Personality:
Altivo is a snarker through and through, he's pretty laidback and has a strong sense of humor. That said, he does know how to get the job done and will always go out of his way to help others. He's loyal, friendly, passive and usually peaceful minded. He also has a gluttonous attitude, always focused on getting what he wants to have. He can also be a bit of a diva, dramatic and theatrical especially when he doesn't get what he wants. Despite this he's noble and quite brave, not hesitant to confront danger, especially when it comes to assisting those he cares about.
History:
Altivo was born and raised in the stables of a horse breeder, who would raise in horses to be war horses and horses of labor. Altivo was the only son of the horse breeder's favorite horse, by the name of Alba, and was taken pretty good care of until he was of age to be trained. He was trained under a certain soilder but altivo felt discontented with this lifestyle, but only did it as he felt he had no other life to lead. When he was finished with training, he was immediately taken in by Cortes, a relatively strict and callous man. While he was not abused by any means, Altivo was not really content with his war horse lifestyle, especially considering he wasn't allowed to eat while on duty. He traveled with Cortes to his new journey to the new world, for the search for gold. He managed to be bribed with a apple thanks to Miguel convincing him to find keys to set him and his friend Tulio free. Altivo helped get the keys and was awaiting his reward, and was annoyed when Miguel seemed to either forget or not be willing to give him his reward.
Feeling he wasn't getting the apple he wanted, Altivo started to bray in protest, which was loud enough to maybe wake up cortes in a certain amount of time. Tulio threw him the apple which shut him up but the apple fell to the ocean. Having no reason to stay on board and wanting his reward, Altivo jumped into the ocean to get it. But then the current of the ocean caused altivo to struggle in the water. Miguel thankfully saved him but the ocean caused him, Miguel and tulio to collide and nearly lose their lifeboat. Thankfully it didn't and the trio eventually made it to a island. This island eventually lead them to El Dorado, a legendary city of gold. Altivo was welcomed in and appreciated, especially by the children of the island who viewed Altivo as a glorified pet. Altivo really liked this place and was even going to stay with Miguel but then discovered Tzeklkhan made a stone jaguar chase down his new masters. Determined to save them, he took them away but nearly got killed. Remembering his war training, he immediately attacked the stone jaguar and then escaped with Chel alive. He then said good bye to tulio as he was about to leave but then Altivo noticed a forest fire which meant Cortes was coming, due to being lead by Tzeklkhan. Altivo assisted Miguel in helping tulio and chel escape, while being forced alongside Miguel to leave El Dorado. He, Miguel, Tulio and Chel all saved El Dorado from destruction and they went off to do other adventures, and eventually return to spain.
One day though Miguel went missing and altivo went to find him. Only to find himself in a new stable with two other horses by the names of Captain and Joey. He agreed to stay if only to protect his friend Miguel from tzeklkhan.
