Something To Prove (Open)

Rex was confused as he came near the house. The last thing he remembered was walking around town looking for food.

"Hello? Is someone here?" asked Rex.

His stomach growled as he tried to smell something to eat.

Madellaine was confused as she walked around. Only to spot a puppy. She heard it talk and was confused. But after seeing three talking gargoyles, talking animals didn't seem as odd.

"Hello little one. I'm Madellaine." said Madellaine.

She then saw two lions and stepped back nervously.

"Lions! Oh my." said Madellaine.

Nuka yawned as he got up. He looked around in confusion.

"This isn't the Outlands. Or the Pridelands. Where am I? Maybe this was where mother, Vitani and that little termite Kovu were sent to ." said Nuka.

He paused seeing Scar and grinned.

"Father! You're alive!?" said Nuka.

Scar walked out hearing voices spotting a girl, a puppy and his son. While Nuka hadn't been his first choice for an heir Vitani was still too young. And Kovu was on Critic's army. It appeared Kovu didn't have what it took like he first thought. Which meant he might need to make Nuka his heir after all.

"Well hello, my son. I thought you'd be here sooner. Zira and Vitani are here. Although I haven't seen Vitani in a while." said Scar.

Scar chuckled.

"Yes. This place tends to bring people back from the dead." said Scar.

[Zira]

(OCC: Will introduce quasi and zephyr later. I know zira is like a one track mind but at the same time I'd like to make her overall sympathetic and be a loving parent to all three kids somewhat. So that's why I kind of write her the way I do. Also I'm assuming patch and rex don't know each other right now due to rex being on his own for a while so it's a best introduction as any)

Zira had heard news, factual news, that her youngest son not only was against the army she was part of. But was in alliance with Simba's daughter and wife. While there was the mother in her that would always love kovu, the disappointment and anger overclouded it. If she was honest, it felt like a genuine betrayal. She had told kovu the things she did to protect him from the dangers of simba and his family. But seeing him ignore it was like kovu risking his life. Well, he was a child maybe he could be reasoned with again. If not, then at least she had her loyal daughter. A part of her, as much as she despised to admit it, had been feeling a lot of regret and embarrassment for comparing her eldest son to her youngest. Nuka had the right mindset but kovu was destined by scar, and herself, to be the heir. But now the news of his refusal to go to them made her realize that kovu just wasn't meant to be. She'd try to consider her eldest and convince her mate to give nuka a chance. That is if he was here.

She heard voices, one that struck extremely familiar talking to scar. And it was as if their future as well as regrets had come forth. She felt a bit of joy, but also a bit of concern. Zira came forth and looked nuka up and down in shock before replying, surprised "Nuka? Is that... Is that you?" She looked unconcerned to madeline and rex, completely disregarding them as others did that for her before turning to her eldest son and smiled slightly "It's good to see you my son"

Loki felt obligated at the moment since he was nearby. He turned to see patch follow him but he overall focused on all three as opposed to just one. He turned to all three and replied "Ah, we seem to have new arrivals. Welcome. My name is Loki. And you're welcome to stay here" He then turned to see patch address rex while zira and scar addressed who seemed to be their son. He couldn't help but notice nuka and zira's dynamic and it felt very similar to his with odin and his heart went out a little to nuka. He then noticed Annabelle address them also.

Annabelle felt a bit sorry for the blonde woman. She seemed new and frightened somewhat. She felt a need to befriend and welcome in her own way. She allowed loki to address them before she replied with a friendly wave "Bonjour you all. I'm Annabelle. Make yourselves comfy. There's plenty of room" She then turned to madeline and offered her hand to her "Hello to you, mon ami. It's a pleasure to meet you"

Patch sniffed curiously as loki and Annabelle went off to greet them. But patch was focused on a scent of a dog. At first he assumed it was yet another one of his siblings but was pleasantly surprised to see it was not. The pup wasn't exactly familiar to him but patch felt a strange, but pleasant, emotion go through him. He felt butterflies in his stomach and felt as if his heart was pounding. He never felt this way before but he liked it. He went over to rex and replied with a tender, friendly smile "Hey there. I'm Patch. Welcome to the group. You probably should come in" He then heard rex's stomach. He then replied insistently "You gotta be hungry. There's plenty of dog food here. We got special biscuits and kanine krunchies if you want. I can help you get them if ya want"

[Nuka]

Nuka smiled at seeing Zira. Scar was right she was here. Which meant Vitani probably was too.

"Mother! It's so good to see you again." said Nuka.

He smiled glad to see both of his parents. He hadn't gotten to know his father well before he died. He'd still been a young cub when that happened.

Scar smiled at seeing Nuka reunite with Zira. If only Vitani and Kovu were here then their family would be complete. But he was still glad to see Nuka here.

"Hello Zira. I'm glad you could make it." said Scar.

Rex smiled at the other dog.

"Hello Patch. I'm Rex. " said Rex.

He blushed at his stomach growling.

"You have food here? " asked Rex.

Madellaine paused at Annabelle and smiled.

"Hello, Annabelle. And thank you." said Madellaine.

She turned to Loki and smiled.

"Thank you sir. I'm still not sure how I got here." said Madellaine.
