A Failed Warning

Ah-ha! Bender knew there was something up. He quickly reached into his body compartment and took out two of the ray guns he had been using in the previous battles - both of them rather low on amo, but if he could take down one of them, he might be able to use the gap to run away.

"You ain't getting at me without a fight!" Bender snapped, holding the lazer pistols to either side of him, "Go on! I'll take you all on, you pricks!"

The robot squeezed the trigger on both of his weapons, and began to shot at random directions - he'd have to hit someone. Mere moments after be began shooting like a mad-man (or robot), he felt something strange, the magic from Falicier's cane, hit him from behind, knocking him off his feet.

[Mechakara]

Mechakara and Seven quickly raised their arms as guns appeared out of them ready to fire to knock him out. They stopped and lowered their arms seeing Facilier had gotten to him first.

"You will join us." said Mechakara.

"Join us." repeated Seven in a monotone yet creepy way.

Rita raised her wand ready to fight but Facilier did his magic after all. She lowered her wand turning back to him.

"Nice work Facilier. Now let's finish the job before someone else overhears us." said Rita.

Malachite raised his hand to stop him but Facilier beat him to it. He heard Rita and nodded. If Ask That Guy or Dark Nella showed up before they got Bender, before they were ready to make their move, there would be trouble. He walked around Bender making sure to block him again so he didn't get away.

"She's right. We must do this quickly and quietly." said Malachite.

[DarkHeart]

"I already hit him, it should be quick. One blast is normally enough but if bender keeps stubborn, I'll hit him again" Facilier responded calmly. He turned to the backdoor and locked it in case anyone tried to do anything

DarkHeart saw that bender was about to run but saw Facilier deal with it so she never rose her arm or weapons up. DarkHeart narrowed her eyes "It is useless to resist us bender. You will be one of us"

"One of us" Rodney repeated calmly and monotonely at the same time. Rodney turned to Insano who simply nodded calmly, awaiting bender to give into the spell of brainwashing. Insano even smirked darkly mostly because of wanting bender to listen to reason

The robot felt overwhelmed by something for an instant but snapped back to reality long enough to actually catch himself before hitting the ground. His hands hit the ground hard and Bender froze there for a moment. The bending unit had been brain washed in his experiences before and now realized that was what they were impose on him.

"Dammit," He sneered stubbornly, his head starting to feel clouded and confused.

Bender was still determined to show he still had fight in him and pushed himself back into a standing position. The spell was messing with his senses, so he could barely focus his eyes, but he was still aware enough to hold up the plasma pistols and shoot which-ever way. Meanwhile he let out an uninteligable yell, most likely a series of choice curses. He felt like something else was in his head, fighting for dominance.

"You ain't taking me, meat-bag!" Snapped the robot, still prepared to bite back, even if he had to do it blindly.

If there was one thing Bender hated, it was doing anything for someone else - against his will or not.

"Aww how cute. You're still stubborn even when the blast hit you. We'll just wait though" Dr. Facilier smirked and crossed his arms patiently. He turned to Rita and Malachite giving them a message that he was very pleased of the success he was having so far.

DarkHeart at that moment pitied Bender, not because of the blast but because he was forced when he had the oppotunity to listen. He didn't have to be blasted forcefully but they needed him so it was the second option they had. She was tempted to comfort the robot but realized that would give him a negative message as always so she kept quiet

Insano however was more and more impatient. God, he was taking forever to give in. Even he took less time to realize the truth and he at first refused it, for strange reason he didn't understand why he refused

[Mechakara]

Seven sighed annoyed with the waiting. She sat down followed by Mechakara. Seven pulled out a card game deck and they started playing Go Fish.

You got any 7's?" asked Seven.

Mechakara shook his head.

"Go Fish." said Mechakara.

Seven sighed drawing from the deck and not getting a seven at all.

Rita annoyed with how long it was taking sat down joining them in the game as well. At least it would be something to do while they waited. She drew seven cards from the deck joining into the game.

Malachite watched the trio play cards and smirked. At least someone was being entertained. He decided to keep an eye on Bender unless he snapped out of it somehow.

"You're fighting a losing battle. Just give in. You'll be much happier that way." said Malachite.

"You wait, pal!" The robot forced out.

Bender'd get back at them. Sooner than they thought too. The bending unit couldn't hold off the spell forever, but he was absolutely determined to get the last laugh. He dropped to his knees and from there fell onto his face. Bender wasn't quite subdued yet, but he was letting them think it. The thought of tricking them was the only thing keeping him clinging to his right mind. Still fighting away the vocie telling him otherwise, the robot stood back up again with an emotionless gaze.

"I obey," He said in a deadpan tone, hopeing they'd buy it for long enough.

[Mechakara]

Mechakara turned looking up from the game seeing he seemed to be working.

"So it finally worked? It took long enough." said Mechakara.

"Welcome to our alliance." said Seven.

Rita frowned suspiciously. She glanced at Facilier wondering if he was telling the truth. After all Facilier cast the spell on Bender. Surely he could tell if Bender was on their side or faking to try to get away.

"So is he on our side or what?" asked Rita.

Malachite was also unsure. Mechakara and the others were easy to enslave but something felt odd. He couldn't put his finger on it. He glanced at Facilier waiting for his answer.

[Dr. Facilier]

"I'm not sure. He looks like he's on our side but the deadpan is weird to me. I mean when Insano did it it had some livelyness. Something's up" Facilier responded very unsure. He turned to Rita and Malachite smirking and the cane glowed brightly. The glow would check to see if Bender was still free-willed and if he was, it would put him in complete control by Facilier

Insano and Rodney kept quiet throughout the procedure, just wanting bender to get on with it. DarkHeart turned to Rita, Seven and Mechakara who stopped playing cards and grinned to them darkly, amused with their boredness

The dead look from his eyes dissapeared and the robot appeared angry. Using his last bit of free will, Bender took a single step foreword - although it was nearly a fall, and aimed to swipe at the staff held by the human. Then, he screwed his eyes shut and shook his head. Upon leaning up striaght again, his yellow eyes shot open again. There was something different about him, but not by much. He appeared to actually have a desire to listen - to work for someone other than himself.

That was it. That final, although pitful, hit was all Bender could take before giving in. Now, he felt so much better, not because he tried to attack, but because his mind was at peace. He was the human's property now and, hey, he was oddly okay with that. The robot had no real mouth to smile with, but it read quite clearly in his eyes.

"Sorry 'bout that. Just had to get that out, but now I much feel better," Bender stated proudly and saluted his new masters, "What's next, humans?"

"Not a problem Bender. Glad you got everything out" Dr. Facilier replied as if nothing happened. As he stood beside Bender he replied to Rita "Well? Shall we risk it and go after Fabrication Machine?"

DarkHeart, Rodney and Insano grinned evilly at the sight of Bender becoming one of them. They were now in good tides and Bender was no longer a problem, but a ally in their sights. DarkHeart nodded to Bender, glad to his cooperation and Insano giggled awaiting orders

[Mechakara]

Mechakara, Rita, and Seven stood up forgeting the game as they joined Facilier, Malachite, and Bender.

"I say no. The thing's always out in the woods anyway. Once we take over the army we can worry about it later. Besides if it escapes it has a chance of warning the others of our plans." said Rita.

"She's right. I think we should focus more on recruiting other members. I think we have enough robots. But we still need other sorcerors and soldiers. I'm sure with the right motivation or bribes we could convince some of the others to join us. They've got to be upset about the captives being stolen, getting hurt, and half of the roof being blown up." said Malachite.

"He speaks the truth. I'm sure many aren't happy with the way things are going right now." said Seven.

"Yes. But the problem is since they have free will you must make sure they sign allegiance to you like a contract or something or perhaps some kind of magical vow of secrecy so they can't change their minds later." said Mechakara.

"Then we just need to plan carefully before we proceed. And using magic sounds like an idea. I'm sure the three of us could come with something to make sure no one decides to let the cat out of the bag." said Rita.

[DarkHeart]

Dr. Facilier responded back "Yeah. We've gotten most of the spoils. I already have a mindwiping spell up and cooking so if people refuse, they'll never remember it so they can't tell. And for those that do decide, will have a contract like Mechakara here suggested. No worries. We better get back in before they figure us out"

Insano and DarkHeart along with Rodney kept silent. They then agreed to go back inside. DarkHeart commented calmly "Well then. I believe today went quite well"

[Mechakara]

Mechakara nodded glad his ideas was considered.

"Then perhaps you all get some sleep while we go and keep repairing ourselves. I'm not back to my full strength yet and want to be ready when you take over." said Mechakara.

"I shall assist you Mechakara." said Seven.

Mechakara smiled walking inside with Seven foillowing him.

Malachite smirked glad the job was done.

"He's right. Our "recruiting" was a bit tiring. I think I'll head to bed. Good night." said Malachite.

He turned and walked inside vanishing as he teleported off to his room.

Rita smirked glancing at the Dark Heart, Facilier, Insano, and Bender.

"I'm going to head to bed myself. Tomorrow we can think of who to approach for our army." said Rita.

She smiled and headed inside vanishing herself as she teleported off to her room.

"Alright. We need rest. All of us. Night all. We deserve a rest anyways" Facilier turned to DarkHeart, Rodney, Bender and Insano. He replied to them "You all participated quite well. See ya'll in the morning" He then transported to his room with his magic

Rodney turned to Insano "I believe it is late Master. Perhaps you would like to rest?"

"Yes yes, later right now you and DarkHeart need repairs. The two of you come with me please" Rodney of course obediantly followed Dr. Insano. Leaving DarkHeart and Insano behind

"Well bender. I suppose I shall see you tommorrow. I need to repair myself like Insano said. Good night to you" DarkHeart then followed Dr. Insano to his lab and went to get repaired some more
