Making A House Call (Open)

[Monsieur Antoine D'Arque]

(May 17th. Morning.)

Monsieur D'Arque was confused as he walked around not sure how he'd gotten here.

"What is this place? Where am I?" asked D'Arque.

He then turned hearing a voice and seeing the fangs gasped and ran to the closest door. Ask That Guy's house.

D'Arque froze at the man's warning and when he boasted that his speed was enough he wouldn't even have made it he relaxed just a little. The vampire could have attacked him any time and didn't even have to warn him. He'd never even seen a vampire before. They were just creatures of legends. Myths. And it seemed just as confused as he was. It should at least be burning with the sunlight but nothing was happening.

"How odd. A vampire that can come out in the daylight. This is very strange." said D'Arque.

Jared saw the old man was as puzzled as he was. He didn't know what had happened or why he could know be in the sunlight. He should be burned to a crisp by now but he guessed something was different about this place and he wasn't in the same world.

"I don't know where we are either." said Jared.

The man heard him and ran as Jared realized he was still in his vamped out look. He resumed his human face and followed him slowly.

"Look sir I'm not going to hurt you. Believe me if I wanted to you wouldn't have made it to that door." said Jared.

He nodded.

"I don't understand it either. Most of my vampire friends were killed shortly before I got here. Wherever this is. Perhaps we could explore this new world together." said Jared.

[Lampwick Marquis]

Both Lampwick and Cassidy were getting used to the area around them. Cassidy was making as many friends as he could while Lampwick stuck pretty close to Pinnochio. However the two felt the need to make themselves comfortable so they were just minding their own business when suddenly not one but two new people arrived. Cassidy was first to make a impression by hearing what Jared said and replied "Ya ain't burning cause ya body's in a new world. How it ain't burning you yet does for me I got no damn clue but I guess it don't matter" He offered his hand to the new pair "Name's Cassidy. Welcome to Ask Thatguy's army. You're welcome ta stay"

Lampwick was a bit unnerved to D'Arque, mostly because he was similar to the coachman. But he was skinnier and far less overweight, so Lampwick did his best to assume courage. Lampwick rose his head high and offered his hand to the older man "I'm Lampwick, you're welcome to stay like Cassidy said"

[Monsieur Antoine D'Arque]

Monseiur D'Arque relaxed seeing another man and a boy come out. He wasn't sure if the vampire was indeed friendly but at least he had others who could help him.

"So this is another world? How curious." said D'Arque.

He also looked puzzled at the mention of an army.

"Army? Ask That Guy? Perhaps you could explain what's going on." said D'Arque.

He smiled at the pair realizing they introduced themselves.

"I am Antoine D'Arque or as I'm more commonly known Monsieur D'Arque. Pleased to meet both of you. I was a doctor in my world who treated insane patients and tried to cure them. Sadly some all I could do was keep them locked up so they couldn't hurt anyone including themselves." said D'Arque.

He heard the vampire introduce himself and nodded to him. He wanted information but names were important too.

Jared looked puzzled seeing the pair arrive.

"Another world? I guess that explains the not burning in sunlight." said Jared.

He paused looking odd at the mention of army.

"Army? What's going on?" asked Jared, confused.

He also realized they were introductions.

"Cassidy, Lampwick and Antoine. Got it. I'm Jared. Jared Morrison." said Jared.

For not having a single nose, Mr. Monitor could be quite nosy.

The big TV man moved toward the front door. Four glowing screens expressed looks of disdain. Mr. Monitor certainly wasn’t a very welcoming figure, although he tried to offer an explanation in his own way;

“It would seem more and more are drawn into this conflict every day,” he grumbled, before raising his brows, “Hello. Hah hah. You’re caught up in a fight for control. All sorts are brought here against their will. As far as I see it, you can seek refuge with us, or, well, I suppose we’ll have to be enemies.”

Butters had been avoiding coming out of his room lately. Big crowds made him nervous and he’d rather not risk making someone upset. But, suddenly feeling more confident than usual, the little blond boy trotted up behind the monitor man. Butters had been listening and felt the need to interfere. He frowned before brushing the side of Mr. Monitor’s suit in an attempt to be able to see out the door.

“Howdy!” Butters said, “Hey, I p-promise not everyone’s scary here. Cross my heart!”

[Lampwick Marquis]

Cassidy smiled softly at the sight of butters, finding his behavior quite cute. He then nodded at what Mr. Monitor said and replied "Aye. Long story short, there's some transporter that brought the lot of us here. Science or something made it and transported the lot of us to this place called Chicago. And what's worse is everybody's fighting to keep this piece of land for some reason. And there's like two armies against us. We're just tryin' to let people get back home safely" He then scratched his head to Jared's demands "Listen mate, I'm just as confused as you are" He then smiled to Antoine and Jared as they introduced themselves. He then nodded as Antoine explained his profession "Well I guess whatever brings bread on the table. For me, I'm lucky to stay alive. What with me being hunted down cause I'm a vampire" Cassidy then remembered this guy was around crazy people and replied "I know what you're tinkin' 'oh no I'm with another crazy lad' but I'm honestly a vampire if ya want me to prove it"

Lampwick looked over to Butters and smiled to him before nodding "What this kid said, we're pretty alright people. As long as you ain't a enemy" He then turned to Antoine and listened to him explain his profession. He could think of some people who deserved to be locked up in a insane asylum but he held his tongue. He then widened his eyes as Jared and Cassidy explained they were vampires "You're a vampire, gee. I thought that was just a story my pop made up to get me to behave and go to school. Vampires are real?" He then got a little nervous, protectively going in front of Butters in case "You... You don't eat bad kids do you?"

[Monsieur Antoine D'Arque]

Monsieur D'Arque looked more odd as the tv man and a boy came to join him.

"What on earth is that?" asked D'Arque.

He'd never even seen a television before so a living one was even more odd to him.

He smiled at the pair.

"I am Monsieure Antoine D'Arque." said D'Arque.

Hearing about the war he frowned.

"Then I'll have to step aside from the fighting. I wasn't much of a fighter in my youth to begin with and now I'm too old to be of much good. I was a doctor in my world so perhaps I could help like that here." said D'Arque.

Jared blinked glancing at the old man.

"You've never seen a television before? Although usually they don't move or talk on their own." said Jared.

He smiled at Mr. Monitor and Butters.

"Hello. I'm Jared." said Jared.

He glanced up at Cassidy

"So we're pulled to another world to fight in a war? Sounds more interesting than what I was doing before. Count me in." said Jared.

He paused glancing at Cassidy at the mention of a vampire.

"You're a vampire too? That is great. I was worried I might be the only one here." said Jared.

He shook his head.

"No I would never harm either of you. Kids wouldn't have enough blood to sustain me at least. They'd be more of like a snack. And besides we are allies and I wouldn't dream of harming an ally." said Jared.

[Hun]

(OCC: Hope you don't mind Hun and Yubaba jumping in)

"Ya don't have to fight. You can just be part of the medical team or something. We have some people here who can't or don't fight" Cassidy replied, smiling in slight amusement as Antoine and Jared showed interest in Mr. Monitor. He then focused a little on Jared again as the vampire asked more questions "Well glad you're in. So yeah, we all were put here to become members of a war" He then laughed as Jared was relieved he wasn't the only one "You? The only one? No need to worry ya head on tat. Me and you are pretty much the same"

He then turned to Hun and Yubaba. Yubaba especially, since she was quite literally in his face. Addressing both of them, he smirked replying with a interested grin "Well ta answer both of you. You're in a new world and the place you in is Chicago. You both have been sent here to be part of a war thanks to some science nonsense. We'll get ya home safely but until then, best ya stick with us" He then turned to Hun who asked more questions, particularly of what was in it for him if he thought. Cassidy shrugged "Um, you don't die? And ya can get home? That sounds pretty much the fair price. Or if you wanna stay, ya get paid" He then smirked softly as Hun accepted the idea of money, whereas Yubaba just accepted the idea of not dying.

Lampwick gave a evident sigh of relief when Jared said he wouldn't harm children. He did catch that he wasn't substantial but hey, if jared wasn't going to hurt him, tibbits like that didn't matter. The boy replied softly "Whew. Thank goodness. I always thought vampires just killed kids who smoked and misbehaved. Glad my pop was wrong about that" He then turned to see two very different people arrive. Hun didn't really interesting. Yubaba on the other hand was. Lampwick got a little too close for comfort and as Yubaba screamed at him, he replied with shock "N-nothing miss!" He then was told to leave her alone and he did so, running behind Jared out of instinct.

Yubaba was beyond upset. That was for sure. She was so upset, some steam was coming out of her ears. She saw the group and immediately decided to complain to them. Angry, she confronted Cassidy who seemed to be in charge and replied "Hey! You! Do you have any idea what I'm doing here?! I've been walking for hours!" Not exactly true but Yubaba was the master of exaggeration "I have a life you know, I can't just stay here with no idea where I'm going. I need answers!" She then noticed Lampwick staring at her and yelled "What are you looking at?!" When lampwick said nothing, she replied annoyedly "Good, now do yourself a favor and get out of my sight, I have things to worry about" She nodded with satisfaction as the child left. She then nodded as Cassidy explained then Hun asked questions. When she heard she would not die here, she nodded "As long as I'm protected and get back home, I'll stay here. My name is Yubaba"

Hun was a bit confused. What else was new. He's been used to being confused ever since meeting the turtles. He only hoped he would get answers for suddenly appearing in what appeared to be chicago. He heard a old woman yelling, and he decided that this group was the best he could come up with. He was a bit shocked with a moving TV man but it was nothing compared to mutants so he decided to worry about that later. He piped up and replied "What the old lady said, you got any idea where the heck we are?" He then waved "Sorry couldn't help but budge in" He then nodded as Cassidy explained then mentioned a war. That was when Hun interuptted "Whoa whoa whoa. A war?! What do I have to do with a war? If I'm gonna fight, what's in it for me?" He then smirked as Cassidy suggested if he wanted to stay in Ask Thatguy's place after the war, he would be rewarded. He nodded, tapping Cassidy's chest "Well now we're talking. You had me at money" He then gave a nod to the others "Name's hun. Guess we're all in the same club now"
