of course this leaves open bakura/zorc to show up.. since mike currently has the millenium ring, mai has the necklace. and i'm thinking of giving serenity the scales. like in the yugioh world the items bring the card to live. since none of the duelists have magic of their own having an item allows them to duel in this world. although with joey & mai's past trauma with the rod i doubt he'd take that. the puzzle belongs to yugi. i guess that leaves the eye and key if he wants to use them. but that's up to you.

Well Joey definitely won't take anything but Tristan could be pretty useful if he takes the key. I think it'd be more interesting too considering tristan wants to protect those he cares for in a war like this.

now i see tristan & serenity each taking an item... wanting to not just stand on the sidelines and let yugi, joey and mai do all the work. and with yugi not here at the moment they can't wait for him to show up. and as they grow as duelists, romance blooms as well. xD

I love it. He has the key, she has the scales. They work together because they want to help joey and be useful. That's where the romance blooms more.

I was thinking Present Bulma mostly to develop her in case we decide to have Vegeta. But then again, Future bulma could romance Vegeta too haha. I was leaning more to present bulma tho lol

definitely. and if we wanted to we could always set this pre buu arc that way if some wants to play kid trunks and kid goten they can. it could just be set befor the tournament. as far as i know we've only set this after cell's defeat. but there is a seven year time skip... then like a few weeks with gohan at school me eting videl, training videl & goten... trunks training with vegeta.... potential.

but someone could also play future trunks i guess if they wanted trunks. xD

I definitely was thinking of literally having it pre-buu. As in Bulma's history ends as Trunks is a little kid that way people can claim goten and kid trunks. Piccolo's history ends as 'things were peaceful' after cell's defeat and bulma's history would be a tiny more specific that it's before the tournament.
