(OCC: June 25th, afternoon)
Patton since the day he met Liz felt bubbly and fuzzier than normal. And he knew why. He felt such a strong love for iron liz more than he loved anyone before. So he decided to absolutely do something about it. Since he met her he decided to practically shower her with gifts. Hoping his actions would explain to her better than his words of how he felt. He made a whole batch of cookies, cupcakes and donuts last night, hoping she would at least like one of the things he made. If she didn't want to eat them all he'd happily give it away but he prayed that the thought would count or at least the effort would. He ignored roman's advice on that, saying women preferred flowers as opposed to food but patton believed people didn't care about that as long as the effort of care was in there. So he brought the aforementioned basket of goods and knocked on liz's door. Patton replied "Liz. Oh liz! It's patton! Can I talk to you for a minute please?"
Iron Liz paused hearing a knock on the door. She opened it spotting Patton and the basket. She had been one of the newer reviewers coming into the war. Linkara and the others had helped her catch up on the basics and there were still people appearing in all 3 armies quite frequently. But Patton had been someone that fascinated her.
"Hello, Patton. So are you on your way to Grandma's house? You might want to keep an eye out for hungry wolves." said Iron Liz, with a smirk.

"Oh they're not for my grandma they're for you!" Patton replied naively. Only to blush in quick realization that she was being somewhat sarcastic. Patton chuckled nervously "Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was a joke, I get silly sometimes" He then nervously handed the goods over to liz and replied "I know it's a lot. I just didn't really know what you liked. So I decided to try all the flavors. If you don't like any of them I can easily give them to the others and make even more for you of stuff that you do like"
Patton beamed brightly to her, hoping she would take this gift as not only a good gesture but as a token of patton's affection. He then realized he did need to be specific so liz wouldn't get the wrong idea. He gave a nervous reply, smiling shyly "I am willing to make anything for you liz. Because I really care about what you want. I want to make you happy. I care about you. I know this is sudden but it's how I feel. I hope I didn't upset you"

Patton blushed a bit more as Liz assured him not getting the joke was okay. Patton did feel a bit dumb that he didn't always get the joke. He tended to get dad jokes and puns a lot but more sutbler jokes was more roman's expertise. Speaking of which, he wished roman was here to be his wing man. But roman insisted he had to do it his own way at this point. He then listened as liz praised him for his baking "Oh it takes a lot of practice. I almost set my oven on fire when I started baking. You get better at it"
"Whatever you don't like do whatever you want with them! It is YOUR gift after all. And whatever you do like let me know so I can make more for you if you want!" Patton replied joyfully. He was glad liz accepted his gift and found herself willing to try his baking. Any type of positive response was satisfactory for patton. He was easy going like that. He then blushed as liz pointed out that they met recently "Well we didn't talk much but when we did it was brief. It's because I was so shy. I didn't know how else to talk. I get nervous sometimes"
When liz asked why would she be upset he responded honestly "Because I know it's very sudden. We haven't talked much. But I would very, very much like to get to know you. Spend time with you. Date you know? I mean that is if you want. I care about you iron liz. I know it's sudden to say love but I definitely have feelings for you. You're brave, strong, intelligent, nice, beautiful. I promise if you give me a chance I won't let you down" Patton replied, blushing red now that his feelings were very much out there now.
"Almost set your oven on fire? That takes real talent." said Iron Liz.
Iron Liz nodded.
"I doubt I could eat all of them anyway. They all look so good. You know if you really like cooking maybe you could help cookout for the army once and awhile. As far as I know some of us usually just grab sandwiches or cook small things. But Brock and Mrs. Potts are two of our main chefs. If there are others I haven't met them yet. But an army this big the more chefs we have the better. That is if you want to help out." said Iron Liz.
Iron Liz shrugged.
"I guess we did. There are so many people popping in almost every day lately I've probably met others I can't remember. Or at least not their names. But I'm glad to meet you again." said Iron Liz.
Iron Liz chuckled.
"I guess it's sudden but that is a bold move. And it is flattering you cooked all of this too. Most would just get flowers or chocolates but you took time to make all of this. That means a lot." said Iron Liz.
She smiled as he spoke again.
"Well we still barely know each other so perhaps we should go out on a date to learn more. I want to give this a try." said Iron Liz.
She paused with a grin.
"Want to have a picnic with some of the things you made? We could eat in the backyard perhaps?" said Iron Liz.

"It's a long story having to do with a dare and a couple of kids. Don't ask, it's a awkward situation" Patton awkwardly explained. He didn't like his first time cooking, all that mattered was that he was good at it now. At least he thought so. He then beamed a bit as iron liz wisely suggested if he enjoyed cooking, he could help cook. Patton did enjoy cooking so he saw no reason why not. He replied cheerfully "You're absolutely right! I didn't realize we had a lack of kitchen staff. I'd be happy to help! Patton The Chef is officially declaring himself open for business. I'll be helping out soon!" He then replied about iron liz's situation to possibly not being able to finish "I guess I did get carried away. Whatever you don't like or finish I'll give to the rest of the army maybe"
"I'm glad too. It's really understandable you didn't remember me. A lot of people come by definitely" Patton agreed. It was fair she didn't remember. He understood perfectly. He then smiled widely as iron liz appreciated his gift "Oh it was nothing really. I just wanted to give you something to show how I think you're swell" He smiled more, glad she was not finding him creepy or weird for doing this. He then nodded "Yes a date should work. I wanna give this a try too" He then nodded as iron liz suggested a picnic "Picnic? I love picnics. I love a lot of things though. Let's take some of this and I'll grab some sandwichs from the fridge and we can go to the backyard!" He then took the gift and went downstairs, awaiting patiently for liz to follow. He hoped this date would make her give him more chances. He hoped this would start out something
"Now you got me curious but I won't pry." said Iron Liz.
Iron Liz grinned.
"Great. I think more of us should help out that can. I'd not that much of a cook but I can cook some things." said Iron Liz.
She chuckled.
"Better to have leftovers than run out I suppose." said Iron Liz.
Iron Liz nodded.
"Well, I'll definitely remember you now. Not just anyone bakes something for someone and so much. You could probably start your own bake sale with all of this." said Iron Liz.
Iron Liz grinned.
"And I appreciate it." said Iron Liz.
She nodded again.
"Yep. We might want to find a blanket perhaps. Even if we sit on the porch it'd feel more like a picnic with a blanket." said Iron Liz.
