Where is this character from? The Lion King
Why did you pick him/her?: She's an inactive character and now that nala's on the way she can be there for Nala and Kiara. Get some mother/daughter and grandmother/grandaughter bonding especially since sarafina & kiara never had any scenes together in lion king 2.

Personality: Kind, loving, protective. Devoted mother/grandmother. She loves her family and is protective of them and her friends new and old. She has gotten hurt in this war a little but that hasn't stopped her wanting to help her new allies and keep her granddaughter safe.
History:
Sarafina grew up in the Pridelands befriending Mufasa and Sarabi as they became really good friends. She was wary of Scar but joined the Pride. She mated with a rogue lion who eventually left unaware Sarafina was pregnant. She gave birth to her daughter Nala and raised her in the pride as Nala grew up with help from the other lionesses. She was glad Nala befriended Simba the only other cub in the pride at the time and soon agreed with Mufasa and Sarabi to bethrothe them.
One day Sarafina was giving Nala a bath and Simba asked Nala to come with him to the water hole. Both kids asked their moms who agreed as long as Zazu went with them. A few days later Sarafina grieved with the pride when Mufasa and Simba were declared dead and comforted her daughter. She was angry when Scar took the throne but they were powerless to stop him as he was only heir left. Sarabi was only queen by marriage and had now real link to the throne.
Years later when Nala and Rafiki left the Pridelands and returned with Simba, Timon and Pumba. Sarafina, Sarabi and the rest of the lionesses teamed up with them and overthrew Scar and the hyenas. Scar was killed and the hyenas fled. Some of the lionesses were on Scar's side and were banished. One of them having three cubs Nuka, Vitani and Kovu. Sarafina was overjoyed when Nala gave birth to her granddaughter Kiara. When Kiara met up with the Outlander cub Kovu Sarafina was worried like the others Zira or the others might have hurt Kiara. But she was relieved Kiara was ok. A couple days later she and Kiara ended up in another world in the middle of a war. She participated in a few battles but soon phased out of the war for awhile recovering her wounds and training to get stronger. Now she was ready to return back into the war and hopefully spend more time with her grandaughter Kiara.
