano, Dr. Facilier, Rita, and Malachite for the first page. Then open to Dark Heart, Seven, Rodney, and Bender if he wants to.)

Mechakara walked through the house searching for Dark Nella. He had to warn her of their suspicions. Dr. Insano, Dr. Smith, Dark Heart, and himself had talked about them a couple days ago. And now talking with Dr. Insano he knew they had to warn their leaders. He was sure Insano was talking to Ask That Guy by now. He saw Dark Nella walk into a room. He rushed in after her.

"Dark Nella. I have something to tell you." said Mechakara.

Dark Nella turned around and smiled at him.

"Sure. Why don't you sit down?" said Dark Nella.

Mechakara nodded taking a seat. Suddenly vines appeared grabbing him trying to hold him down.

"What's the meaning of this?" said Mechakara.

Dark Nella just smirked before transforming into Rita Repulsa as her magic wand appeared in her hand.

"You're so easy to fool. No matter. That will change once we're done with you. Isn't that right Dr. Facilier?" said Rita.

Malachite meanwhile was searching for Dr. Insano. His new alliance with Rita and Dr. Facilier was in jeopardy. He had to stop the mad scientist before he warned Ask That Guy. Surely he couldn't have gotten too far.

[Dr. Insano]

"Yep. You, sir, are a big problem, you know too much. I think it's high time we start giving you a new master to control you. Insano's a idiot to have let his most prized possession get freed" Dr. Facilier replied, revealing himself in the shadows. He grabbed his cane as it began to glow a purplish color. He grinned sadistically "I gotta admit. You're gullible but you're still useful"

Insano was meanwhile on his way to Ask Thatguy. Like Mechakara, he had serious suspicions over the three sorcerers, Malachite, Facilier and Rita. He hoped that Ask Thatguy would be patient enough to listen. He suddenly took note that Malachite was near him, and feeling uncomfortable turned the other way, hoping the sorcerer didn't see him

[Malachite Gamic]

Mechakara raised his hand to blast the vines away. But the vines tighetened around him so he couldn't move.

"You'll never get away with this." said Mechakara.

He paused can't believe he just said something so cliche. He sighed shaking his head.

"They'll stop you. We've got sorcerers, monsters, an entire army. You think you can just reprogramming me will help you. Well you're wrong." said Mechakara.

Rita chuckled.

"You think you're the only one we're taking care of. Insano has to be silenced too. Malachite will make sure of that. And then we'll go after you precious daughters and Insano's creation Rodney. With all of you on our side, we'll easily convince some of the newer recruits to join our takeover. I doubt they're happy with what's been going on." said Rita.

Malachite meanwhile spotted Insano and smirked as the man tried to leave. He followed him vanishing and reappearing in front of Insano blocking his escape.

"You don't look well. Perhaps we should find you a place to sit down." said Malachite.

He grabbed Insano's arm and vanished teleporting into the room with the others. He then shoved Insano into a chair as vines appeared and wrapped around Insano tying him to the chair.

"Now isn't that just cozy." said Malachite.

(ooc: I figured Malachite would bring Insano here so Facilier could make sure the spell worked. Since Malachitte's still adjusting to his new powers. But if you want Insano to fight back a little first I can edit this.)

[Dr. Facilier]

(OCC: No this is fine. Insano without weapons is pretty much easy to grab)

Insano snarled as Malachite teleported in front of him. He attempted to run away but got grabbed, transported him and tied to a magical vined chair. Insano cursed loudly "Son of a bitch!" Since the vines tied him up tightly and forced him to the seat. He turned to Facilier "I knew it. I knew it! We never should've trusted you"

"Hmm. That's kinda true. You never should've trusted me, but you're all villains like me so it's kinda obvious why you idiots did" Dr. Facilier smirked widely. He then turned to Malachite and replied to him "I think we should start trying out your spell-work by brainwashing our dear doctor. While me and rita use our powers to deal with this more... stubborn mind"

"I'll never surrender! You three will kneel before the powers of SCIENCE!" Insano growled

[Malachite Gamic]

"Insano. They got you too?" said Mechakara, struggling in his chains.

He did have one trick up his sleeve thanks to Dr. Insano's upgrades. He couldn't break the vines cause Rita, Facilier, and Malachite were more skilled at magic than he was. But he could send out a call for help. He hoped Seven and Dark Heart got in time.

"Science and technology will fall. The era of dark magic shall rise starting today. And while they handle that machine I'll take care of you." said Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

(OCC: Do you want Facilier to catch Mechakara's attempt for help or do you want it to play out in the next brainwash thread?)

Facilier turned to Mechakara and laughed "Of course we did. You think we're that stupid to spare the scientist who practically brought us all these good weapons... As good as they are, they're nothing compared to what I can do" Facilier turned to Rita and responded "Rita, if you would please proceed with our little reprogram?"

"For the sake of obviousness, what exactly are you going to do?" Dr. Insano dared, growling as the chains tightened in case he tried to break free, which of course he was. Dr. Insano frowned to Mechakara "If anything happens to me, do not allow these fools the satisfaction of feeling victory"

Insano then smirked to Malachite "Oh really? Tell me, how were you defeated again? Oh yeah. By a teenage captain planet character"

(ooc: Yeah. Either that or the brainwashing stops the message. Either way. If you don't want the others to be brainwashed in this thread.)

Mechakara hoped he could hold until help arrived.

"You planned this didn't you. When I was still recovering from that last attack. If I'd been fully repaired I'd have seen your attack coming." said Mechakara.

He heard Insano and nodded. He would do his best to avoid whatever they were planning and escape.

Rita chuckled at Mechakara.

"Of course we did. It's a lot easier to reprogram you when you're injured like this. But don't worry. It will all be taken care of." said Rita.

She smirks and blasts Mechakara with her wand as his body begins to pulse with red energy hitting the gem hidden within him and making it the target of the spell as well as slowly reprogramming Mechakara.

"Soon you shall be loyal to only us." said Rita.

"Well we're going to give you a makeover. A mental makeover. Once we're through you'll serve us willingly." said Malachite, chuckling.

He frowned as Insano mentioned Ma-Ti.

"At least he had a magic ring. You've been beaten by Linkara and Spoony many times. They're just nerds who have access to weapons. I'd have thought someone of your intellect would have defeated them years ago." mocked Malachite.

He sent a blast of black energy towards Insano as his body began to pulse with black energy.

Mechakara struggled in his vines as his body pulsated with red energy.

"Whatever you're doing I'll undo. Even if it takes me years and then I'll come after the three of you." said Mechakara.

Rita chuckled.

"We look forward to that day." mocked Rita.

[Dr. Facilier]

(OCC: I'll let the message go through. It'll give DarkHeart and Seven a reason to come by only for Mechakara to strangely say it was a false alarm)

Dr. Facilier grinned darkly "You say you'll win but look at you. Technology cannot comprehend magic. You said so yourself. You'll soon have the same message and command of us being your masters forever locked into your mind" Dr. Facilier let out a laugh as the red energy continued on the robot

Dr. Insano suddenly felt pain in his head, as well as his entire body frozen as the black energy coursed through his body. The pain was because Insano was resisting the brainwash spell, and the more he resisted, the more his head hurt. Insano growled in pain and cried out "This is only temporary. One day, I will be freed and one day you'll suffer a far worse punishment for your so-called takeover"

As if that comment made it worse, the black energy increased which meant the brainwashing spell was taken to another level, increasing Insano to grow weak and tired. It then occured to the doctor's mind that giving in would cause the pain to stop. So he allowed the spell to continue, which made Insano start believing that Facilier was indeed a better leader and the pain in his head decreased

Mechakara frowned in annoyance as the body flowed through his body. Soon he was silent as the magic began taking its course. He would get free one day and make them all pay for this. He tried to struggle out of the vines before his body grew still as the energy began to take over his body.

Malachite watched as Mechakara slowly was taken over by Rita's magic. He smirked glancing back at Insano.

"You were a fool to release him. Now you'll both serve us. But don't feel so bad. Ask That Guy would have probably killed you eventually. You're too smart. At least this way you get to live." said Malachite, mocking him.

[Dr. Facilier]

Insano ignored the comment for replying to it would hurt his head again. The brainwashing spell was continuing to work more and more, causing Insano to lose focus, lose opinion and only believe in a simple thing: Dr. Facilier was leader. Insano had one last look to his ally and friend Mechakara before passing out from the spell. When he awoke, he would be put under the spell of obeying the three magicians. The black energy was taking over his entire body as he passed out

Dr. Facilier smirked pleased that the spells were such a success. He turned to Mechakara who was still and the red energy surrounding his body made him smirk wider, Facilier replied "You know it's ironic. Your eyes are red, now you're covered in it" Facilier then looked to his nails as if in boredom before awaiting the two prisoners to be done with the reprograming/brainwashing

Malachite smirked conjuring a chair as he sat down to wait. He paused glancing at the door and waving his hand closing it as a black energy surrounded the door sealing the room off before vanishing.

'"That should work for a bit. At least long enough for these two to join us. We wouldn't want someone walking in and interrupting us now would we?" said Malachite.

(ooc: figure the spell would only last a few minutes since he's new to the powers anyway. But it would be a barrier to the other villains.)

Mechakara relaxed shutting his eyes as his programming was being overridden. Dr. Facilier was his leader. He would serve Dr. Facilier, Malachite, and Rita Repulsa and help them take over the army. Ask That Guy and Dark Nella were awful leaders and if things kept going his daughters could be killed and Patch would remain with the heroes or worse get killed if he wasn't there to protect him. He gave in with those thoughts wanting to protect the three of them knowing it was a losing battle anyway.

[Dr. Facilier]

(OCC: Ok. Not a problem. Last post for Insano's/Mechakara's brainwashing then we'll get the others or something)

Insano's mind was now wasted with constant thoughts of wanting to serve Rita and Facilier. He hated the fact of Ask Thatguy and Dark Nella being their leaders. He would serve them. He would do so willing and as much as he could. It was a lost cause to refuse and the spell poisoned his mind. His mind felt much more comfortable and more relaxing as Insano completely gave in. He kept the single thought of serving the magicians a priority in his new aspect on the war itself

Facilier nodded to Malachite "No we wouldn't. I got the door checked and it's locked. Nobody's here except us. Just a minute more and it'll be done" Facilier then saw both prisoners completely be taken over and resisted the urge to chuckle or mock them as they were going through the process

Mechakara's eyes opened as they turned red before returning to normal. He glanced at Rita, Dr. Facilier, and Malachite.

"How may I serve you my masters?" said Mechakara.

Rita smirked waving her hand as the vines vanished along Mechakara to stand up if she wished.

"That's one down, one to go. This was a lot easier than I expected." said Rita.

Mechakara stood up and smiled at his new masters. His personality had changed very little aside from his willingness to serve them. He still hated Linkara with a passion and wanted to protect Seven, Dark Heart, and Patch. But he wouldn't even think of going up against them now.

Malachite turned to Rita.

"We still have to wait for him to come out of it. A machine is one thing. But he's a human. It might take longer." said Malachite.

[Dr. Facilier]

Insano admittedly was slightly slower than Mechakara but after the black energy stopped surrounding the man, Insano woke up calmly and stood up obediantly. He still had the insane personality and still had a friendship like bond with Mechakara and still liked DarkHeart but he wished and desired to serve the magicans that put the spell on him. He replied with a smirk "I live to obey you. I wish to serve you as well, masters"

"Perfect. We've got the both of you. Now we got to get the other ones" Facilier responded pleased of how successful the brainwashing went. Now all they had to do was get Rodney, Bender, DarkHeart, Seven and possibly the fabrication machine. This was going well

Seven was up in the lab when she got the distress signal. She didn't see Dark Heart or Black Lantern Spoony around. If Mechakara was using his emergency distress signal something must be wrong. She rushed downstairs seeing the signal coming from a door. Only it was locked. She banged on it hoping Mechakara was alright.

"Mechakara I know you're in there. Did you send your distress signal? Are you alright?" said Seven.

Malachite turned hearing the door pound and smirked glancing at Mechakara.

"You're more clever than I thought. Well she's just right on time wouldn't you say?" said Malachite.

"Perhaps he should be alone. Then he could say it was his systems glitching." said Rita.

She blasted the group with the wand turning Malachite, Dr. Facilier, Dr. Insano, and herself invisible.

Malachite felt Rita's magic turn him invisible as he spoke to Mechakara.

"Let her in Mechakara." said Malachite.

Mechakara nodded walking over without hesitation. The seal Malachite placed on it vanished as it wasn't very strong as Mechakara unlocked the door.

"Come in Seven. I'm alright. My systems must still be malfunctioning. I think I'll speak to Dr. Insano about it in the morning." said Mechakara.
