Bella Notte (Moriarty)

(May 28th. Evening.)

Jason was nervous as he put the last finishing touches on his surprise. He had gone a bit overboard preparing several dishes for Moriarty. He wasn't sure what he liked so had made practically a small feast. He was dressed up in a red dress shirt and blue dress pants. He had talked some of the others into helping him make this meal, getting the clothes and distracting him. But Moriarty should be back soon. He heard the door open and Jason grinned hoping it was Moriarty.

"Surprise! I made this all myself with some help. I hope you like it." said Jason.

He stood there nervously hoping Moriarty would like his surprise.

Moriarty was a tad confused when a few of the members distracted him from his usual business. Tom and Jerry and a few others actually were delaying him with personal dilemnas that they felt moriatty could solve. The cat and mouse made sure he was staying in the lab area where he worked while a couple other people talked to him about the day and other pointless ventures. Eventually he got annoyed and demanded both the mouse and cat let him through. They did reluctinately but by that point jason was dressed up and there was quite a dinner set up. The cat and mouse ran off laughing while some other members gave knowing looks and thumbs up before giving jason a good luck expression. Moriarty couldn't help but smile at jason's kindness and thoughtfulness.

He went over to jason as he began to talk and pulled him in for a quick hug and kiss. The older man replied softly "Like it? I adore it. It's absolutely delightful" He then smiled at the display "So this is why everyone was acting so strange, how very nice. You're absolutely thoughtful jason thank you"

Jason grinned as Moriarty said he liked it.

"Thank you. I worked very hard at this. I never really cooked before but I had a lot of help." said Jason.

He chuckled.

"Some of them aren't exactly subtle I suppose. I'm just glad I could surprise you." said Jason.

He sat down sitting next to Moriarty as the chairs were placed closely together.

"Let's dig in before it gets cold." said Jason.

"The effort is seen and definitely appreciated" Moriarty assuredly responded. He knew jason probably worked hard, as evident in the way it looked. It looked pretty professional all things considered. He then shrugged indifferently as jason admitted they were not subtle. That was putting it mildly but moriarty was just glad it was all explained now. Moriarty smiled to jason, affectionately holding his hand "You definitely gave me a pleasant and wonderful surprise" He then kissed jason once more before sitting down next to him.

He then proceeded to try some of jason's meal. Moriarty gave a approving hum before replying "This is excellent jason. You should cook more often" He wanted to make jason feel good but he was also being genuinely honest. He found the food, while not the most pretty looking, definitely delicious. He found himself eating a bit more as he said this.

Jason smiled at Moriarty's words.

"I'm glad you like it." said Jason.

He returned Moriarty's kiss with a grin. He'd missed him with all these preparations. And there was also the fact he wanted to spend more time with Moriarty so this date was for both of them.

He blushed at the praise, but he was pleased.

"Thank you. I just followed the recipe. But I think I'll only cook for you. Everyone else can get take-out or cook themselves." said Jason.

He grinned as he started eating as well, surprised by how good it was. He definitely would try cooking some more.

Moriarty kept enjoying the environment. Especially since he was spending time with Jason. Jason was one of the few people moriarty found himself enjoying company time with. He smiled as Jason confessed he followed only the recipe and that was it "Well you certainly did well following it. It is genuinely well prepared. I would enjoy my meals more often if it was made by you alone. But I think it tastes much nicer especially considering it came from you" He then smiled some more and boldly gave Jason a tender, grateful kiss.

"Your thoughtfulness is evident my love. You make me feel like a king" Moriarty confessed, smiling affectionately towards Jason. He wanted Jason to know he appreciated and acknowledged his thoughtful dinner.

Jason smiled at the praise and found himself hissing. He blushed realizing what he was doing. Being part snake was still so new to him but it made him feel like he had to provide for his mate er boyfriend. And cooking was definitely a way he could do that.

"Thanks. I'm glad you like it." said Jason.

Jason nodded as his grin grew.

"To me you are a king." said Jason.
