It's A Jolly Holiday (Ralph)

(April 13th. Afternoon.)

Rogue was nervous as she teleported into an abandoned alley in New Orleans at the restaurant. Harvey had helped find some good places when he was down here with Lottie earlier and she'd missed good Southern cooking. And she thought she could bring Ralph here for a date. They hadn't really got to spend much time together outside of the house. And she hadn't dressed up much. She was wearing a blue T-shirt, and jeans deciding not to go to any place too fancy but she did want to spend time with him. She walked out of the alley towards a fountain in the town square. It was where they'd said they'd meet. She hoped he was able to make it. Things had been hectic at the house lately especially with the disappearance of Bruce. No one could locate him and she knew some of the others were worried sick especially Tony. But there wasn't much they could do until they found him. Especially as they had two armies now and if they stormed the wrong base it'd tip off the other one and security could be even tighter. She sighed focusing on today hoping the date went well.

Ralph was in his normal attire but he had a bowtie, hoping it'd impress rogue. He was excited to have a date. In a new city nonetheless. Ralph was glad to get out of the house anyway, especially since security was doubled since the disappearance of Bruce Banner. It didn't help much. A lot of people were depending on each other. Stressing Ralph out to be quite honest. He found Rogue as he teleported to a alley where she was and replied "Hey rogue, ready for some fun?"

Rogue grinned seeing him arrive.

"I'm so glad you made it." said Rogue.

She leaned forward giving him a kiss on his right cheek and took his right hand with her left hand.

"I'm always ready to have some fun. Especially with you." said Rogue.

Ralph beamed as he was kissed and that his hand was held. Immediately he began looking around the area. So much things to do. So much to see. He turned to Rogue and replied as he heard some faraway music "Looks like there's a band playing, maybe we should see them perform and then maybe get something to eat later? While we eat we can plan more stuff!" He looked around the area and gave a little laugh "Wow, this place seems to have everything!"

Rogue grinned.

"The music sounds good. Maybe we could even dance for a bit?" asked Rogue.

She nodded.

"Yes we can eat later. I'm not sure what's good here so we may have to look around for a good place to eat anyway." said Rogue.

She chuckled.

"It sure seems that way." said Rogue.

Ralph blushed as Rogue suggested dancing. He twiddled his fingers shyly "I don't know. I suck at dancing. But I guess you should try something once" He shrugged again, smiling a bit "I don't see why not. It's worth a try" He then replied enthusiastically "This is my first time in this place. It's actually beautiful. Lots of fun stuff here"

Rogue smiled.

"Well we don't have to. And we could always do that later by ourselves. I worry about accidentally touching someone if it's too crowded. If people start passing out or something people will start worrying about a disease or something." whispered Rogue.

She nodded.

"How about we just explore together? Harvey and Lottie mentioned a good place they went to last time. If we can't find anything else we could go there." said Rogue.

"Well if you wanna dance maybe we can do it privately somewhere. We have all the time we need" Ralph replied. He was willing to try and dance but he was too embarrassed to do it in public. With Rogue's power and his clumsiness, it'd be chaotic very fast. He then nodded and replied "Yeah, let's explore. This place is seriously amazing. So many things to see here" He walked with her, holding her hand as he went.

Rogue grinned.

"I wouldn't mind having a private dance with you. That sounds like fun. Just the two of us." said Rogue.

Crowds had never really been her thing anyway. Not being able to touch anyone before Ralph. She smiled giving his hand a squeeze. She couldn't help it. She could touch someone without hurting them or stealing their powers. It was the most wonderful feeling she'd ever experienced.

"Yes let's explore. And we don't need to see everything in one trip. We can always come back another time so let's slow down if we need to. No hurry." said Rogue.

Ralph was relieved Rouge didn't take it too personally when it came to wanting to do a private dance. He honestly didn't want to embarrass himself or her with his terrible dancing. He held her hand and nodded "Yeah we have plenty of time. Let's look around. It's always nice to see a new place every once in a while" He walked about, seeing tons of stores and shops. He didn't see anything that stood out yet but he did appreciate the jazz and music. He then noticed a voodoo shop and grimaced "Well I know for one thing. Definitely not going to that place" Especially since their enemy was a voodoo doctor, ralph tended to stick clear of that sort of thing.

He kept going, finally noticing a nice little jazz club nearby. He pointed "Hey there's a little club over there if you wanna try it"

Rogue walked along with her. When she spotted the voodoo shop she nodded.

"After seeing Facilier's magic I wouldn't want to tempt fate. They could be real or fake but better to not risk anything." said Rogue.

She grinned spotting the club.

"You're right. That does sound good. I wonder if there's a fee to get in." said Rogue.

Ralph couldn't help but nod "Yeah, definitely not gonna try tempting fate. I did that once, ended up getting my butt kicked to the curb" Ralph then turned to look at the club again and turned to see a poster that said "Date night! If you're with a date no charge" Ralph beamed and replied "Hey if someone's on a date, which we are, it's free! So there isn't really a charge. I say we go in and give it a shot!" He hoped she would agree, jazz clubs sounded fun

Rogue grinned as they kept going and saw the poster.

"Well, that sounds great. Let's go. At least if we don't like it or the music we can always leave. And being free means we didn't waste money on something we didn't enjoy. Although I'm hoping I will like it." said Rogue.

"I'm hoping so too" With that said, ralph took rogue's hand and lead her in the club. He talked to the owner about being on a date and the owner gave a thumbs up to let them in free of charge. Ralph noticed the jazz being surprisingly smooth and not a lot of people were dancing but chatting. A perfect place for a dance. Ralph looked to the band as the singer started to sing and turned to her with a soft smile. He offered his hand "Madame? May I have this dance?" He did this clearly wanting to be fun but also to genuinely give her some chance to start dancing

Rogue was surprised to be let in free but wasn't going to c omplain. She smiled enjoying holding Ralph's hand. So many things she had been unable to do but now she could touch him, and kiss him without putting him in a coma. Or gaining his memories and abilities. She grinned at his question.

"Yes. I'd love to dance." said Rogue.
