An Act of Defiance (Open)

Dar couldn't believe it. He was finally free and yet he wasn't. Kyra, Tao and Arina were still trapped in Ask That Guy's Army. Nolt that it mattered. He hadn't seen them in weeks so he had no idea if they were okay. When people began to escape he had said he wasn't going. Only for Johnny Cage to knock him out and take him out by force. He was grateful for the rescue and having his staff back. But at the same time worried for them hoping they were alright.

Johnny didn't regret knocking Dar out and bringing him along. He too had left a friend behind Sonya. But he knew they had to take a chance to escape. Sonya and the others could be rescued but not if they didn't escape and regroup. His only regret was not being able to save Sonya and the others at the time.

John was grateful to be free. He was sad he wasn't going to with Sherlock but hearing of this army he knew he could help more. Plus this army seemed heroic compared to the other two so it could only help. At least he hoped so. And he had brought his wife and others with him. He had wished they could have saved more but he felt lucky they were able to bring who they could.

Harry Kim had followed Jessica, and others to this army and hadn't looked back. They just kept getting people captured and not much was really being done in Critic's army. Not like some of them wanted so they formed this army to do something about it. Having some refugees from toher armies join them as well.

Jessica had only gone because Roger had come with her. She was glad to be here. Sure she'd miss some friends from Critic's army but she saw it more of a friendly competition than at war with Critic's army. Having a second hero army could only help after all.

Mai, and Mira remained silent. The pair had trained together off and on and had developed a friendship of sorts. So they weren't going to leave without the other.

Sarafina had come because Simba, Nala, Timon and Rafiki had joined this one. She'd brought Kovu and Kiara with so the family could be together again. She was glad to see her son-in-law again outside of a battlefield.

Kovu was nervous being here with some former enemies but no one had attacked. And they seemed to be getting along okay. Perhaps things would be better in this new army after all.

Simba nuzzled his wife before going to his daughter and nuzzling her too. He was just glad to be free and with his family. Finally free of that mettalic collar.

Tarzan had come with Jane and many of the others. He heard of La and Lady Waltham being in Ask That Guy's army. He wasn't surprised by La but was hurt Lady Waltham had appeared to return to her evil ways.

Lady Tremaine was silent. But she figured joining this new army could be a great power move. Drizella and Lucas had joined for a better chance and she'd done the same not wanting to leave her daughter.

Lucas was bored but didn't let it show. Not wanting to upset his future mother-in-law. He knew Drizella could be the one and just had to court her properly.

Madellaine was nervous. She'd heard that not just Quasi and Zephyr were here but Esmeralda and Phoebus too. She hadn't seen Quasi or Zephyr since leaving the army. And she hadn't seen Esmeralda or Phoebus since since she'd gotten to this world so it'd be good to see some familiar faces. She heard stories of people coming back f rom the dead so she was hoping to not see Frollo, Sarosuch or their henchmen here.

Madellaine grinned as Esmeralda joined her.

"It certainly has. Quasi and Zephyr are around here somewhere. I think." said Madellaine.

Esmeralda wandered in spotting Madellaine and walked over to her giving her a hug.

"Been awhile hasn't it." Said Esmeralda.

She sighed in relief. She didn't want her son to be here in this war but at the same time she was glad was in the same army as her and not in another one.

Film Brain one of the leaders of this new army smiled and welcomed everyone. He glanced around for his new boyfriend but didn't see him yet in the crowd. So many new people here.

(OCC: Hope you don't mind having kovu and kiara be grossed out by Rafiki's joke but in secret both kiara and kovu want to be a couple. And hope you don't mind nala being jokey about it with simba. Hope it's not too out of character. Also hope you don't mind I also put in huey)

Both Schnitzel and Chowder didn't exactly feel useful or helpful on critic's side. So when tarzan told them of a new army, they felt it was in their best interest to go. Chowder held Scnitzel's hand as he went to the meeting to welcome all their members in. He smiled to film brain, liking him as a leader as opposed to the critic who seemed rather unapproachable and even avoidant of most of the army. Schnitzel then started to speak calmly "Radda, radda, radda"

Chowder, realizing many couldn't understand schnitzel replied "Oh uh tarzan, schnitzel told me to thank you" He then turned to film brain "Oh and thank you too sir for having us"

Mungojerrie and rumpleteaser, like chowder and schnitzel, felt like dead weight in the army. Plus felt that the atg army was becoming crueler than needed. So when film brain and bennett told them of a new army they were happy to escape. Rumpleteaser was fond of bennett and begged her brother to escape with her. Not wanting to abandon his sister, mungojerrie agreed. Especially when film brain promised to not hurt his friend rum tum tugger. He smiled to his sister "Ya alright sis?"

"Yea. Better now we're away" Rumpleteaser replied. She was more relieved than ever now.

Nala nuzzled her husband happily, now that she and him were both freed things would turn up. She then noticed her mother and gave her a relieved nuzzle "Heya mom. I'm glad you're here" She then saw her daughter. Relief and love overcame her and she nuzzled kiara happily. She then turned to kovu and openly welcomed him "Hey kovu, why don't you sit near us huh?" She then allowed kiara and kovu to sit next to each other. Then she snickered as Rafiki joked. She turned to simba with a knowing look, whispering to him "Remember when we thought that was gross. Times have changed huh?" She smiled more to her husband, relieved to have her family all in the same place.

"We're free baby! Ha thank heavens! We're free oh yeah! Time to celebrate!" Timon was beyond estatic to no longer be a slave. Thanks to film brain, bennett and both simba and nala's efforts they were freed. Nala had been captured a while ago thanks to scar but now their escape managed to bring them all together. Along with kiara and kovu here thanks to bennett allowing simba to pick his daughter and his daughter's friend up. Timon then smiled a bit as nala welcomed kovu to sit by them. Timon then rolled his eyes as Rafiki joked about a romance. Timon sighed "What is it with lions and this need to betrothe people"

He then hugged simba though, delighted to see his friend freed. He replied whispering to simba "Not to be sappy but I'm glad you're freed, bud" He then turned to film brain and bennett as bennett spoke.

Rafiki was glad to be freed. No more metallic collar. No more slavehood. No more need to be with scar or zira. He was gone from that as was his friend's son and family. He was relieved. He turned to bennett as he said he was positive people were relieved to be away. Rafiki replied "Indeed. Thanks to your quick thinking and film brain's we are now safe" He then gave a bow to both nala and simba. Then smiled as kiara and kovu were closer together thanks to nala. He then joked "Ah. Young love. Soon betrothal like the king before yes?" He then cackled a little at the children's reaction along with timon's.

Kiara was not hesitant in the slightest to go with her family. Sure she had friends, but kovu, her parents and grandmother were more worth it to her. They were her family who she loved to her core. Kiara nuzzled simba back, relieved to see her father again. As last time her mother got captured and her father was taken away. Kiara muttered softly to simba "I'm glad you're okay daddy" She then saw her mother and nuzzled her too, then beamed as nala welcomed kovu to sit by them. She then made a disgusted face at Rafiki's joke "Rafiki, don't be gross!" But she then gave a somewhat affectionate, blushing look to kovu.

Atka, Denahi, J. Daniel Atlas and Falstaff all were relieved in their own ways. They were all freed from their previous armies and all were glad to escape. J. Daniel didn't want to be in that army as he felt it was inconsistent and Falstaff felt unsafe in said army. Both Atka and Denahi knew each other thanks to kenai and were both relieved they didn't really have to fight him anymore. They weren't in the critic's army but this was the next best thing.

Mary went to John, quickly giving a hug in public now that she didn't really have to hide her emotions anymore. She was a bit overwhelmed with relief as she gratefully looked to film brain and bennett, tears of joy in her eyes. She hugged john and whispered to him "We're free john. I'm so glad to be away from that madman. And I'm so glad you gave me the bravery to escape"

Jane, meanwhile, was far less overwhelmed. She was, however, saddened that lady Waltham betrayed them. But it seemed tarzan took it to heart more than she did. She went to comfort her husband with a small kiss on the cheek, and a quick hug. Jane tried to comfort him by replying "It'll be alright tarzan. I'm sure lady Waltham can be reasoned with again. But at least we will be okay here"

Roger knew his wife wasn't safe at critic's. Many people managed to get captured in his army. Many people trusted him but not roger. Especially not for the safety of his wife. He managed to convince her to leave with him, thankful that his wife trusted him so much. Roger was also glad to be here with some of his friends. One of them being tarzan. He happily joined his wife, holding her hand with a affectionate squeeze.

Drizella, like lucas, was immensely bored. But she was glad to at least be away from facilier's army. She was resentful of the leaders due to lack of decision making for her, her mother and lucas. Thanks to her boyfriend, drizella agreed to leave for a better chance. She also told her mother, refusing to abandon her mother like Anastasia did. She was relieved her mother was more than happy to go too. She went beside both her mother and lucas, giving them affectionate smiles. She wouldn't admit it, but drizella feared a lot of members in facilier's army.

Quasimodo had happily agreed to leave when madellaine told him about escaping. He never liked the army and felt it was unsafe for him, madellaine and especially zephyr. He adored that boy and took his godfather role quite seriously. He saw both his girlfriend and old friend converse. With a joyful face he went over to madellaine and sighed in relief, hugging her "Madeline. I lost you in the chaos of escaping so glad you're okay" He then smiled as zephyr happily reunited with his parents. He smiled at the display, relieved to see the boy safe. He then went over to phoebus and Esmerelda, giving them both hugs. "It's good to see you phoebus" He replied then beaming at Esmerelda "I'm so glad to see you Esmerelda, it's been a while"

Zephyr was more than happy to escape, as was his new friend Huey. Huey went over near tarzan as zephyr reunited with his parents. Huey was new to everything, as he had been a recent member of ATG but befriended only zephyr. He was glad that madeline happily allowed zephyr to help him out. But now huey was somewhat alone, he missed his uncles and aunt terribly. And especially was missing his brothers. But he smiled as his friend reunited with his parents.

Zephyr noticed Madellaine and quasi, happy to see them. But then his happiness with them became joy at the sight of both his mother and father. He grinned from ear to ear, excusing himself from huey. He then replied in joy "Mama! Mama you're here! You're actually here!" He raced to hug his mother, and once he hugged her, some relief came over him. He replied "I knew you were okay!" He then let go of her but then caught sight of his father. He jumped before hugging his father "Dad! Dad you're here!"

Phoebus only agreed to join this army because his wife insisted madellaine was confirmed to be here. He could only hope this meant his son and quasi were here too. He followed his wife, smiling to her joking to both ladies "Well nice to see you two are getting cozy so quickly" He then hugged his wife to indicate he was joking. He then smiled to madellaine "It's good to see you madellaine" He then noticed Quasimodo and hugged him back "Good to see you too pal, been a while"

He then widened his eyes at the sight of his son. On one hand he didn't enjoy his son being in war, on the other he was ecstatic to see his only son. He then picked his son up and hugged him tightly "There you are! My main man, I've been worried sick about you!" He held his son for a while, more relieved than he wanted to show. He then let his son go and replied "I'm so glad you're safe zephyr"

Bennett finally got everything arranged as he officially made the down payment on the mansion. He found this place was perfect to stay in, and would be a good breeding ground for both science and magic thanks to his research. While film brain was settling everyone down, he got his planner and went down to meet everyone. He went right to film brain, giving him a affectionate kiss before replying kindly "Alright! Can I get everyone's attention please!" He then nodded when he got said attention "Alright we clearly can breathe a sigh of relief since some of us were imprisoned but now you're free. I want to assure you we won't ever let you guys be not free ever again. So rest assured you guys are officially part of this team and I'm extremely grateful" He then checked his planner before smiling to his group "I want to thank each and every one of you for being here. I know this is a strange time for everyone but I myself promise will make sure you're all taken care of"
