Where is this character from? Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command.
Why did you pick him/her?: To have another fighter in the army. She's also one of my favorites from that tv show. A princess who can fight back. Not every disney princess can say that.

independent, strong-willed, and clever
Powers/Abilities: Ghosting (Phasing through objects & people); Read minds; Tangean Brain Squeeze (rendering people unconscious); skilled in hand to hand combat; wrist laser on space ranger uniform.
History:
Mira Nova is a Tangean Princess. She had a ex-boyfriend Romac, Grounder, a rival race to Tangeans who live on the same race. Her father broke them up when she was young after finding out about them. She has the ability to ghost through walls and even into people. Being near Grounders cancel out her powers making them useless. She joined the Space Rangers against her father's wishes. She has an estranged relationship with her father but she does care about him. Commander Nebula wanted her to be Buzz's new partner. But he refused. Soon they, Booster the janitor and XR the robot all became their own team stopping Zurg time and time again. She appears to have the most common sense on the team, sticking to the rules most of the time during missions even when Booster and XR are goofing off.
She met an alternate Mira Nova from another universe when Zurg teamed up with an evil Buzz Lightyear from that universe. Alternate Mira's planet was destroyed with her father confirmed to be dead. The two Miras teamed up during the mission and got along great. But soon Alternate Mira went back to her universe. Mira became Buzz's second in command acting in charge when Buzz was captured or went solo once in and awhile. She got power hungry temporarily after hosting into a Crystallic Fusion Generator Core and became a supercharged, power-speed-junkie. But after several attempts she realized it was taking over her life and she managed to overcome her energy addiction with help from her father. She's fused with Buzz a couple times and even one into Gravitina's head by accident when trying to read her mind. Gravitina used her powers to suck her inside her head stopping her from revealing any information. Mira escaped thanks to Buzz's arrival though.
She was cloned twice along with Booster and Buzz. First as kids who later built their own version of XR called Xtreme. Feara was her kid clone. But after defeating the kids they left them in a cell thinking they were asleep. The kids and Xtreme began trying to bust out. But Zurg tried to create clones again instead creating them too old to fight. Mira's old clone couldn't hear used a horn to listen to people to talk. Lord Angstrom also attempted to take over her kingdom but was stopped by Mira, the Tangeans, and the rest of Team Lightyear. She was pulled into another universe by the war and joined up with Critic's army hoping to stop it and get back home.
