If Only You Knew How I Felt (Sage)

[Film Brain]

(ooc: July 14th. Morning.)

Film Brain made his wage to their room. With members coming nearly every day ropm arrangements were often switched around. So now he was sharing a room with Sage. On one hand, it was great as he hardly got to see his old friend since coming to this war. On the other, it made him nervous as his buried feelings were back and he didn't spend this much time with Sage. Even with Crossovers, and conventions, there were others to hang out with. He sighed hoping he could just adjust to this and not offend or upset Sage.

As he opened the door he sighed in relief seeing it was empty. He saw a box on the desk with what meager possessions he had here. He guessed it had been moved here. He took a look at the box looking at a picture of the brawl, Kickassia, and the recently space adventures. He smiled as he came across Sage's picture in the group.

"If only I could tell how I feel." said Film Brain.

It was then the door slammed as he looked up seeing Sage.

"Sage! When did you get here?" asked Film Brain, nervously.

There was no denying that he and film brain were good friends. But there was also no denying that there was something different that always went on between him and film brain. Sage was mad at film brain for being so loyal to critic during kickassia but learned to forgive him more it. Maybe it was because he believed film brain was in love with him and not with sage, which of course made him jealous. But Sage realized it was better to be someone's friend then to be angry with him and forced his feelings down. But the more he forced them down, the more obvious it became. It became a stalemate when they went to space. And film brain forced himself to risk his life to find answers. Sage would never have forgiven himself if film brain was hurt, thankfully ma-ti made up for it. But the events made sage recollect and realize he had to let film brain know.

Then this whole war happened. Which forced his feelings down again in favor of serving nella. But his mind was his own and it wandered with all these regrets of not spending more time with film brain during said war. He was absolutely astounded when nella announced that the two of them were finally going to share a room together. This was a perfect way to bond better and even maybe get film brain to know his feelings. Sage then realized he actually had to TELL him and so sage went to their shared room to find him. He then went to open the door to see film brain there, looking at the picture of them back when they were celebrating after the space plot hole event. He then heard film brain reply to himself he wished sage knew what he felt.

Wait. What? What... did this mean.. what he thought it meant? He accidentally slammed the door, making his presence known and replied calmly "I just got here" He then smiled softly "I'm glad you're here film brain. Cause I need to talk to you" He then went closer to the younger man, looking at the picture with fondness before turning to film brain calmly "You know. I've wanted to say this to you for years but was just... not able to" He turned to film brain again, looking at the other man's face with tenderness and replied "But I am able to be honest now" He then replied, fondly "I really like you film brain. I always have. I always will. I can't ignore these feelings I have for you anymore" He held film brain's hands and then replied, asking softly "Can I kiss you?"

Film Brain relaxed a little as he said he just got here. Maybe he hadn't heard what he just said.

"You want to talk?" asked Film Brain, curious.

Film Brain was curious as Sage spoke again.

"You want to say what?" asked Film Brain.

He was shocked as Sage admitted his feelings to him.

"I thought I was the only one who felt this way." said Film Brain.

He paused as Sage took his hands and he nodded.

"Yes." said Film Brain.

He paused pinching his arm and winced.

"Well, this is definitely not a dream. Although this might be better than the ones I've had." said Film Brain.

He paused realizing he said that out loud and blushed.

Sage nodded to Film Brain's questions and relatively ignored the other man's nervousness. Due to the fact he was too focused on what to say. He replied sincerely and honestly as Film Brain confessed feeling similar "Film Brain, I wanted to tell you sooner, I was scared I guess. I thought you deserved more than someone like me. But I can't lie to myself anymore. I want to be with you. If you'll allow me"

He then widened his smile as Film Brain gave him consent to kiss. He chuckled, pulling Film Brain closer, replying "This is no dream. Trust me" He then gently, and carefully, pulled Film Brain in for a tender kiss. Sage wanted to pour all his feelings into this. He kissed Film Brain tenderly, holding him close, unwilling to let go. He hoped Film Brain felt his love through this kiss.

[Film Brain]

Film Brain grinned.

"I'm glad everything's out in the open now." replied Film Brain.

His grin grew at the other's words as he kissed him. Film Brain returned the kiss eagerly as he wrapped his own arms around the other. He only pulled back eventually to breathe and grinned.

"Defintely worth waiting for." said Film Brain.
