The Race For Treasure (Open)

(ooc: September 8th. Morning.)

In the lab a holodeck was created with help from many of the scientists including Bill who had created the Phantom Virus and used the device to beem things in and out of the real world. They had eventually rebuilt that device as well. And to make it more challenging tech and powers were blocked so you had to use things weapons that matched the setting you were in. There are two ships. One is matching the Jolly Roger from Peter Pan, and the second matches the Montressor from Treasure Planet. Only it can't fly as it'd give an unfair advantage.

Ship 1:

Jaime was eager to go on a sea adventure and heard about it. He was eager to go with his friends and father to go sailing and maybe find some treasure. He held a sword in its scabbard at his side ready to go on an adventure.

Bruce II had come fascinated by the concept but couldn't access his suit. So he was stuck dressing up like a pirate and holding a sword in his hands.

Steve II had come to have some fun. But like the others he was dressed as a pirate. He held a gun in his hand intending to be the long ranger fighter if they ran into trouble.

Cody had come wanting to have some fun. He was relieved for once the water wouldn't turn him into a merman. And he was also dressed like a pirate. This sounded like it was going to be fun. He held a sword in his hand ready for the game to start.

Ship 2:

Natasha stood on the deck of the ship grinning as this game sounded like fun. Although she planned on winning. But they had to beat the others to the treasure and find clues along the way. She was dressed like a pirate and held a sword in her hands.

Jim grinned as he walked out. To be out on the seas. This was going to be fun. He couldn't wait for it to start.

Carmen had come at once hearing about treasure. It sounded like fun and if they were allowed to keep the treasure at the end that would be even better.

Helga grinned as she arrived next. Another treasure hunt. Hopefully this one wouldn't end as bad as the trip to Atlantis. She held a gun in her hands and grinned.

Melody, Amy Youmian, Seto Kaiba and Morph took Ship 1. While John Silver, Illinois, Fandral and Anastasia joined Ship 2

Ship One People:

Melody was more than happy for a sea adventure. She loved the sea and was excited that Cody was joining the trip. She stayed by Cody, shouting excitedly "Let's get the treasure!" Melody looked around, seeing that her ship was pretty old but she knew the model because it was similar to her father's. She turned to her team, offering "I'm not the best driver but I can keep an eye on our opposing team"

Seto Kaiba decided, instantly, to be the team captain "Alright, everyone, since you all need a leader I volunteer myself" Seto replied quickly and smugly "One, because I know what I'm doing. I've searched for buried items long before some of you were conceived. Two, because I know who would work on which job" Seto replied to Melody "Melody, you and Cody will go up the crew's nest and scout the opposing team" He turned to Peter "Peter, since this was your idea, I'll give you the map" He offered the map, hoping this would pacify the kid. He turned to Steve, smiling calmly "Steve, Jaci, you two stay with Peter and surround the deck for clues" Seto then smiled warmly, and flirtatiously, to Bruce "As for you bruce, you're my first mate. Come with me to the wheel if you please" Seto then rolled his eyes at Amy's teasing "I don't know. You babysit morph I guess. I'll find something useful for you" Seto then encouraged Bruce playfully "Come on bruce, why don't you get your sea legs exercised, huh?"

Amy was bored and decided to help out Jaime. She saw no reason not to join. She immediately didn't like Seto on his team though. Mostly because she despised people who were arrogant. Amy was aware of her own arrogance but she knew how to tamper it into something useful. Seto seemed like someone who had a ego they had no idea of using properly. Morph raced around the ship, excited and staying beside a quiet, observant Jaci who was looking out to sea with a wonderous look in her eyes. Amy, after Seto directed the team, asked mockingly "What about me, Captain? What's my special job?" She rolled his eyes as Seto answered "Figures. You ran out of ideas. Too focused on being the boss, you forget you're on a team" She ignored how Morph encouraged her to look outside, deciding to sit by the front "Whatever. As long as our team gets the treasure I can care less"

Ship Two People:

John Silver took the deepest whiff of the fictional air "Ahhh, this may be a holodeck but it feels like home" He looked around, turning to Jim "Just like old times, eh, Jimbo?" John looked over to see his adopted daughter with Jaime and replied firmly "That boy better be good to my daughter when she's on his team" John's eye got red as he got protective "If he lays a dirty finger on her, so help me" He then looked to Jim and his team getting ready. He adjusted his hat, replying to the team "Well, we probably should have a captain I suppose. Or at least a leader to help us plan out how to get that treasure" John replied jokingly "I hate losing treasure, ya know?"

Fandral got his sword out "Aha! Treasure! The most exciting prospect!" Fandral looked around, going to the ship wheel "I call dibs on this!" Fandral looked to his team, getting excited "So where do we start? Where to?"

Illinois chuckled "Now hold on Fandral, we still hadn't picked a team captain yet"
Anastasia raised her hand "I say Helga should be our captain. Or natasha. They can tell us what to do pretty well"

Illinois chuckled again "I don't know. They're good people but are they good leaders? They need to be able to track treasure. And both me and Carmen are good at that. So I say Carmen or myself should be leader?" Illinois turned to Jim, asking "What do you think, kid? Who's got your vote?"
