La technically is taking in all kinds of people like mowgli and jane haha. I just love that Loki has Pinnochio as his nephew/apprentice and La has Mowgli as HER nephew/apprentice. That way mowgli and pinnochio have their own way to connect without being the same. La is closer to mowgli while loki is closer to pinnochio.

La: We got cookies
Jane: Like that's going to convince me
La: Fine, we got your beefcake boyfriend
Jane: Ok now I'm in
La: See I knew I could convince you

Goofy having a fear of water makes so much sense considering the crap he's been through. I originally thought Mickey would also be afraid of water but no, I have a new headcanon. I feel that Mickey would be afraid of tight spaces aka be claustrophobic due to being trapped in a small cage with no where to go. Sure he drowned but that was because he couldn't escape. I think Mickey would be more afraid of tight spaces because of it.
