Goodbye, So Soon (Drako)

(ooc: July 24th. Morning. Couldn't resist a drunken Ratigan who things he goofed things up while Draco might be more amused Ratigan was jealous. xD)

Ratigan sighed in frustration. Ever since he'd shown up here Lucas had nearly killed him. But he hadn't blamed the boy. He was only defending himself and had impressed him. He made sure to have Lucas on his side thinking he'd be a good ally to have. And he ended up spending a lot of his free time with Moriarty, Fat Cat, Yuki, and Drako. He never thought he'd like another cat besides Felicia but Fat Cat had his own sense of style. And Drako he'd grown a bit too fond of the dragon.

Last night he'd threatened Galen for spending too much time with him only to learn Galen just wanted another friend as it had been so long since he'd seen another reptile. He'd been embarrassed and had fled to his room. Surely Drako had heard by now and he'd never really had a good friend before. He'd had minions including Fidget, Felicia and his men. But Drako he'd start to develop some feelings for. And he'd let his temper and pride get in the way. He wouldn't be surprised if the dragon wanted nothing to do with him.

"Another fine mess. And for once I can't blame it on my minions or Basil. I'm going to miss him." said Ratigan.

He sighed walking to the kitchen and pouring himself a glass of wine to drown his sorrows.

[Drako]

(OCC: All good! Yeah drako would definitely be amused lmao. Drako would also be like determined to let ratigan know his chance wasn't missed)

Ratigan was indeed correct that Drako heard about the drama between galen and ratigan. And he knew this because galen explained the situation to him. Drako however, despite ratigan's assumptions, wasn't offended or hurt by this drama. If anything, the whole situation amused him. He had his suspicions ratigan was interested in him, and he was actually quite pleased it was confirmed. Because Drako felt similar. The dragon couldn't blame the rodent exactly for his feelings, if anything he felt he would've done the same thing if anyone was getting too close to ratigan for drako's liking. Drako told galen he would fix the situation and told the snake like creature that it was just a misunderstanding. Galen, being surprisingly forgiving, agreed and allowed drako to handle it.

Drako went to ratigan to be open about his mutual attraction but he also went to hopefully convince ratigan not to be so worried about this. It wasn't really that big of a deal. There were very few things, contrary to his reputation for being a feisty spirit, that angered drako. The dragon saw Ratigan drown his sorrows with wine, and drako forced his amusement down seeing as ratigan took this quite seriously. Drako slowly approached ratigan and replied calmly "Mistakes happen, Ratigan. People who never make them, never learn or improve" He then relaxed in his chair replying "It was a misunderstanding. Galen has no hard feelings and neither do I. I would've done the same thing to be quite honest with you" He then took a empty glass and asked politely "Mind if I have a glass?"

Ratigan looked up seeing Draco.

"Hello Draco." replied Ratigan.

He took another sip of wine and then gasped nearly choking at the other's words.

"Yes, a misunderstanding. That's all it was." said Ratigan.

He calmed himself not expecting Draco to show up or surprise him like that.

"Same thing?" asked Ratigan, puzzled.

He nodded.

"Of course." said Ratigan.

He poured some wine into the glass for him and stopped about halfway.

"If you want some more you can add it. I don't like to fill it too much because it could spill. And I don't like wasting a good wine like this one." replied Ratigan.
